Ayushmann Khurrana is undoubtedly the man of the moment!

The actor has been running high on the success of Anubhav Sinha’s - Article 15, the superstar has already commenced the next big flick, Dream Girl, alongside Nusrat Bharucha. He is known for his choice of scripts and playing unconventional characters in his films with utmost perfection. While Ayushmann will be playing ‘Dream Girl’ in Raaj Shaandilyaa’s next, he will be seen playing a man who is balding prematurely and how he copes with the situation in Bala. The satirical black comedy will also feature Bala’s (played by Ayushmann) relationship with women, played by Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar in the film.

Ever since the news of Dinesh Vijan’s Bala went on floors, fans had been waiting for further developments on the same. And to add on to everyone’s delight and put an end to the long wait, the makers have dropped in the first teaser of the film, and it looks every bit of perfect!

The teaser video shows Ayushmann riding a bike and humming to the song 'Koi na koi chahiye' from Shah Rukh Khan’s Deewana, 1992. He looks ecstatic and is seen imitating SRK’s expressions. However, in the latter part of the video, things take a different turn. The moment Bala’s cap blows away revealing his bald look, the character becomes disheartened with a sad look on his face and the song, “yeh jo mohabbat hai” from the film Kati Patang, 1971 starts playing in the background.

Ayushmann shared the teaser on his social media and wrote, “It's time to make some bold, oops bald moves! #BalaTeaser. Link in bio. #DineshVijan @amarkaushik @bhumipednekar @yamigautam #JaavedJaaferi @saurabhshuklafilms #SeemaPahwa @nowitsabhi @MaddockFilms @officialjiocinema

Most actors want to be stars so they don’t want to be bald or do something that is against that image they want to cultivate.

Also $$$.., for such movies to be financially successful and sustainable, you can’t charge exorbitant rates. Veer, Dhawan, Bira etc charge too much for the producers to even make this movie.

Looks interesting. Somehow Ayushman is able to get unique and engrossing stories. And then people blame BW for not experimenting. He takes on unusual roles and performs them with ease.

Ayushmann mast kaam kar raha hai.

I think from now onwards I should start watching his movies in theaters, the only ones I saw were VD and BKB.
