#Super30 Interval- @iHrithik gave 2.5 years to this film & it worths every second, every day , every moment. Watta film..
Want this movie to do well only because of Hrithik. He deserves so much better. So many years wasted because of stupid overhyped controversies and the personal turmoil that followed. Bollywood is indeed very selfish place to be in.
Though not very happy about that Bahl guy doing well at the same timeđ

Teachers play a very important part in our lives. But we always forget our teachers. Time and again Bollywood has reminded us the importance of a teacher. From Jeetendraâs character in Parichay to Amitabh Bachchanâs role in Black to Aamir Khan in Taare Zameen Par to Rani Mukerjiâs Naina in Hichki, we have had many films that showcased the importance of a teacher. And now, itâs time to witness the story of one more teacher on the big screen. I am talking about the film Super 30 which is based on the life of educationalist and mathematician Anand Kumar.
For the uninitiated, Anand Kumar is the man who teaches underprivileged kids for IIT-JEE, the entrance examination for the Indian Institutes of Technology. The movie showcases his journey from a sharp student to a papad seller to a teacher who starts earning very well to a person who decides to leave his job and starts teaching underprivileged kids for free. Kumar is surely an inspiring figure and Vikas Bahl wonderfully gets his story on the big screen.
The screenplay of the film is engaging and keeps us hooked throughout for those 154 minutes. It has scenes that will make you smile, laugh and even cry. However, we cannot ignore that Vikas has taken a few cinematic liberties here. There are scenes that would have not happened in the life of Anand Kumar, but we are shown in the film and we can see that it is dramatised for audiences to enjoy it. By the way, brushing up your maths and physics knowledge will help you enjoy the movie more. There are a couple of scenes where Hrithik asks a question to his students and even you feel like calculating and answering it. Also, the dialogues in the film are very good, especially, this one, âRaja ka beta raja nahi banega, raja wahi banega jo haqdar hogaâ.
Super 30 is packed with some fantastic performances. Hrithik Roshan is excellent in the film. This is clearly one of the best performances of his career. Pankaj Tripathi is amazing and will make you laugh whenever he appears on the screen. Mrunal Thakurâs role in the film is quite small, but she has acted well. Amit Sadh has an extended cameo in the movie, and he impresses us a lot. Nandish Sandhu plays the role of Anand Kumarâs brother Pranav and he is damn good. The kids in the film are outstanding. The casting of the kids is perfect.
The movie has a few songs, but the one that will stay with you even after the film is over is Basanti No Dance. The song has been shot wonderfully and it is one of the highlights of the film. Even the background score is simply fantastic.
Overall, Super 30 is a well-made film with no dull moments. Hrithik Roshan and other actors shine throughout the film.

Super 30 Movie Review: This Hrithik Roshan Film Has Heart In Its Head!
Whatâs Good:Just doesnât depend on the âintentâ, finds it sweet little ways to keep the entertainment intact, itâs a blockbuster show as far as all the performances are concerned with HR leading the pack, Ajay-Atulâs âwhat a wowâ background score
Whatâs Bad: This kind of subject doesnât need 154 minutes to establish its point, few pop-emo sequences couldâve been easily avoided
Loo Break: Itâs a long film, yes but itâs not as boring to demand a break in between. Interval is the perfect choice for this!
Watch or Not?: Iâm someone who craves for real stories to be told if itâs the same case with you then definitely go for it!

