CHAPTER 21
When Mayank left the room Samrat smiled and said
"Bhai main is evening ko itna special banunga kit um bhi yaad rakhoge aur mujhe pata hai ki wo dost bhi kaun hai. Apki aur Bhabhi ki ye date superhit hogi."
The next day Mayank was getting ready in his room when shilpa entered, she gave a strange look to him which Mayank chose to ignore but she continued to glare. Finally being saturated with irritation he said
"Maa tum yeh kya kar rahi ho?"
He asked turning towards her.
"kya kuch bhi to nahi bus main todha shocked hoon."
"Shocked?? Wo kyu?"
He asked knitting his brows.
"Ek minute ha."
Saying this she touched his forehead.
"maa ab ye kya kar rahi ho?"
"nahi main dekh rahi hoon teri tabiyat to theek hai. Aj tu itni jaldi uth gaya fir tu kuch zada hi tayyar nahi hua aj?"
Mayank immediately looked at himself through the mirror.
"Nahi to.. tumhe aisa kyu lag raha hai maa?"
"Jo dikh raha hai wo keh rahi hoon. Aur upar se aaj teri ye smile. Maine dekha tujhe tu apne me hi hase ja raha tha."
"Maa tum bhi na humesha bahar se mujhpe spy kyu karti ho. Bohot galat baat hai."
Shilpa caught hold of his ears and said
"Ab apne bte ke room me dekhna galat baat hogyi. Shaadi huyi nahi to yeh haal hai janab ke shaadi ke baad pata nahi kya karega tu."
"aaah..Maa choro.."
Finally releasing himself he said
"Maa tum har baat mein ye shaadi ko kyu le ati ho?"
"main ye shaadi ke taane dena chor dungi agar tu Sach sach bata dega ki aaj teri Nupur ke saath date hai"
She said while winking.
"Maa aisa kuch nahi hai bekar ke assumptions mat karo. Aaj meri bohot important meeting hai mujhe jana hai."
"Haan aur wo important meeting Nupur ke saath hai hain na?"
"Nahi Maa aisa kuch nahi hai please ab tum jao."
He said while almost dragging her out of the room.
"Yaad rakhungi main ye bacchu."
"Haan zarur yaad rakhna."
On entering his room he heaved a sigh of relief and said
"Ye Maa sab kuch kaise jaan jaati hai."
On the other hand Nupur was also getting ready when gunjan entered the room.
"Oho di aj to kya lag rahi ho?"
She said while holding her from her back and looking at her through the mirror.
Nupur blushed at the comment and Gunjan continued
"aj jiju ke saath date hai kya?"
"aisa kuchg nahi hai"
Nupur said while jerking Gunjan's hand.
"Acha to last exam ki khushi me?"
"Zada zor mat dhalo dimag me aur mujhe jaane do.late ho raha hai."
Nupur said while taking her bag and reaching the door.
"Di job hi keh lo aise baatein chupti nahi.."
Hearing this Nupur got irritated and banged the door and left immediately.
Both Mayank and Nupur reached their destinations. Nupur was tensed about the exam as well as meeting him in the evening.
Mayank imh his cabin was tensed as well when samrat entered
"Bhai.."
Seeing him Myanak almost sprang up from his seat in excitement
"tu agaya?sab tayyari hogyi?"
"Relax bhai..ap mujhe koi kaam de aur wo adha hi chut jaye aisa to ho nahi sakta bas ab ap aram kare maine sab tayyari kar li.."
Samrat said while sitting on the chair,
"Acha to ab mujhe bata de saari tayyari ke bare me."
"Wo Bhai main soch raha tha.."
"please tu mat socha kar plan bata"
"bhai maine apke liye bhi is eek surprise rakhne ka socha hai..ap bus mere message kiye huye jagah par bhabhi ko le k pohnch jana hai ..gifts aur sab ki y\tayyari kar li hai maine amd you must start with the bouquet jo maine apki car me rakh di hai."
Mayank got a bit startled because he told samrat about his friend and not himself and therefore he spoke whle trembling
"Tujhse kisne keh dia ki ye meri date hai maine kaha than a tujhse ki mere friend ke liye sab plan karma hai.'
Samrat while getting up from his seat spoke
"Bhai mujhe pata hai sab aur waise bhi mujhse kya sharman main kisi ko nahi nbataunga."
Saying this he winked and left the room.
"ye maa aur samrat dono ek jaise hai."
Mayank today reached the exam centre early and was waiting for her in the car while being both nervous and excited. He kept glancing at the gate and his watch and soon his eyes fell on her and he seemed mesmerized. He kept looking at her for a while and when he founmd that she was upset not seeing him there he immediately drove the car in front of her and on stopping he got down of the car and seeing him he noticed a change of expression on Nupur's face.
She smiled on seeing him and immediately Mayank opened the door for her and made her sit and he began driving.
There was a strange silence. Though whenever they met thgey experienced this but today there was something different. There was nervousness,excitement,happiness of seeing each other and a bit of disappointment because it was their last meeting before the marriage.
Finally Nupur spoke on seeing the flowers
"Oh wow kitne khoobsurat flowers hai..kis ke liye hai?"
She asked while taking them in her hand and smiling.
"Kisi ke liye hai nahi kisine diye hai.."
He said while teasing her.
"Oh acha kisne diye diye?"
She asked with a changed tone.
"Wo jo meri secretary hai na. usi ne diye hai. USki chice kaafi achi hai.hai na?"
"Haan hai to achi.par ye flowers kis occassion pe diye hai usne?"
Nupur asked while getting irriated and keeping the bouquet roughly,
"Kyu bina occasion ke wo mujhe flowers nahi de sakti..wo humesha deti hai mujhe flowers."
"Aur tum le lete ho?"
She asked promptly.
"Haan actually wahi main soch raha tha ki wo hamesha mujhe flowers chocolates aur kuch na kuch deti hai mujhe bhi use kuch dena chahye hai na..any suggestions?"
He asked while suppressing his smile knowing how irritated she was.
"Ek kaam karo mujhe yaha chor do aur use apne saath ek date par le jao aur ek ring de dena aur shaadi bhi usi se kar lena. Yehi uske liye sab se bada gift hoga."
"Nahi mujhe to use bas ek return gift dena hai. Otherwise shaadi to main sirf ek hi ladki se karunga jisse main sabse se zada pyar karta hoon."
He said while looking in her eyes and stopping the car as they had reached their destination,
"acha kisse?"
She asked while looking into his eyes.
"Wahi jo mere paas baithi hai aur jiski jagah koi nai le sakte aur jiske liye main ye flowers laya hoon."
He handed it overv to her while looking into her eyes Nupur blushed on hearing it and while blushing and with trembling hands she took the flowers.
Mayank took a deep audible breath and said
"Chalo kuch surprises hai tumhare liye."
Nupur followed him and after a long walk in the beech they reached the beautiful restaurant which was booked just for them and a soft was being played. They both sat in the very awkward situation and after ordering the food and after having eaten the food with abit of talks about their normal living. In the midst of all this things took a serious turn and Mayank
Caught hold of her hand and spoke
"Nupur.."
Even after hearing him she kept looking down as she was nervous like never before
"maine kabhi socha nahi tha ki main ye tumse ya aur kisi se kabhi kahunga but Nupur main..main tum se pyaar karne laga hoon. I love You Nupur. I hope tum mujhe trust kar sakogi agr pyaar nahi I know ye bohot jaldi hai but I really love you.
She immediately looked at him and finally spoke
"Mayannk main iss sab se pehle tumhe kuch batana chahti hoon."
