Star Plus' "Diya Aur Baati Hum" has been in the numero uno position since the show began. It had its ups and downs over the years when fans and audiences didn't like or agree with the track. However, the makers have constantly tried hard to reinvent themselves, which has sometimes failed and at other times done well.
Of course the unwanted controversies the show is courting is also putting "Diya Aur Baati Hum" in a bad light. Last time we told you about the tiff between Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh over inappropriate touching and the slap gate controversy. Well if the rumor mills are right, it seems Rashid is now involved in another controversy.
Recently, the actor got into a tussle with a newbie actor Kunal Khosla. It started off in jest, where Rashid was ragging Khosla. But things got out of hand when Rashid held Khosla by his collar and had a fight with the director and a few others from the production unit over giving too much limelight to non-talented actors, claims a source from the sets.
However, Khosla has stated that it was a small tussle between Rashid and him, but the issue has been sorted. He also claims that the media is making a mountain out of a molehill. Well, we don't know how much of what the newbie actor said was under pressure or genuine, but clearly this is not the first time that Rashid has overstepped his boundaries. Is this insecurity or plain pigheadedness? Guess only you as viewers or someone who knows the whole truth can decide that.
