2 WEEKS LATER
'Are you sure they would like me Ridzy...???' Anjali asked as they were going to Mallik Mansion...
Today it was Haldi function and Atul had call several times by now to check when they would reached... Anjali wasn't sure if Atul parents like her or not, she was very much nervous to go in front of Atul parents as it was the first time... Also she would be meeting his siblings not as Atul friend but girl friend...
'Stop it Anjy, kitni baar puchenge... Maine kehdiya na, bas kehdiya... Ab ek aur baar pucha toh main tujhe akele waha chodke waapas chali jaungi...' Riddhima said getting irritated...
'Tum gussa kyun ho rahe ho Ridzy, I m just nervous...' Anjali said...
'I know baby but trust me... Or at least trust ur boy friend, woh toh tujhse jhoot nehi bolte na...' Riddhima said...
'I trust u both Ridzy, it's just that meri first time hai toh...' Anjali said...
'Haan haan, main toh din mein dus baar boy friend bana kar, un logo ke parents se milti hun as his girl friend toh mujhe bohot experience hai right...' Riddhima said rolling her eyes...
'What...??? Teri dus boy friend hai, tumne mujhe bataya kyun nehi Ridzy...' Anjali asked being surprise...
Riddhima just wish to bang her head on the wheel when Anjali took her joke seriously, she just asked god in her heart how come she become friends with this so not innocent girl sadly she can't kick out from her life because she is the one best thing happen in her life...
Anjali kept looking towards Riddhima, waiting for an answer but when she didn't clear her doubt, Anjali really thought that whatever Riddhima just mention was truth... She felt bad and got quiet, she felt betray thinking Riddhima hide something so big and important related to her life...
Riddhima stop the car and face Anjali, she very well understood that she had believe what she just said about having boy friends and meeting their parents... Sometimes Riddhima think, how can a girl could be so innocent that she easily believe what other says...
'Anjy, main mazak kar rahi thi... I know u r nervous but it wouldn't leave until u meet them... Aur aisa kabhi ho sakta hai kiya mujhe koi pasand aaye aur main apne best friend se uske baare mein na bataun...???' Riddhima asked facing her...
'Aise mazak koan karti hai Ridzy...' Anjali asked...
'Don't u know me Anjy, main toh aise bakwaas karti rehti hun... Aur tum jaante ho na, main ladkon koh itna interest nehi dete... Mujhe pehle doctor banna hai, uske baad koi aur baare mein sochenge mujhe kiya karna hai...' Riddhima said...
'I know Ridzy...' Anjali said...
'Accha ab chodo in baaton koh, hum poch gaye hai... Let's move on, Atul must be waiting eagerly...' Riddhima said opening her side of door...
'Main tik lag rahi hun na Ridzy...???' Anjali asked again, for god knows how many times...
'Ab tum khud apne boy friend se puch lena...' Riddhima said closing the door behind her...
Anjali also got down from the car, locking it both make their way in to the Mallik Mansion as the place was packed with people already as some were working and others has come to attend the function... Anjali stop for a second, Riddhima understood why so not saying anything, she took out her phone to call Atul...
'Chalo...' Riddhima said not looking ahead...
As Riddhima was looking at her mobile, she didn't see the person coming towards her... Anjali saw the guy backwards as he talk someone while coming out, before she could stop Riddhima both crash but lucky neither of them lost balance...
'Sorry...' Guy said looking at Riddhima...
Riddhima was just shocked to see him but before she could say anything, he excuse and left giving a smile to them... By the time, Atul came and saw Riddhima glaring at someone... Atul look the direction but no one was there as the person had left already...
'Yaha kiya kar rahe ho, chalo andar...' Atul said getting their attention...
'Function shuru hogayi...???' Anjali asked...
'Arey nehi, abhi tohda waqt hai... Actually Rahul ke wahase haldi nehi aaya issiliye hum wait kar rahe hai...' Atul said...
'Mujhe laga, shuru hogaya hoga... Issiliye tum itni bechain hokar call kar raha tha...' Riddhima said...
'Luckily, u both are on time... Chalo main tum dono koh Muski se milwati hun...' Atul said...
'Sirf Muski se...???' Anjali asked...
'Filaal haan, kyunki baaki log mujhe nehi pata kaha hai... Itna log hai, mom dad must be attending the guest aur...' Atul stop searching the hall...
