'Wali main AJ ke liye green tea banane ja rahi hoon, tumhare liye laoun?' He refuses. She offers to make him tea. He gets annoyed and says, 'Mujhe kuch nahin chahiye, if I need anything is haveli mein bauhat saray mulaazim (servants) hain main unse keh doon ga.' Faraah leaves with a sad face and Wali gives a speculating kind of look when she's gone as if he's trying to figure out her behaviour!
Faraah is in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Arjumand enters and asks her with a pointed face that what she's doing. She gives breakfast menu to the cook and leaves from the kitchen. At breakfast: it's quite a lively discussion going on between Arjumand, Z and Wali. They're talking about Z's engagement preparations. Faraah is feeling cut out and un-needed from the conversation. Z asks her why she's not eating and Wali looks at her.
Wali leaves the table for office. Faraah runs after him and asks, 'Tum mujhe Baba ki qabar pe lle ja sakte ho, mujhe fatihah parhna hai'. He replies, 'Tum Gul Khan ya Behraam ke saath chali jao, mere paas time nahin hai'. She goes back thinking that she deserves this beahviour because of how her attitude had been earlier.
