well, i have seen Muslim guys marry second time without divorcing the first wife...in fact, one just eloped with his second wife, without caring about his dependent wife and two small kids...i dont see that as an instance of using Sharia law to avoid long court procedures... we have famous celebs also using it to convert into Islam and remarrying, without divorcing their first wives, haven't we ??

So dont think its special...

I have seen many married hindu men having an affair and some leaving their wife and running away , others changing names to diff religion as per convenience while practising Hinduism...i don't see anyone fighting for these women or these men getting punished for what is not legal .

Just saw you edit : oh i have no doubt that shabana and her family are hypocrites of highest order what i have objection to is how this tweet from 2017 is being spread now by adding allah and inshallah in her tweet .

Would this have been taken lightly if the names were reversed and prophets and Saints names were used... if you want to raise and point make it such that you don't hurt religious sentiments, any religion... this tweet clearly is inciting and spiteful... she knew it would draw attention which she oh clearly misses...

Go through the thread prophet's name and everything has been used here constantly to settle scores , i have not seen anyone objecting to it .

shabana is doing that only she is speaking for her country , unless i missed something she is not in favour of triple talaq and other similar practices in muslims . She is hated by many muslims for her stand against some muslim practices .

well she should raise these issues on important Muslim festivals for a better impact like is being done for Hindu festivals... does she do that too?

I think it would receive same outrage on social media and she would receive support from the ones who are outraging now .

How would i know as i don't follow her , i only searched and google brought these results so looks like she openly talks against malpractices in muslim community . Besides what she mentioned are not only for hindus as they are prevalent among all communities.

I don't know about that. I didn't have problem then. Neither do I have now. I can sure point out other's hypocrisy. For me, All religions should be criticized for malpractices.

Just that Some in their bid to hate on Modi, have started to hate on majority 😆 line is blurred.

well if she would have said things like that in muslims festivals also then you would have surely found them in ur google searches like u found these results.

But she only used the name of Hindu Gods and Goddesses and they do not represent all communities... if she wanted to send message to all communities then she could have included names of respected figures from other communities too.

furthermore its not necessary that such messages will be more impactful during festivals only. Cant we spare our gyan for one day and let people enjoy their festival without guilt. cos we can always give such gyan and remind them about these issues for the rest of the year non-stop.