'It's fine, baaki sabse baad mein milenge... Abhi dulhan se milte hai...' Riddhima said...
'Chalo, aao...' Atul said leading them inside...
GAREWAL HOUSE
After the elders put haldi on Rahul, his cousins and friends took the reminding time in their hands... They shower Rahul from head to toe as the elders were left to smile seeing the youngster weren't sparing Rahul as it was his day which comes once in a life time...
As they had been spending almost an hour, Mrs. Garewal thought to stop it let Rahul get a shower before the color could turn his skin too yellow... Also someone from Mallik family would be coming to take haldi for their to be daughter in law, she thought to control the situation...
'Accha ab hogaya, Rahul tum jaakar nahalo...' Mrs. Garewal said...
'Thanks mom, love you...' Rahul said being happy when finally he got the permission to fly away...
'No problem, aur tum log bhi apne aapko saaf kardo... Ladki ke ghar se haldi lene ke liye aane wala hoga, tab tak mujhe yaha pe koi bhi haldi ke saath nehi dekhna chahiyeh...' Mrs. Garewal said...
Everyone left as Mrs. Garewal move back to check if the haldi was ready to send Mallik Mansion... Than she got busy with the guest when Karan enter, searching for her as his mother asked him... When he spot Mrs. Garewal, he move forward but was bump to a girl...
'Sorry...' Girl said turning but was surprise to see him...
'It's ok...' Karan said giving her a smile and moving towards Mrs. Garewal...
'Yeh Armaan sir koh kiya huva...' Girl wondered as he left without exchanging another word...
'Shilpa, zara aana...' One of the aunt call from kitchen...
'Aayi...' Shilpa said looking at Karan and than moving to the kitchen to help the Aunty...
Karan left with the Haldi and Rahul also came out after taking a shower looking handsome than before... Mrs. Garewal put black dot behind his ear making him grin, he ask if anyone has come from Mallik Mansion to take haldi and got to know that Karan has left already...
Rahul spot Shilpa coming out from kitchen holding a tray, an idea pop in his mind so he quickly move towards her excusing as his mother also left to attend some guest... Shilpa was arranging refreshment table as he took empty glasses...
'Hey, tum abhi tak yehi ho...???' Rahul asked getting her attention...
'Kyun...??? Mujhe yaha nehi hona chahiyeh...???' Shilpa asked...
'Nehi mera matlab woh nehi tha... I know tum mere function ke liye aaye ho lekin Armaan ne bhi toh tumhe invite kiya hai... So don't you think u should go to Mallik Mansion now before the function start there...???' Rahul asked...
Shilpa stop doing whatever she was doing and look at Rahul, he was enjoying his drink as it he said most normal thing but he knows, Shilpa wouldn't feel comfortable to be around Armaan due to her feelings but still he wants to send her so he could get a glimpse of his to be bride...
'Aise kiya dekh rahe ho, main tumhari boss hun toh woh bhi toh... Usne sabko invite kiya hai, maine dekha hai kuch log toh already nikal bhi chuke hai...' Rahul said looking around...
'Haan but yaha bhi itna kaam hai toh maine socha...' Shilpa was cut by him...
'Arey kaam karne ke liye bohot log hai, tum ek kaam karo... Abhi chali jao aur haan, mera bhi ek kaam kardena waha jaakar...' Rahul said giving his best smile...
'Kiya...???' Shilpa asked raising her eyebrows...
'Main toh jaa nehi sakte, lekin mujhe apne hone wali dulhan koh dekhna hai... Toh tum waha jaakar, mujhe live telecast dikha na please...' Rahul said whispering softly so no one would hear them...
'What, lekin yeh toh...' Shilpa was cut by him...
'Arey kuch nehi hota, please please please... Tum mere liye itna nehi kar sakte...' Rahul asked with a innocent face...
'Lekin Sir...' Shilpa said not understanding what to do...
'Abhi toh Sir bola, waise toh hum personal function ke liye hai yaha lekin tumne Sir bola hai toh, mera order samajh ke kardo...' Rahul said...
'Aap meri boss hai lekin sir, main waha kaise...' Shilpa asked...
