Beinteeha - Rajveer-Naina

At one of the award functions, Rajveer has been invited to attend it as he has been nominated for the "best businessman of the year" award.

In a black classy suit, he enters the elegant hall that is filled with lots of people that are clapping for him. With no expressions on his face, he makes his way through the crowd towards his seat. Walking nonstop, he suddenly halts in his tracks as his gaze falls on someone who is also present there.

Yes, she is none other than Naina Singh Ahluwalia. Naina feels someone's strong and intense gaze. Looking in that direction, she realises that he is staring at her as his eyes expresses nothing but anger.

Scared of what her eyes might reveal, she lowers her eyes and acts as if she does not know him. Ignoring him, Naina looks in the other direction. This succeeds in reaching Rajveer's anger. He has had enough. Automatically his right hand turns into a fist.

Rajveer is unable to tolerate such behaviour from the women he has fallen in love with. No, there is no way he is pressuring her to accept his love. The only thing he wants is to know about the raaz she has been hiding this whole time. He just wants to confess his feelings and would like to know about hers as well. The fact that she is avoiding him when she is also in love with him, this irritates him. He knows she loves him, but is afraid to express it. Afterwards, if her answer is a "no", then there is no way he will bother her ever again. He is a true gentleman who respects every women!

"Aaj mein jaan kar rahoonga ke tum mujhse kya chupa rahi ho Naina"

mumbles Rajveer under his breath

Knowing she won't look towards him, Rajveer makes his way towards his seat, angrily.

Soon, the award function begins. One by one, the awards are announced. Now, it's finally time for the announcement of the "best businessman of the year" award. While others are cheering, Rajveer's full concentration is on Naina.

"And the best businessman of the year award goes to...Mr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat"

This announcement breaks Rajveer's trace. Hearing his name, he looks towards the front. While the hall is filled with claps, Rajveer gets up from his seat and makes his way towards the stage.

Getting on the stage, he receives his award while his full attention is on Naina. A smile starts to creep on Rajveer's lips as he sees Naina's reaction. Looking deeply in her eyes, her eyes reveals how happy she is for him to receive this award while a gorgeous smile is playing on her lips.

Naina realises and notices him gazing at her with a smile. She quickly lowers her eyes and her smile vanishes. This succeeds in making Rajveer's heart to skip a beat. Why is she hiding so much from him?

Still staring at Naina, he goes towards the mike to say few words.

"Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen! I am honoured to receive this award in such an early stage of my career. There is someone I would like to dedicate this award to, to the women I love. And she is...

announces Rajveer but stops abruptly as he tries to see Naina's reaction.

As soon as Rajveer utters these words, Naina starts to feel uncomfortable. She lowers her eyes out of nervousness. Seeing her reaction, a satisfactory smile creeps on Rajveer's lips. At this moment, he is sure about her feelings. He has decided that he will find out the truth.

"And she is none other than my mother!"

Rajveer completes his sentence.

As soon as these words escapes from Rajveer's mouth. Naina takes a sigh of relief. Hell there is no way he will ever make her uncomfortable.

Soon the award function comes to an end. As soon as it finishes, Naina gets up from her seat. With the help of the crowd, she tries to escape from this situation.

Naina succeeds in escaping from the hall. Taking a sigh of relief that she won't have to face Rajveer's questions, she freely walks towards her car when she is pulled by a pair of strong hands.

This happened so quickly that Naina could not protest. The next moment, she finds herself in a black BMW. She looks around her surroundings to 
examine what the hell is actually happening. Looking towards her right, she finds the man who she has been trying to run away from, Rajveer. And before she could understand, Rajveer starts the car.

Not wanting to go with him anywhere, Naina looks towards her left and tries to open the door. But before she could do such a thing, Rajveer grabs her right hand's wrist with his left hand, pulling her to him.

As Naina tries to protest to get out of his hold, Rajveer makes his grip even tighter.

"Choriye mera hath!! Ye kya kar rahe hain aap?"

yells Naina

Not wanting to hear her words, Rajveer makes no effort to look towards her while he keeps driving. This behaviour of Rajveer irks Naina. Constantly, she tries to get out of his grip, but fails miserably.

