I feel like Khalil's mom was older than Farhan Ali Agha and like it happened in the old day got married off because no other proposal. But when Rasheeda Shanu's mom goes to Lahore perhaps she falls in love with Farhan Ali Agha instead of his nephew? Because of that reason she got thrown back to her house and married off to her current husband..

I mean this back story is pretty twisted I don't get it.

They're going to show both past and present stories I believe, hence they picked Farhan Ali Agha and Samia Mumtaz. I think they're important characters.
