His avatar as the aloof doc is so far removed from his real nature so it is an especially tough act to pull off...as I said in one of my earlier posts, even as the serious doc, his performance has so many nuances...aloof and authoritative at work, affectionate family member at home, serious son to his mom,playful but again dignified with his bhabhi (different from their earlier equation), falling in love with Zobia, arrogant with her but also vulnerable..I can go on and on

Did you guys notice how he pushes Zubiya away every time they start getting close.

Ala, the rain sequence he starts feeling bad for giving her a hard time and after appreciating her hard work he completely shuts down the next day. Or the time he spills out the "Kabhi kabhi dil chahta hai ke raasta khatam na ho," line. Next day he gets mad at her for not giving him the file. (Which he later found neatly placed at his table)

He is so vulnerable. I think I love Asfi much more than I love Ahad. And I love me some Ahad!

Love this drama.. I have started watching it..since one week.. Started it watching from epi 19 after hearing abt asfand zubiya craze. Although i had read the novel..but didnt watch this drama earlier.. But watched it from epi 19, i guess..in last 1 week.. Love it..

Time to rewatch the episodes. Too lazy to translate the novel right now. Sitting at 10000+ words but somehow I don't think I will be able to finish it, like I want to, before the show ends.

1. "...rasta khatam na ho." The way she blushes is pure love!

2. "Mere khayal se mujhe ab chalna chahiye." "Kyon?" and there is like dead silence from her side but the words unspoken carry so much emotion!!

3. Bandage scene. "Handle it carefully Dr. Asfi."

My favourites (tough job but I'll try)

1. The scene in his cabin when Zobia hands him the file, he says baith jayen and she says OPD mein rush hai etc.

Omg these are my three fav scenes too..


1.The famous "Kabhi Kabhi scene", the way he said it so naturally and then suddenly he realizes what he said and then composes himself and says Good Night.. 😆 That was so lovely, Zubi was totally shocked.. I think this is probably the first time Zubi got a hint that he has feelings for her, she saw a different Asfi here..

2. When Gaiti joins the hospital, Zubia comes to his room to give some report, he is looking down doing some work and then she knocks and he looks at the door and that little tinge of happiness seeing her.. That was so lovely, he totally forgets that he has asked fort hose reports, the way he gets flustered when she says it is him who asked for them.. Loved that whole scene, later he keeps on thinking what is happening to him..( I have seen this scene so many times, ❤️it)

3. The garden tea scene, OMG, I can write an essay on that, I believe I have already written about it, 😆😳this is the best scene I believe. Absolutely romantic.. ☺️

I want to add I also loved the bandage scene, the whole "Handle it carefully Dr Asfandyar" Asfi's reaction was just out of the world.. 😆
