When I realized that someone hurt another person's feelings through criticising Lord Krishna's expressions to Satyabhama in another thread, I have written these words there , sharing with you my words there friends .-- Describing a woman's pride as doggish is an unpardonable utterance, and as Janaki rightly mentioned, criticising God without reading scriptures is modern culture for few!
For me God is like a vast sky, an illusory reality, beyond perception and description, so much is there beyond it , so real , ethereal and surreal too !! For few ,sky means the Sun, Moon and Stars , but some prefer to see the void in front of it , clouds and darkness spread over it, different imaginations and different perspectives though all are really not so real, same thing applies to God too !
See the sky , it always sparkles, is precious like a treasure, is everyone's life! Peaceful, beautiful, precious, endless, magnificent, and crystal clear, a view that lets us relax and a world that is silent and peaceful to watch! The vast infinite feeling hovering above us! So soft and clear, it is an endless canvas on which colors are tossed upon just like spiritual beliefs and religious rituals in the case of God !
God too is an ever-changing perception to humans , we'd love to adore him in the form of Nature , like to express some inherent emotions in that particular moment when someone questions our devotion, quite natural,we always love to be attracted towards that supra-human being called God , who teaches us Dharmas, laws of that Yug , in simple words , we brought this "Assurance called God " with us from the mother's womb and will carry that bond with us throughout our life , only names are different !
Ram behaved that way when the human society was yet to develop, he tried to define relationships and values which were in a budding stage then . Then came Krishna into the fully developed society in which love was fully flourished in that free society, resultant was selfishness to own and an urge to dominate others! I feel -- Ved Vyas was so fascinated and amazed by the women power in Dwapar Yug, from Satyavathi who demanded her lover to make her son a king, to Draupadi who fought till the end to regain her self -respect at any cost!
I feel Krishna's Astabharya represents Astavidha Nayikas , in which Satya represents more than one trait, an active participant in Krishna's many pursuits. For me, he has seen immense power , Shakti in women ,like Radha[ in his initial stage] , Satya [ as his queen when he was the ruler ] and then in Draupadi - when he has to judge and pronounce the judgment of right over the wrong, seen in her an important weapon to serve his purpose, i.e , establishing a balanced society on earth !
For me, just like the sky, God is a perennial source for human development, is alive, growing at each passing moment, a constantly changing canvas for the world to see, to learn to evolve and to emulate.
Yes, the sky always consists apart from Sun, Moon Stars, and Lightning, it also consists clouds, thunders, darkness and something more beyond our perception, same as God! It depends on a person's choice to see Him from his choicest angle.
