Not Gunjan, Ishaan Singh Manhas to play Purab in Kumkum_Bhagya?
Replacement for popular role are always a pain. To find someone with the same talent, good looks and the connectivity factor bogs down makers while trying to get a new face to a character.
Seems like this was the case with Purab's role in Kumkum Bhagya.
After the dashing Arjit Taneja decided to opt out of the Balaji Telefilms series on Zee TV, the producers and channel were left in a fix. Trying to hunt down an actor of the same stature to match up his popularity seemed like a difficult task.
And recent reports suggested that the hunt ended on Madhubala fame Gunjan Utreja.
But Tellychakkar.com has been exclusively informed that Gunjan failed to bag the pivotal role. So wondering who is the lucky guy who will play Purab in the loved show?
Well tall and handsome Ishaan Singh Manhas in most probability will be the one.
The actor has earlier entertained us in Ek Mutthi Aasman, Swim Team and more recently Splitsvilla 9.
As per sources, Ishaan will begin shoot soon and his entry will air sometime by end of this month.
We buzzed Ishaan but he remained unavailable to comment.
So will the new Purab add more drama in the track? Will his love life with Alia (Shikha Singh) also get highlighted again?
