CHAPTER 34
ALL THE NAMES & PLACES ARE FICTITIOUS (if any resemblance to persons & places is purely coincidental). I'M NEITHER ENDORSING NOR ENCOURAGING ANY NEGATIVE BEHAVIOUR & CRIME TOWARDS CHILDREN. Its just a "fictional" story for entertainment purposes! PLEASE READ KEEPING IN MIND THAT THIS STORY IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT & DRAMA IS PART OF IT !!!!! If you don't agree with the concept of the story as well as my point of view (POV) of story presentation, kindly DO NOT READ THIS STORY!

"MISHTY?" Geet turned holding a three year old child in her arms who was calling her irritably, "Ma, Ma ghar chalo Mamma ke paas." (Ma, Ma lets go home, Mamma is waiting.) Maan was standing frozen. Geet ran as fast as she could with holding the three year old in her arms towards the cottage at the corner of the clearing. Whereas a furious and disgruntled Maan followed her yelling, "Geet ruko, Geet ruko. Geet tum mujhse abb aur door nahi bhaag sakhteen. Mai tumse..." (Geet stop, Geet stop. Geet you cannot runaway from me anymore. I want to...)
When Maan was just 15 feet away from Geet, he was stopped by two body builder kind of men with new model of rifles loaded in their arms and pointing in his direction as a target. The bulkier of the two men said, "Kripya aap wapis chale jaayiye warna hum goli chalane par vivash ho jaayenge." (Kindly depart from here otherwise we will be forced to shoot.)
"Jo ladki abhi yahaan se bacche ke saath bhaag ke gayi hai woh meri "dharmpatni" hai." (The girl who just now went from here with a child in her arms is my legally wedded wife.)
"Woh hum nahi jaante kintu yadi aap aage aaye toh aapke saath jo hoga uske zimmewar hum nahi honge." (We are not aware of that but if you come nearer to the cottage we will not be responsible for our actions.)
Seeing that two men were heavily armed as well as very well built Maan knew that it will be a messy affair if he tried to attack them even though he could defeat them. Hence, Maan decided to wait and come back with Veer. Maan had turned to leave but then thought something and turned back, "Yeh cottage kiski hai?" (Who is the owner of this cottage??
"Vallabhgarh ke Maharaj Rajeshwar Singhji ki." (It belongs to the King of Vallabhgarh, Maharaj Rajeshwar Singh.) Hearing the reply Maan turned on his heel and left for his Villa.
Meanwhile Geet was camflouged in curtains of the study and was listening and seeing everything. As soon as Maan left, Geet ran to her room calling Charulata on the way, "Bhabhi-sa, hummein abhi ke abhi Mumbai jaana hoga." (Bhabhi, I have to leave for Mumbai at once.)
"Kyun Geet? Aisa kya ho gaya?" (Why? What has happened?) Charulata entered Geet's bedroom to see a suitcase lying open on Geet's bed.
"Bhabhi-sa, inhone hummein dhoondh liya hai." (Bhabhi he has found me.) Geet answered throwing her clothes and necessities haphazardly into the open suitcase lying on her bed.
"Kya? Maan jeejaji ne?" (Who? Maan jeejaji?)
"Haan aur woh kuch der mein hummein wapis lene aanewale honge." (Yes. And a little time he will be back to take me away with him.) Looking at Bhola hesitating on her bedroom door Geet requested, "Kaka, kya aap humare liye ek taxi mangwa saktein hain?" (Bhola, can you please order a taxi for me?) Thereby making Bhola leave and give them privacy.
"Yeh toh acchi baat hai ki tumhein Maan jeejaji mil gaye. Tumko Maan jeejaji ke saath abb wapis ghar jaana chahiye." (This is good news that Maan jeejaji found you. Now you must go with Maan jeejaji back home.)
"Bina aapke or Rishi ke kabhi nahi." (Without you and Rishi never.) Geet said slamming her suitcase shut.
"Geet, please listen go back to Delhi with Maan jeejaji. This only way to save yourself from that lecherous Yuvraj..." Geet stopped Charulata by facing her palm outwards.
"Until Rajveer bhai-sa doesn't accept you and Rishi in his life; as well as Dev Singh Rathore and Jaichand Khandelwal are not punished for their sins I will never go back to Maan. Also lot of time has elapsed and there is no way left for me to return to Maan, Khuranas or Khurana Mansion."
"Rajkumari-sa, taxi aayibe." (Princess, the taxi is here.) Bhola informed picking up packed Geet's suitcase.