"I said Leave my hand Mr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat"

she yells again

At the sudden yelling, Rajveer applies the breaks immediately. Without leaving her wrist, he looks towards her and pulls her closer to him. His eyes blazing with anger.

"Chup chap baitho Naina. Try to speak again and I am warning you, I have other ways to shut you up"

he warns her strictly

A shiver goes through Naina spine as she realises what exactly he is pointing towards. Her cheeks starts turning red out of shyness. Realising she isn't protesting anymore, Rajveer leaves her wrist and continues driving.

She knows what's coming next, but she has promised herself. There is no way she will tell him the truth or confess her feelings for him. But you have forgotten Naina, you are dealing with Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. Don't forget that he gets what he wants.

Reaching at a place where no one seems to be around, Rajveer stops the car with a jerk. Getting off, he helps Naina to come out.

This causes Naina to get angry. She jerks his hand away, the one he is holding her wrist with.

"Aap yahan kyun le kar aaye hain mujhe?"

she yells out of anger

This frustrates Rajveer all the more. He takes a step closer to her as he looks intensely in her eyes.

"Tumhara sach jaanne"

he replies sternly

Naina lowers her gaze at this. She doesn't know how to answer him. Not wanting to face him, she turns her back towards him.

"Jab koi sach hai hi nahi toh kya jaanna chahte hain aap?"

questions Naina

And this doesn't go so well with Rajveer. Grabbing her elbow, he spins her towards him as he brings her closer to him.

"Toh kyun tum mujhe itne dino se ignore kar rahi ho Naina?"

he questions her, more like a whisper

This melts Naina's heart. The only thing she sees in his eyes is, love and affection for her. How can she make him understand that he won't get anything by loving her? He doesn't know anything about her past. He doesn't know how his past is related to hers, and it's better that he doesn't find out. Because if he does, he'll start hating her. She can live far away from him, but she cannot live with the fact that he hates her. Yes, unknowingly, she has fallen in love with him.

Naina lowers her gaze.

"Aap kyun nahi samajh rahe ho Rajveer. Mein aapse door rehna chahti hoon"

confesses Naina, stammering

This brings a smile on Rajveer's face. Putting his index finger under her chin, he makes her to look in his eyes.

"Lekin tumhari aankhein toh kuch or hi keh rahi hain Naina"

he says confidently

A lone of tear escapes from her eyes as she hears his words. He knows her so well, and this is the most dangerous thing. She jerks his hand away. Wiping her tears, she looks in his eyes, deeply.

"Meri ankhein aisa kuch bhi nahi keh rahi jo aap dekh rahe hain"

she replies

With that, she turns towards him to leave when he grabs her by her wrist. And in no time, he pulls her closer to him with a jerk, leading her to collide with his chest.  This shocks Naina all the more. And before she could do anything, Rajveer grabs her face and crushes his lips on top of hers as he starts kissing her. This kiss is more like a dominating one.

Naina is too shocked to even respond. She doesn't know what just happened. And when he sees her not responding to his kisses, it irks him. Still kissing her, he puts a bit of pressure on her wrist, leading her to gasp. No matter how much she tries, she cannot hold back her desires. Yes, his kiss has affects on her and therefore, she enjoys his touch.

Giving up, she starts responding to his kiss. Soon, their kiss becomes heated. Finally, they let go off each other in order to catch some breath.

Getting shocked on what she just did, Naina lowers her gaze. She has literally responded back to his kiss, letting him know that even she craves for his touch. This makes Rajveer to smile.

Holding her by her waist, he pulls her closer.

"Ab kaho Naina ke tum mujhse door rehna chahti ho. Kaho ke tumhe koi farak nahi parhta"

he says whispering

This causes Naina's heart to skip a beat. Naina closes her eyes tightly in order to get some strength. No, she cannot give up so easily.

Opening back her eyes, she pushes him off while she looks at him with rage.

"Nahi farak parhta mujhe. Nahi karti mein aapse pyaar. Samjhay aap?"

she yells

And this brings another smile on Rajveer's face. Smirking, he starts walking towards her. Her heartbeat picks up with every step he takes. She starts taking her step backwards.

"Lekin maine aisa kab kaha ke tum mujhse pyaar karti ho?"

he question her

"Ya phir karti ho!"

he states it this time

Lowering her eyes, Naina halts in her spot. She doesn't take her steps backwards.

