They can't because their own stars are implicated and as fans, you can't go against the grain. They defend as if they are actually that person. I like to call them the white moderates, clutch their pearls at words, but not at actions.

They write an entrance exam to get into MBBS. They have to pass MBBS exams like all others. They need to work their asses off to get a good PG seat like everyone else.At the most, they get moral support from their parents. Or their parents might help them in their studies.
