Sonali is an Indian beauty, but Ash is a world class beauty than appeals to multiple ethnicities. It is because her beauty blends in seamlessly to western and Indian clothes. The woman was a rage in Cannes and thereafter the west because of it. If western audiences appreciated true Indian beauty, Madhuri would have been the rage not Ash because it was Devdas in Cannes that propelled Ash to the west IMO.
