AnkurJ@monsternaath

On Eid, let's hope no Fatima is stoned, no Aisha is sold to 55 yrs sheikh, no Zainab undergoes halala, no 6 yr old Salma has to wear burkha.

Both these tweets are the absolute truth, there is nothing Hinduphobic or Islamophobic about acknowledging the reality, people should be able to say either or both things freely!

Shabana is a hypocrite but so are people who'll change tunes as per their convinience.

Had this tweet been anti-Islam then it would become pro-Hindu and vice versa. *Please fit any religion in the anti and pro field, I just gave an example*

The problem is keeping religion aside hardly few will look at the point raised and its relevance.

Being dark skinned is not just a problem Hindu girls face but each and every religion/ethnicity/race faces it. So as an Indian why can we not accept that the country where goddesses are worshipped we really should take a stand for the state of our women.
Multiple marriages and 2nd wife and child bride not just a Muslim problem but problem of the nation. Followed by Hindus, Muslims any religion.

Remember when rape incidents are reported? The majority of comments isn't about the heinous crime but which religion did the rapist belong to. Arey Musalman ne rape kiya yeh toh inka dharm hi hai, arey hindu ne murder kiya yeh toh inka dharm hi hai.

Problem isn't why Shabana said, problem is it's "Shabana who said.

Our religion isn't flawed but we surely are.

And btw dear bigots India had child marriages, yes, where children were married to other children mostly and then gauna was done and the bride went to her marital home after she came of age.
Children were not married off to buddhas. Twisting facts wont help.

India has just come out of 800 years of slavery. Only now our economy is gaining. Now education issues and all are getting sorted. And when people...read Indians...become less self loathing...then the colonial hangups will recede by themselves...
Female foeticide had started during the Muslim invaders rule when people were afraid their daughters would be forcibly kidnapped and raped and stuff. Then it later became a trend. Now its a criminal offence. And anyone can judge the sex ratios.

We have anti-dowry laws so much so that a woman can accuse her husband of dowry demands and straight away his whole family can be put in jail. No investigation needed. We believe all women now...See...

So is there anything left which we havent taken steps to ameliorate?? And yet when Sonu Nigam had just asked for a night's peaceful sleep and ban on loudspeakers for all religions, mind you...who were the people most up in arms??

That itself answers the question. Instead of introspection on a simple issue which btw affects every human, he was vilified. The situation is such now that people dont want to buy homes next to mosques. Did loudspeakers exist in 666 AD? Then why so much bigotry?

What BS this is. These bigots will never let Hindus live in peace.

There's a saying -- Lead by example. You have to be that person first before giving out such statements.

A murderer saying Wise words has no impact. Wise words they are but it has a merit based on who says it. Gandhi ji said follow non-violence. But he first followed it. Walk the talk.

Shabana is the problem and hence even if she is giving out right message, she needs to be called out & trolled. She is dhongi. Double faced woman. With ulterior agendas. Bigot!

Your point would be valid if Azmi had said this recently and people were just reacting out of anger or hurt sentiments. But you are glossing over the fact that this was a tweet from 2017 and that it was modified and had a "pray to allah tacked on. Why? If you are acting in good faith, why would you do something so dishonest and devious? These tactics are underhanded and vile. Please tell me why this is ok.

And @NimbuMirchi, I never had an issue with Sony Nigam, nor am I an ardent Azmi supporter. In fact I have never defended her before. But dishonesty is dishonesty.

The addition of Allah and Inshallah doesn't change the whole post does it? I agree that it just fans the flame more, but the flames were already ignited with the original tweet.

I agree Shabana isn't a good example to lead by.
The problem is we as a nation have to improve on a lot of things but the stand is taken by celebs, politicians, news people. All hypocrites and propaganda driven.

Hence I personally choose to ignore them but from this tweet I only accepted one thing that if we respect our goddesses so much maybe we should do something for the women of the nation.

Regardless of religion because each and every religion has people who sin and are wrong.

There are several things wrong with digging out old tweets adding allah and inshallah and publishing it now

It is also wrong to focus all these issues only during certain religious events and not during others.

There is something wrong when one decides to wrap social issues with religion, and then post it during a religious festival of a particular community. When exposed, she lies and and claims to work for the welfare of all women irrespective of religion, but nevertheless conveniently uses one particular religion to needle a community.

Even without Allah and Inshallah, the post is still communal and inflammatory.
