Star Plus' popular show Mere Angne Mein' got a record high audience on Friday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

The show was watched by a record 184,100 viewers - peaking at 207,900 viewers, followed by Ishqbaaaz' at 21:30 with 153,300 viewers, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' at 19:30 with 152,500 viewers, Diya Aur Baati Hum' at 21:00 with 145,100 viewers and Saathiya' at 19:00 with 135,400 viewers

On Star Plus, Saathiya' was on top with 104,500 viewers, followed by Diya Aur Baati Hum' at 21:00 with 102,000 viewers, Mere Angne Mein' at 18:00 with 97,900 viewers and Suhani Si Ek Ladki' at 18:30 with 96,500 viewers.

According to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com, Mere Angne Mein' at midday - repeat from Monday night's episode pulled in a staggering 113,500 viewers - making it one of the biggest shows ever during daytime telecast on UK Asian television. Later in the evening, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' was the most watched show with 132,700 viewers, followed by Mere Angne Mein' at 18:00 with 131,700 viewers and Diya Aur Baati Hum' at 21:00 with 124,300 viewers. Suhani Si Ek Ladki' at 18:30 pulled in 131,700 viewers and Ishqbaaaz' at 21:30 slipped with 98,000 viewers.

For the last few weeks, we have been hearing news about popular serial, Diya Aur Baati Hum going off air. And seems like, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to impress the audience with their last stint in the show. If our sources are too believed, audience will soon witness a new track in the coming days.
"In the upcoming track, a group of four young terrorists will be making their entries. Actor Vishal Jethwa will be seen playing the role of one of the terrorists named Chota Packet. His name is little funny; but the role will be totally opposite", says a source.
When contacted Vishal Jethwa, he confirmed the news; but refused to divulge any further information. The actor said, "Yes, I am doing Diya Aur Baati Hum, but I cannot reveal anything about my character."
Vishal Jethwa had become famous after playing the role of Badshah Akbar in Maharana Pratap'. He is currently portraying the role of young Shravan in the ongoing show, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste'.

Beyhadh actress Jennifer Winget , Diya Aur Baati Hum actress Deepika Singh, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani's
Drashti Dhami , 24 India Season 2 actress Sakshi Tanwar and Uttaran's Rashmi Desai are part of Swachh Survekshan 2017.

The event held on recently and the actresses Jennifer, Deepika and Drashti were felicitated by Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu, with a special memento, marking their association with the program. They were congratulated for their support and contribution for the promotion of the program.

Posting a picture, Jennifer wrote, "So honoured to be a part of #swachsurvekshan2017 . Let's do our bit to keep our cities clean , our country clean! #MyCleanIndia."
Deepika too posted a picture and wrote, "Happiness is this... #FeelingProud #Excited #Happy #ThankYou #swachhsurvekshan2017."

All the actresses are popular and it is a good way to pass the message of clean India is a good initiative.
According to a report from a leading daily, Swachh Survekshan 2016 survey was conducted in January 2016, rating 73 cities. This year, the prizes was bagged by Mysuru, Chandigarh and Trichy, ranked first, second, and third, respectively.