"mera woh mathlab nahi tha"

she says stammering

Reaching her, he, again, pulls her in his arms, looking deeply in her eyes. This time, his facial expressions changes to being serious.

"Toh kya mathlab tha tumhara Naina? Samjhao mujhe"

he demands this time

Looking in his eyes, Naina stares at him as her eyes starts brimming with tears.

"Aap kyun nahi samjh rahe ho Rajveer? Please mujhse door rahiye. Ye aap or mere, dono ke liye acha hai"

she replies as her eyes starts tearing up

This hurts him. Seeing tears in her eyes, it hurts him a lot. He shakes his head in a 'no' as a sign of warning her not to cry.

"Kyun Naina? Aisa kyun kar rahi ho tum? Ye jante hue bhi ke mein tumse pyaar karta hoon, kyun tum mujhe apne aap se door kar rahi ho?"

He asks softly

Naina starts tearing up as a moan escapes from her mouth after hearing his confession. She has been trying so hard to distance herself from him, but he is making it difficult for her. How can she make him understand that by loving her, he will only hurt himself.

She closes her eyes as she tries to gain some strength as to what she is about to do. Yes, she has decided to reveal the truth to him. Because this is the only way he'll go away from her. Of course she doesn't want that, but, she doesn't want to start a relationship with lies. So, maybe the destiny has written Rajveer's hate for her.

Opening her eyes, she pushes him off very hard leading him to stare at her with utter shock. Now, with her index finger, she points it towards him.

"Aap us insaan se kaise pyaar kar sakte ho jis ki Maa ki wajah se aapke father ne suicide kar liya?"

yells Naina

A devastated Naina walks inside her house as tears are visible in her eyes. As soon as she is about to walk towards her room, her mother's vouce arrests her.

"Naina, khana kha lo"

calls Meera from the dining table

Naina halts in her steps as she hears her mother's voice. Turning around, she wipes her tears away.

"Mujhe bhookh nahi hai Maa, aap kha lo"

replies Naina

And with that, she leaves for her room. Getting inside, she immediately locks the door behind her. Throwing her purse on her bed, Naina rushes towards the washroom.

Getting inside, with her clothes on, she stands under the shower as she turns the tap on. She lets the water run over her as her sobs gets louder.

Zindgi me koi kabhi aaye na rabba 
Aaye jo koyi to phir jaye na rabba

Naina remembers the days she has spent with Rajveer. Their first meeting flashes in front of her eyes.

Dene ho agar mujhe baad me aansu 
To pehele koyi hasaye na rabba

With anger, Rajveer also enters inside his house. Today, it feels as if he has lost everything in his life. The only women he loved after his mother, she is the one who betrayed him.

Jate jate koyi meri khushiyo ko le gaya 
Suni suni akhiyo ko gham koyi de gaya

When he heard the truth, he did not want to blame her or hate her because obviously it was not her fault. But when she also blamed his father, that's when he lost his temper. And on top of that, she was on her mother's side. She thought his father is wrong and this is the main reason why he has started to hate her.

Aas jo lagayi hai aankh bhar aayi hai 
Itna bhi koyi sataye na rabba

As he walks inside, he halts in his tracks as on his right side, he spots his father's picture. As he takes his steps towards his father's picture, his eyes starts brimming with tears.

Reaching there, he stares at the photo with pain in his eyes.

"Papa, jis ki wajah se aap ki jaan gayi, mein usse or us se jude hue sab logon ko barbaad kar dunga"

Rajveer promises himself and his father

With that, he wipes his tears away and he makes his way towards his mother's room. Getting inside, he finds his mother, Damini Singh Shekhawat,  sitting on her wheelchair, right across from her bed.

Since the time his father, Karan Singh Shekhawat, has committed suicide, his mother has turned into a stone and day by day, her condition is getting worse. Not just his suicide, but his betrayal has hurt Damini all the more.

Wiping the tears that were in Rajveer's eyes, he helps his mother to lay down on her bed comfortably. Sitting next to Damini, Rajveer takes her right hand in between his palms.

"Mein papa ko toh wapis nahi le aa sakta maa lekin mein aapse wada karta hoon ke mein unhe insaaf dilaoonga"

he promises his mother.

