Just In: Abhinav Shukla to enter Diya Aur Baati Hum; Supriya Kumari and Priyanka Singh to join

Star Plus' popular show, Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions) will see a major development, and the new track opening up will keep the viewers glued to the TV sets.
Well, entering the show now to spice up proceedings will be the hot and handsome Abhinav Shukla .
Yes, you heard it right!! Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about Ragini Shah aka Maasa coming back to the show. We now hear that Abhinav has been roped in to play Maasa's suave and handsome grand son.
As per reliable sources, "Maasa's family will suffer a huge loss wherein they will see the unfortunate death of Abhinav's wife. And the biggest turning point will be that Emily (Pooja Singh) would be indirectly responsible for the lady's death."
As per the ongoing track, the car in which Emily was traveling met with an accident. And the otherwise soft-spoken and kind Emily has been feeling guilty about it.
Now, her life will go through a sea-change, owing to the accident, is what we hear.
Also entering the show along with Abhinav will be actors Supriya Kumari and Priyanka Singh. Supriya who was last seen in DD1's Anudamini will play a childish character, a girl who is mentally challenged. Priyanka who was last seen in Badii Devrani will play Supriya's younger sister. Both the girls will be Abhinav's siblings, and grand daughters of Maasa.
As per a reliable source, "Maasa will soon be seen entering the Rathi family, with a purpose in mind. She will be accompanied by her two grand daughters and a grand son. The track will draw out lot many hidden skeletons that will shake the Rathi family."
When contacted, Priyanka Singh confirmed the news but refused to share any details.
We could not get through to Abhinav and Supriya though for a confirmation.
We tried buzzing Producer Sumeet Mittal but did not get through to him.

The upcoming episode of Diya Aur Baati Hum will show that Sandhay is completely broken after seeing the video about how Aarzoo saved country while she shot her assuming her terrorist.
Suraj saves Aarzoo's life giving his blood to her but Snadhya is guilt because everyone understanding Aarzoo a terrorist because of her mistake.
Sandhya is not getting any clue to sort out all problems which has created due to her misunderstanding.
Sandhya sees Aarzoo everywhere where Aarzoo ask Sandhya why she did wrong with her.
Suraj tries to console Sandhya over Aarzoo's condition
Sandhya comes back to home and cries badly under shower.

Star Plus show ' Diya Aur Baati Hum' left no stone unturned with its dramatic twists and turns and edgy performance by characters in the ongoing 'India - Pakistan' track. The show has introduced new characters to spike the entertainment quotient a notch higher in every phase of its story-line.
As per the latest development, the makers will now introduce a new family, who will have a past connection with the protagonist of the show - Sandhya played by
Deepika Singh .
Abhinav Shukla , who charmed the audience with his performance with shows like Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Hitler Didi will be seen making a comeback on television post his stint with Survivor India.
Supriya Kumari popularly known as Amoli of Bairi Piya will also be seen essaying the role of his sister, a mentally challenged personality. Her character will give us a glimpse of Bollywood classic film Sadma starring Sridevi.
We contacted Supriya Kumari , who confirmed the news and told us, "Yes, I am a part of the show. However, I cant reveal much about the character as of now."

On Star Plus, Saathiya' registered 140,900 viewers at 19:00, followed by Diya Aur Baati Hum' at 21:00 with 140,300 viewers, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' at 19:30 with 123,400 viewers and Mere Angne Mein' at 18:00 with 100,000 viewers.

Deepika Singh aka Sandhya Rathi of Diya Aur Baati Hum has been quite an exemplary character since five years. While the lady's onscreen histrionics are known by all, fans will be happy to know that Deepika has a heart of gold in real life as well. As per a report in a leading daily, the actress recently helped a junior artiste's wife who was suffering from cancer. She along with her husband, director Rohit Raj Goyal took care of the lady's medical expenses, which included chemotherapy and an operation. The woman is recovering now.