Once Bhola had left, Geet put Charulata's right hand on Rishi's head and said, "Bhabhi-sa, aapko Rishi ki kasam ki aap Maan ko nahi battayengi ki hum kahan gaye hain." (Bhabhi, you must swear on Rishi that no one especially Maan will come to know where I am.) Grudgingly Charulata agreed. Slowly Geet, Charulata and Rishi walked till the main door of cottage. After kissing Charulata and Rishi, Geet sat in taxi's rear seat whereas Bhola sat on the passenger seat in front with the taxi driver clasping his small cloth bag. "Kaka, aap...?" (Bhola, why are you...?)
"Geet agar tumko Mumbai jaana hai toh Bhola kaka tumhare saath jaayenge warna tum bhi nahi jaaogi." (Geet if you want to go to Mumbai, Bhola will escort you to Mumbai otherwise you are not going.) Charulata spoke like a presumptive heir of Vallabhgarh's wife.
"Theek hai." (Alright.) Geet agreed as she didn't want to spend any more precious time arguing. Geet waved to Charulata and Rishi, as the car started moving.
Maan nearly sprinted the whole way back to the Villa he was sharing with Rajveer. As he had a gut feeling that Geet may disappear again. He opened the Villa's main door with a bang startling Rajveer and Tukaram. "Bhai, hurry I have found Geet. We have to take her back to Delhi."
"Maan, you are..."
"No bhai I'm not imagining. Geet is staying with...a three year old boy at the cottage owned by Vallabhgarh's Maharaj Rajeshwar Singh."
"WHAT? A THREE YEAR OLD BOY? Is it her child? Has she remarried?"
"I don't know but she is staying in Maharaj Rajeshwar Singh's cottage. PLEASE HURRY!"
"How could I've forgotten about Kaka-sa's cottage?" Rajveer got up agitated. Then calming himself he said to Maan, "Ten minutes will not make a difference you first have breakfast then we will leave."
"I don't..."
"Maan you have been up since 6:00a.m. and its 9:30a.m. now. You are empty stomach and need to have your blood pressure medicine. While I go and get my jacket."
Maan sullenly sat down on the dining table, picked up a banana from fruit basket, poured a cup of black coffee and served himself a potato paranta with cheese single on it and made a roll. He finished banana and black coffee in record time. Took few bites of rolled parantha, then gulped the medicine with water and picked up remaining parantha roll in his hand and said, "Now let's leave."
Rajveer and Maan reached the cottage. The two security gaurd were more amicable now. They bowed to Rajveer as he was Yuvraj of Vallabgarh and let them enter. Rajveer had barely stepped inside the threshold of the cottage when he froze like Maan had an hour back. Maan also stopped as he was following Rajveer. Seeing Rajveer gaze fixed Maan looked in same direction and saw a young girl in her late twenties with a three year old child sitting on her lap playing. "CHARU..." words slipped from Rajveer's lips. The girl looked in the direction of the voice. First their was astonishment on her face, followed by happiness and then tears started flowing. Rajveer spread his arms and Charulata flew into them surprising Maan and Rishi. Rajveer gathered Charulata in tight embrace kissing her all over her face. First Maan was too stunned to react as Rajveer had never behaved in this way before with any girl and then too embarassed to look thereby turning and walking away in search of his Mishty. Maan searched the whole house but found no one else. He saw a middle aged woman who looked like a cook or maid. Maan asked, "Aapka naam kya hai?" (What is your name?)
"Gauri."
"Geet kahan hai?" (Where is Geet?) Maan asked coming straight to the point.
"Hum janibe naa." (I don't know.) Gauri replied. Charulata had forewarned Gauri not to reveal Geet's whereabouts for sake of Geet's security. Maan realising that he will not gain any information from Gauri he decided to question Rajveer's lady love.
By the time Maan returned to where Rajveer was he saw that now Rajveer was sitting next to the girl in her late twenties and the child was sitting on Rajveer's lap. Although not wanting to spoil the happy picture however Maan was getting restless without Geet and decided to interrupt, "Bhai..." Rajveer glanced up and finally remembered Maan.
"Maan, come and meet my family. This is Charulata, my wife. Charu, yeh hain Geet ke pati, Maan Singh Khurana."
"WIFE?" Charulata did namaste to Maan and said "Khamma Ghani Jeejaji."
"Yes I'll tell you about it at leisure and this is my son, Rishabh or Rishi."
"YOUR SON...But I thought..." Getting control of himself he again started, "Mrs. Singhania..."
"Maan call her Charulata or..."
"Geet, mujhe 'bhabhi-sa'bulati hai aap bhi wohi bulaiye jeejaji." (Geet calls me 'bhabhi-sa', you can also call me the same.)
Maan stance soften a little and he said, "Bhabhi, Geet kahaan hai?" (Bhabhi, where is Geet?)
"Jeejaji, Geet yahaan se ek ghanta pehle chali gayi hai."(Jeejaji, Geet has left from here an hour back.)
"Geet kahaan gayi hai?" (Where has Geet gone?)
"Woh mujhe nahi maloom." (That I'm not aware of.)