With that, he turns the lights off his mother's room and heads towards his room. Reaching there, he locks the door behind him as he makes a very important phone call.

Naina finally comes out of the washroom as she feels a bit better. But she has promised herself that from now on, she will only live for her mother and from now on, the word "love" will not exist in her dictionary. She has decided that she will stay far away from Rajveer, very far away. She doesn't even want to see his face. He had insulted her mother badly, that too without even knowing the damm truth.

Since it's quite late at night and Naina has to wake up early to go to her office tomorrow, she heads towards her bed to sleep.  Trying to erase all the ongoing thoughts that are running in her mind, she switches the lights off and she drifts off to sleep.

Next Morning - 7am

As usual, Naina wakes up exactly at 7am. She immediately gets up from her bed and heads towards the washroom to get ready for her work.

Within few minutes, she comes out all ready. As she looks in the mirror at herself for her final look, her phone rings immediately.

The first person that comes to her mind is Rajveer. She looks at the caller ID and finds out that her secretory, Maria, is calling. Her heart skips a beat as to why she thought of Rajveer again.

Ignoring her thoughts, she picks up the call.

"Good Morning Maria!"

wishes Naina politely

A long sigh escapes from Maria's mouth as if trying to tell Naina that something is wrong.

"Ma'am please jaldi office aa jaiye"

says Maria in a scared tone

This causes Naina to knit her brows out of confusion.  Naina finds the fear in Maria's voice which tells her that definitely something is wrong.

"Kya baat hai Maria, mujhe saaf saaf batao"

questions Naina now getting afraid

Maria takes a deep breath before she reveals the truth.

"Ma'am office mein aag lag gayi hai. Please come fast"

says Maria

Naina's eyes widens at this and she feels as if someone has slipped the Earth beneath her feet.

"WHAT??"

yells Naina

With that she immediately cuts the call and in no time, she grabs her car keys and heads towards her office. While she is driving, Rajveer's words "I will destroy you Ms. Naina Singh Ahluwalia", keeps ringing in her ears.

With in minutes, she finally reaches her office and as she comes out of her car, her eyes widens in shock as she finds her entire office on fire. All the staff members are standing outside and fortunately, no one gets injured.

Naina gets another shock when she finds Rajveer Singh Shekhawat standing few meters away from her office, near his car, with his sun glasses on while there is a smirk playing on his lips and his arms are crossed over his chest.

Now begins the real war between the two.

Two days Later

In these past two days, Naina tried to find a job, yet no one seems to hire her. Even though she has done her MBA from America and other qualifications are perfect, but still, no one wants her. And she knows very well who has done this. He is none other than the stone-hearted Mr. Shekhawat.

Due to not having any property papers, Naina's houses were took over by the bank. The only house left is the one she is currently living in. It's a very small, yet a decent house. The bank has given her a week to find another place to live.

Today is the day when Naina has decided to go to another city. She has gotten a call from the "DSS Corporations" in Faridabad for a job interview as an accountant in that company. Knowing that she won't get a job here, she has decided to go. This is the only way she will be able to support her mother.

6am

After freshening up, Naina comes out of her room and heads towards the dining table where she finds her mother already sitting and waiting for her, for breakfast.

"Good Morning Maa"

greets Naina as she settles herself down on the chair

With no expressions, Meera just stares at Naina's face. Neera's eyes conveys her feelings very well.

"Naina kya tera Faridabad jana zaroori hai?"

questions Meera instead of greeting her back

Naina, who was about to take a spoon of cereal, she stops. Putting the spoon down, she looks towards Meera. Getting up, she walks towards her mother and sits next to her as she puts her hand on top of her mother's.

"Maa ye aapko bhi pata hai ke mera jana kyun zaroori hai. Or aap fikar mut kijiye, mein kal tak toh aa hi jaongi. Or agar job mil gayi toh phir aap bhi mere sath chalogi"

replies Naina with a smile

Naina hasn't told everything to her mother. She just told Meera that her office has been burnt down, due to which she lost everything.

Smiling, Meera nods at her. This assures Naina and she walks back to her seat and sits.

"Acha Naina ye kon si company hai?"

questions Meera

Naina just makes a confused face.

