And yes DP got gud reviews but it was not DP who got opening for CE. DP was not that big star at that time.

Ah that's what I thought, at 15:35 Anupama grilled him on if he would have a strong female character in next and Rohit gave examples of Deepika in CE, Kareena & Ratna in Golmaal as justification. This was just after he joked that he couldn't make a movie with multiple female leads because actresses have too many staff members to deal with 😛

I think that is really true. CE was made alive because of Deepika's acting. Not SRK.
