I don't think there is actually anything that would make someone fall in love. Usually in dramas they show that when a couple does Nikkah, they start developing feelings for each other. Also, not to forget, this was his dads last wish as well.

I can vouch for that, nikah is a very strong bond, provided the girl/boy take it seriously. Arranged marriages is where you go backwards, you marry first and then date, you find out little details about your spouse everyday, it's very exciting.