"Pata nahi Maa. Koi DSS Corporations hai"

replies Naina

This makes Meera to knit her brows as if she has remembered something after hearing the name of the company.

"Or wahan ka boss kon hai?"

questions Meera again curiously

Meera's questions confuses Naina. When did Meera start taking interest in these things? And why is she asking so many questions?

"I have no idea Maa lekin sab wahan ke boss ko Mr. RS bulate hain. Maine itna kuch search nahi kiya. Job offer aayi toh maine interview ke liye haan kardi sath hi"

replies Naina

With that, Naina finishes her food. Getting up, she goes back to her room to grab her bag and her car keys. Luckily, she still has her car.

"Acha Maa mein chalti hoon"

informs Naina as she kisses her mother on her cheek

Meera takes Naina in her embrace as a lone of tear escapes from Meera's eyes.

"Apna khayal rakhna beta"

says her mother

Smiling, Naina takes her mother's blessings and with that, she walks towards her car. With a lot of hope, Naina sits in her car and makes her way towards Faridabad. Something she doesn't understand is, she hasn't sent her resumes to "DSS Corporations", then how come they called her? Ignoring these thoughts, Naina starts driving.

8am - DSS Corporations - Faridabad

Exactly at 8, Naina reaches there. Even though her interview is at 8:30, yet she always likes to be early. Parking her car, Naina sits in her car for few minutes as she closes her eyes and prays to god. This job is really important for her and she needs it badly.

After praying, she comes out of her car and makes her way inside. This office is not too big, but is very well maintained. Smiling, Naina walks up to the receptionist.

"Hi, I have an interview at 8:30"

informs Naina

Maya, the receptionist, looks up and rolls her eyes out of irritation as she glares at Naina.

"Ms. Naina Singh Ahluwalia?"

questions Maya getting frustrated

Maya's behaviour confuses Naina all the more. It feels like Maya doesn't like her, but why? It's her first day here and she doesn't even know Maya.

"Yes"

replies Naina

Maya checks something in her file and she looks back towards Naina.

"Lagta hai time se pehle aana tumhe kuch zayada hi pasand hai. Your interview is at 8:30 and its only 8:15. Anyways, sir aa chuke hain and you may go in"

taunts Maya

Naina gets confused even more by Maya's behaviour. She doesn't understand what Maya's problem is with her.

"Thanks!"

wishes Naina being polite

With that, Naina walks towards a cabin where Maya has pointed towards. With every step Naina takes, her heartbeat picks up pace. She doesn't understand why she feels this way. Her increasing heartbeat conveys her fear which is due to an unknown reason.

Ignoring her thoughts, Naina finally reaches the cabin. She finds the cabin door open and she sees a person sitting on a chair, his back facing her.

With a lot of courage, Naina decides to speak

"May I come in sir?"

she takes permission to step inside

There is silence on the other hand for few seconds. The person gets up from the chair, his back still facing towards Naina.

"Please come in Ms. Ahluwalia"

replies the person

This voice skips Naina's heartbeat. How can she forget this known voice? And in no time, he finally turns towards her. In shock, Naina eyes's go round and wide as she finds the person standing in front of her, the same person whom she never wanted to see. The same person who she now hates the most, the one and only Mr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat.

What the hell? How is this possible?

"Aap yahan kya kar rahe hain?"

questions Naina in utter surprise

This brings a smirk on Rajveer's face. He walks towards Naina and stands at a fair distance from her.

"Tum mere hi office mein aa kar mujhse ye sawal pooch rahi ho"

replies Rajveer with a smirk

This drains the blood out of Naina's face. No no no, this is not happening.

"Aapka office? Ye kaise ho sakta hai?"

questions Naina, still in shock

This causes Rajveer to laugh a little as he turns his back towards Naina.

"Tum bewakoof ho ya bewakoof hone ka natak kar rahi ho? I am the boss of this company"

replies Rajveer

With that, he turns back towards Naina. Naina is still standing there in shock as if she is still trying to digest everything. Nothing makes sense to her.

"Lekin yahan ke boss ka naam toh Mr. RS hai?"

questions Naina to herself, mumbling

Smirking at her confused condition, Rajveer takes a step closer to her. This causes Naina to halt and she immediately looks in his eyes.