We are welcomed by a slickly styled Fugga (Vijay Varma), whoâs delivering a speech regarding Anand Kumar (Hrithik Roshan). Into a flashback scene, the story rewinds to 1996 where it all started. Anand, a brilliant student, gets declined from a college library just because he wasnât a student. This hurts and inspires him at the same time, which leads to getting him selected for Cambridge.
Life had other plans for Anand, as, after suffering a personal tragedy heâs left with not many options. A local coaching owner picks him up and offers a job as a teacher. But, even that wasnât he wanted so he moves towards his aim creating some good and many bad friends. He leads a group of 30 students, educating them for free to prepare for IITâs entrance exam. How he dodges the obstacles and reach till the finish line is what the story is all about.
Super 30 Movie Review: This Hrithik Roshan Film Has Heart In Its Head!
Penning a biopic for a not-so-renowned personality is always a tricky zone to step in. There are a lot of scenes which forces you to think whether they happened for real â some make sense, some donât. Special mention for Ajay-Atulâs inclusion of âdesiâ opera during the heavy-on-heart scenes. The BGM just multiplies the effect in the emotional scenes, which worked very well for me.
Not one, but Hrithik Roshan nails two âPursuit Of Happynessâ moments in the film. The major fault of the script is to follow a similar format of biopics done before. Youâll be reminded of PadMan at some places, Sui Dhaaga at certain. Apart from these issues, the movie has a lot to offer and HR makes sure itâs delivered with sublimity. Few gimmicks here and there put a brake on the continuous connect. A. Sreekar Prasadâs editing surely needed some cutting, as itâs too long at 154 minutes.
Itâs not at all easy to get your act together in a movie such as this. Full marks to Hrithik Roshan for not losing his head for a single scene. He performs each scene as his first & excels in them. Yes, the dialect fluctuates from being a caricature to actually nailing it. He has mastered the look and the walk, which helps him to express with perfection. Nandish Singh as Hrithikâs brother delivers a confident performance. His smart and sensible screen presence aids the leads to do their job.
Pankaj Tripathi owns every scene he is in. Not a big role, but a memorable one. Watch out for an outstanding scene between him and Aditya Shrivastava (CID Fame). Aditya aptly supports the story with his performance. He doesnât go over-the-top stereotypically and fits in the cast well. All of the kids know what are they doing. Theyâre guided well with the dialogue delivery and screen presence.
Vijay Varma shines in a cameo, holds to the emotional quotient of his character. Mrunal Thakur looks beautiful! Her chemistry with HR is the base of a love story which shouldâve been explored a little more than it was.
Vikas Bahl goes all rustic to depict a time which couldâve been shown in a simple manner. The colour correction, props used arenât enough to match the aura of the 90s. I wouldâve loved more of a âYeh Meri Familyâ treatment to the subject. Because of the weak art direction, Vikas misses many opportunities to pick up some scenes. He leads some brilliant emotional sequences, too, but overall thereâs something missing.
The most important thing this movie missed is a few âAmit Trivediâ level songs. Ajay-Atul does well with the background score, thatâs probably one of the best takeaways from the film. Songs, though situational, had more potential to uplift the narrative. Niyam Ho remains the best of all; itâs placement also a lot to do with it being so good.
All said and done, Super 30 surely has the heart at its right place i.e in the head. Hrithik Roshanâs spellbinding performance maintains the Intrigue. Watch it for what it has to say, rather than what it shows.

Super 30, the biopic on mathematician Anand Kumar has been one of the most eagerly anticipated films of this year.
Hrithik Roshan
Rakesh Roshan saw his son Hrithikâs new film Super 30 on Monday night, and the proud father just canât stop himself from raving about it. âSuper 30 is a super film. It deserves to be a resounding success. Fingers crossed. This is Hrithikâs best performance to date,â he gushes.
Coming from a filmmaker in whose films Hrithik has also had stellar performances, this is a big deal.
Super 30, the biopic on mathematician Anand Kumar has been one of the most eagerly anticipated films of this year. And it looks like the film has turned out even better than what the producers had hoped for â A special preview screening on Monday night had selected audience members in agreement about the filmâs merit.
Following this development, now full of confidence for the film, the producers have decided to increase the number of screens for Super 30 all over India when it releases this Friday.
Anand also canât stop crying and raving about being immortalised by Roshanâs performance. âHe has done to me what Ben Kingsley did to Mahatma Gandhi,â raves the mathematician.
