Actress Mallika Sherawat has apparently auditioned for the role of Aamir Khan's wife in sports movieDangal and she's said on Twitter that 'she'd love to be' in the movie:
Dangal will tell the story of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, played by Aamir, and his daughters Geeta and Babita, currently among India's most celebrated women wrestlers. Names like Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu were being bandied about to play Geeta and Babita Phogat butMumbai Mirror reports that two little known actresses - Fatima Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra - have been cast instead.
We don't know who Mallika's competition is for the role of Mrs Phogat.
She's not the only one who wants to be in the film. Eddie Hall, 'Britain's Strongest Man' and Amitabh Bachchan fan, also wants a role. "I like to be a winner. Meanwhile, 50-year-old Aamir Khan has put on 22 kilos to play Mahavir Phogat. He's also perfecting the Haryanvi accent.
Dangal begins shooting in a month or two.