"Exactly! R S!"

utters Rajveer

At this point, reality drowns upon her and she gets another shock of her life. Why did she not think of this before?

"Mr. RS mathlab Mr. Rajveer Shekhawat"

Naina states the fact

Rajveer's face breaks into smiles as he looks at her. As for Naina, she is not in a condition to think about anything. How is this even possible? Why does this happen to her? What will she do now?

Naina comes back to reality and she glares at a smirking Rajveer. She points her index finger towards him as her eyes burns with rage.

"I will not work with you ever Mr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat"

yells Naina

This vanishes the smile from Rajveer's face and anger starts taking place inside his eyes as he sees Naina's finger pointed towards him.

"You will not work with me. You will work under me Ms. Naina Singh Ahluwalia"

Rajveer yells back

"And it's your choice. Tumhe kaam karna hai karo warna chali jao yahan se"

he yells again

This makes Naina to lower her gaze as she thinks about it deeply. She also lowers her finger that was pointed towards Rajveer. She has no other choice than to work under him. She knows for sure that she will not be able to find another job, all thanks to this stone-hearted man. This job is really necessary for her as this is the only way to support her mother. Yes, she will work under him by putting her ego aside.

"I am ready to work"

replies Naina, still looking down

This causes Rajveer to smile. He takes steps closer to Naina. Reaching her, he stands dangerously close to her as he stares at her.

"Maine kaha tha na ke tum khud aaogi job karne mere paas"

he taunts her

This makes Naina to look at him. Her heart skips a beat as she looks at their closeness. She takes a step backwards.

"Agar mujhe pata hota ke aap yahan ke boss hain, trust me mein yahan kabhi nahi aati. But, I really need this job"

explains Naina, her tone getting softer as if she is about to cry

Rajveer is very well aware of her condition. And somewhere, her pain still affects him, but this time, he will control and he will not let her words and pain affect him.

He immediately turns his back towards Naina as he tries to hide his emotions.

"You are hired as my personal secretory Ms. Ahluwalia"

informs Rajveer

This, yet, gives Naina another shock. What the hell? How can he do this to her?

"Personal secretory? Par mujhe toh yahan accountant ki job ki offer aayi thi?"

questions Naina

This brings a devilish smirk on Rajveer's face. He turns back towards Naina.

"Par ab wo position khali nahi hai. Agar tumhe personal Secretory nahi banna toh tum ja sakti ho"

informs Rajveer with a smirk

Lowering her gaze, Naina rethinks about this. She has no other way. She needs this job badly in order to support her mother.

"Theek hai, I am ready to work"

replies Naina

"Great!"

replies Rajveer immediately

With that, Rajveer passes her a contract and asks her to read it carefully. Naina signs the contract without reading as she doesn't really care about anything anymore, the only thing she needs is this job. Rajveer insists her again to read, but she does not.

When done, Naina decides to leave.

"Welcome to hell Ms. Ahluwalia. See you tomorrow sharp at 8:30am"

says Rajveer

This smile on Rajveer's face tells Naina that she is totally trapped now. Her heart still says that Rajveer will never be unfair with her, but her brain tells her the opposite.

"Good day Mr. Shekhawat"

says Naina

Not looking at him, Naina turns her back towards him as she walks towards the door. Before she could get out of the cabin, Rajveer's voice arrests her.

"aaj se tum mujhe mere naam se nahi bulaogi. I am your boss here, so, you better call me 'sir'"

says Rajveer sternly

Naina halts in her steps. Her eyes starts brimming with tears as she hears Rajveer's words. Yes, he still holds the power to hurt her with his words. She doesn't dare to turn towards him so, her back is still facing him.

"Yes Rajveer...Rajveer sir"

replies Naina in a whisper

With that, she immediately leaves from there. As soon as she leaves, Rajveer wipes that one tear away which just escaped from his eyes. He stands up and shuts his eyes.

"I will not let you affect me again Naina. Jo tumne kiya hai us ke liye mein tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karunga. I will make your life hell"

mumbles Rajveer angrily 

With that, he also walks out of his cabin.

Let's see what their destiny holds for both of them. Can Rajveer really make Naina's life miserable? Will  they ever be able to clear their misunderstandings?