'Kyun...??? Tum waha kyun nehi jaa sakte, u r being invite... Common Shilpa, jaise main tumhari boss hun, waise Armaan bhi toh teri boss hai... Usko pata chale, tum yaha aayi aur waha nehi gaye toh socho usko kitna bura lagega...' Rahul said...
Shilpa think about it and she knows Rahul was right, even her other fellow interns know she has come and they would definitely tell Armaan if he asked about his missing interns... Rahul was watching Shilpa expression and he knew that she wouldn't deny now...
Rahul did a victory dance in his mind but control as he kept a straight face not letting Shilpa knows what was going his mind... True, he want to see when everyone put haldi on his to be bride and only she could help him with it because Rahul knows, other wouldn't easily help him...
'Ab itna mat socho, tum yaha sochti rahenge toh waha function khatam hojaenge... Chalo ab jao, waise bhi ab kal aana hai tumhe Sangeet ke liye... So waha jao aur wahi se ghar, I m sure it would be little closer to your place too...' Rahul said...
'Ok Sir, main abhi nikal thi hun...' Shilpa said...
'Good, aur mera kaam mat bhulna please...' Rahul said winking at her...
'Sure Sir...' Shilpa said as she left and Rahul smirk being able to convince Shilpa to go Mallik Mansion...
'Ab koi mujhe apne hone wali biwi koh dekhne se nehi rokh sakte...' Rahul grin thinking as he let a evil laugh in his mind...
MALLIK MANSION
Riddhima and Anjali followed Atul as he went to the middle of hall where a flower beaded swing was attached with ceiling as a pretty looking girl sat over as her feet were on the cushions on the floor she was wearing yellow color salwar kameez she was looking pretty with natural glow adoring her beautiful face...
'Muski...' Atul called getting her attention as he moved to her once looking back at Anjali and Riddhima...
'Muski this is Anjali and Anjali this is Muski my one and only sister...' Atul introduced them smilingly...
'And this is Riddhima best friend of Anjali...' Muskaan smiled warmly at them and got up and hugged both of them...
'So ye hai meri to be bhabhi...' Muskaan said...
Anjali blushed while Riddhima and Atul smiled at them... Before they could continue further loud voice came 'Haldi agyi hai'... So Muskaan again settled on the swing as hearing someone calling him Atul also left asking them to settle down...
Riddhima and Anjali settled themselves with Muskaan as they hardly know anyone but Muskaan being herself chatter box talked with them and Anjali being shy didn't get so much connected but Riddhima and Muskaan were very friendly...
After that ritual started firstly Ananya applied her Haldi then like this everyone came one by one and did the ritual... Then Muskaan asked Riddhima and Anjali to join in as Anjali was about to do Atul came from behind and poured whole bowl on Muskaan who groaned and was about to jump on to him but Riddhima applied some on Atul who grew shocked with move but Muskaan and Riddhima started to laugh hard on the situation...
Riddhima saw Atul again taking some she ran quickly for her life she moved to whole hall followed by Atul while Muskaan kept cheering for her as she was running her and there ditching Atul every time... Everyone was enjoying the show as she saw a table near the stairs with Haldi bowl she ran to it and held it...
'No Riddhima no... Please mat karna...' Atul said as he saw bowl in her hand he was himself still trying to apply Haldi on her...
Riddhima knew he would definitely try to apply on her as he is not scared off Haldi as he is already filled she moved upstairs looking back at Atul to see if he is coming Atul moved ahead to apply stretching his hand and in process she lifted speed and didn't look ahead and bumped into someone and all Haldi fall on Riddhima...
'Haww...' Everyone laughed seeing which she looked at person seeing him...
'Yeh Kya kiya huh..? Mere Sare kapre kharab krdea...!!! Kbhi tou sahi trhan se chal lo jb dekho takar rate rehte...' Riddhima spoke annoyed...
'Oh hello miss aap peeche dekh raein thi me nhi...' Armaan said to her...
'Me nhi dekh rae thi tou tumhari tou Anahein hain na, button tou nhi dekh lete...' Riddhima answered...
'Oh So ab me is bt ka bhi dhyan rakhun k madam kb Kya krti...???' Armaan said exasperated...
Before they could continue they heard voice from behind...
'Chal na Armaan, Kya krha hai...? Jane de...' Riddhima hearing the voice looked back...
Seeing the man she looked ahead staring Armaan she again looked back and seeing Karan there she fainted...
