Imlie at 8th position.

Let's just accept it. Imlie episodes were bad last week. Ek toh they changed the storyline against the audience wishes. Dusra they gave filler irritating episodes. If you kill an already established lead character, you need to replace that with a character who is even better! Surya failed to do that.

Also people connected with bar girl Imlie, who was so strong and not a servant Imlie who is there to take orders. A bar girl is in a commanding position where as a servant is in a weak position. To make it worse Imlie worships the Chaudhurys who doesn't seem to suffer for their mistakes. Audience thought Surya would make them suffer but they made Surya another bechara like Agastya. That was such a wrong move. People could not connect with Surya's sob story. The story didn't move an inch, centimeter Or millimeter but seemed to move backwards.

Imlie was being given lave widow salwars. Only they changed from last Thursday. Audience loved Imlie in revealing clothes. She better be back in those kind of sarees.

Currently we are in a aage kuan peeche khai situation. If at this time they bring back Agastya then all the problems will be solved and we will move to season 4 if SP agrees with it. Otherwise it will go on with Surya.

The only middle path possible here is showing Surya as Agastya and hope TRP improves bit by bit.

The main theme of Imlie 3 was the respect of a bar girl in the society. Now with the death of Agastya and change in storyline, the bar girl story is ditched but is replaced with a very very inferior story. That is Imlie as a maid where the maid does not stand for her respect. Audience somehow cannot accept this.

Actually the dropping trps are expected.. we are where we started this season.. this whole surya - imlie story was like a new story altogether.. they needed time to set up the characters, bring the characters all under one roof, now only they have the drama rolling. Only yesterday and today’s epi- we have come to the drama where audience can look forward to.. Amrit is back as the villain, binni vamp, binni-imlie-surya triangle also they have set with the shaadi..

family drama is full on set up with dadi being dead against imli and favouring binni.. the only thing they need to ensure is that when imli-surya marriage happens, imlie can stay back for the family but she should not accept surya.. the necessary angst/conflict needs to come from imlie who refuses to move on from Agastya and slowly surya- imlie equation can be built..

For some reason, the channel has given gul time to establish new story which is why it took them 3weeks to get here and they needed also.. am thinking, sp will wait for the after marriage story trps to take a call on this show .. if it increases, then yes, else Tata bye bye

Yes exactly. From now on it needs to be stable and work otherwise it's tata bye bye for sure.

Character assassination of Agastya would have happened then. But now I think that would have been a better option than killing him and next moment bring Surya as his lookalike.

It lost everything today. It's below all the shows now except for the 11 pm one. The Chaudhurys are doing one crime after another, inflicting pain on everyone and then getting away with it. Karma to chodo no one speaks a word against them. Atleast dusre shows mein those who are wrong are shown wrong. Surya looked to be an extra burden and not a lead by being an extra member in torturing Imlie.

Why the change in lead worked wonders initially in Imlie season 1? Because the new lead was everything the old lead wasn't. The new lead was what the audience wanted the old lead to be. While in Surya there are chances of character development, they need to progress with it than show cringe.

Haan. Agastya was the soul of the show. People cannot connect with Surya the way they did with Agastya. That's the truth. Btw I did say Imlie 3 may reach its lowest trp with the new track. But a new track needs time to connect with the audience.

maybe that's why Surya Family SS and importance has reduced in last two -three episodes and with Surya Imlie marriage track against dadi wishes they are trying to tell that Surya too is Chaudhary family member and he can be just like Agsatya

It has been 4 weeks Since Agastya died. The trps were 1.9, 1.9, 1.8 and 1.7. So it is definitely not working. The audience wants to see Agastya coming back. Memory loss track would have worked here. But nope the writers want to destroy everything and kill Agastya. Anyway this show seems to be on till May only. So fine - if the team is not concerned about dropping trps what can we do ?

Yup, I can see how it was confusing but that's what I wanted to say with bring Agastya back.. As in show Surya as Agastya only.. And slowly show him coming back to his senses.. I think that's the reason we are again getting that Agastya wali feeling since the last two episodes..

Surya's family can gain importance after marriage only. It cannot before that. Also they did a blunder by making Surya's foster mother toxic. She hates Surya and has no connect with Imlie. Such a waste. They should change the equation after marriage.

I think last week was more of Chaudhurys than Surya's family. Also there were many Surya-Imlie scenes as well last week.

Clearly toxic Chaudhurys being happy without any punishment is not working.
