RIP Sridevi. News is very shocking. Its perfectly possible she died of a heart attack since ppl with no history of coronary artery disease have a more adverse outcome in the event of sudden coronary artery blockage, coronary artery are the ones that supply the heart. That's coz their hearts are not really accustomed to function in the setting of less blood supply. So when blood flow suddenly stops, heart suddenly stops and if timely action not taken patient can die. Its also perfectly possible the cardiac arrest was caused by an arrhythmia or some non vascular reason. Whatever the reason, let this be a wake-up call for all those out there who are particularly neglecting their health because of hectic life schedules. Eat on time, eat healthy, exercise, sleep well, keep stress at bay. Even though a heart attack can happen to anyone, (Sridevi was probably unfortunate enough) if ur healthy and avoid getting Diabetes or Hypertension, it certainly makes u less likely. Do not think that being young nothing can happen to u. Take precautions now itself.

I particularly feel sorry for both her daughters. May God give them strength to tide over these tough times.

Am tired of people saying "Bollywood is such a dirty place etc etc". If it is such a dirty place, why the Hell do these so-called "innocent angels" knowingly enter it? Stay out of the kitchen if u cannot take in the heat.

There was no mystery in Sridevi's death nor was there any mystery in Divya Bharti's death. Not everything that happens in Bollywood needs to have a Conspiracy behind it.

Anyone can have a cardiac arrest at any age. Last year I knew someone who was only 30 passed away while driving due to cardiac attack!
Healthy not healthy anything can happen anytime.
We should not spread anything. We should atleast let her family and freinds mourn her last rites in peace.

May she rest in peace!

Bollywood actress Sridevi passed away in her hotel room in the Emirates Towers, Dubai at 11pm on Saturday, a source in the Indian Consulate in Dubai revealed.

She reportedly had a fainting spell in her bathroom and was immediately rushed to Rashid Hospital in Dubai. The hotel, however, refused to comment on the matter and an employee stated that it is under police investigation.

Sources in the Indian Consulate stated that she was brought dead to the hospital. "Her mortal remains were handed over to the forensic department," the source added.

Consulate officials confirmed that her body is currently at the police headquarters morgue in Al Qusais and a consulate employee is currently with the family, helping them expedite procedures for repatriation.

Officials at the forensics department confirmed that her body will now be taken to the Muhaisana Medical Centre for embalming, after which it will be repatriated to India on a private jet.

Consul General of India Vipul said, "We are working with the Dubai Police to expedite the procedure to repatriate her body to India."

Indian Ambassador to the UAE Navdeep Singh Suri tweeted his condolences to the family stating, "Absolutely shocked to get the report about the untimely demise of #Sridevi. Conveyed my condolences to the family. Our consulate in Dubai is working with local authorities to provide all possible assistance."

There are certain genetic cardiac conditions like hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM), Brugada syndrome and ARVD which can lead to sudden death and cardiac arrest they are mostly asymptomatic and not associated with any underlying heart conditions the only thing is a positive family history of sudden death can link to it and yes they can happen in younger people as well also it's difficult to diagnose it due to the lack of symptoms only if someone does regular ECGs might be able to detect them. I guess in this case any of these could be the most probable cause of death but let's not dwell on it, it's better to focus our energies towards praying and wishing well for the departed soul and her family. Not everything has to be a conspiracy sometimes it's fate although an autopsy might confirm it but I hope they don't go for it, I'm not in favour of subjecting the body of a deceased to all that butchery in the name of finding the cause as if it's going to bring her back or make it any better let her rest in peace.Edited by Tinkerbelle88 - 6 years ago
