CHAPTER 13
"Wo Nupur. Actually..baat.."
He said while fumbling because he was himself not aware of the fact why he behaved in such a way.
"Acha..main samjh gayi baat kya hai."
"Kya samjhi?"
he shouted feeling like a theif.
"Yehi ki.."
"Ki kya?"
He asked while being impatient.
"Haan haan bolo." "Yehi ki tumhari koi meeting hai aur humari bakwas mein tumhara time waste ho raha tha. Par Mayank tum bol bhi sakte the na." Mayank first heaved a sigh of relief and then spoke "Aisi koi baat nahi hai. Chalo chalte hai."he said before she could ask further questions.Mayank opened the door for her and let her in. It was a long drive Mayank knew still he kept the drive slow so that he could spend this time with her.
Nupur was looking out but decided to bring up a conversation. She turned towards him and said
"Hmm..bolo."
He said while focusing on driving.
"Oh I am extremely sorry Nupur. In chakaro me main yeh puchna to bhool hi gaya."
"Its ok Mayank."
She waited for him to answer but all he did was smile
.
She again turned towards the window as she could not bring up a conversation.
Suddenly Mayank's phone rang which made Nupur turn towards him.
"Haan Ma. Nupur mere sath hai..arre nahi bhula main tabhi to hai wo mere sath..jhoot? Jhoot kyun bolunga main?"
This is what Nupur could hear . But only one side of the conversation made her crazy. She was laughing her lungs out.
"Dekho has rahi hai Nupur Ma tum aise sawal karti hi kyu ho batao? Nahi Ma main late nahi tha Nupur ko wait nahi karna pada..."
And the talk continued driving Nupur crazy.
"Ma ab meri jaan le lo theek hai. Uff Ma main drive kar raha hoon ghar akar baat karenge."
Nupur had suppressed her laughter to an extent so that she could not be heard on the other side of the phone but as soon as Mayank kept the phone she had burst into laughter. Making Mayank a bit angry. He looked at her giving her the IT-WASNT-THAT-FUNNY look.
She became quiet for a while after seeing him giving that kinda look but soon she again burst into laughter not able to control herself. Mayank stopped the car on the side of the road and started staring.
"By God Mayank shaadi ke baad ghar me mujhe to free ka full entertainment milne wala hai ab movies bhi dekhne ki zarorat nahi paregi mujhe to. Bas ab to main Sharma house mein jane ka aur wait nahi kar sakti."
Soon after saying the last line she realised what she had said She felt she had gone too far on this and therefore she suddenly lost her smile and started blushing.
Mayank smiled his heart out after hearing her last line. He looked at her with all love he could shower on her.
"Is reason se wait nahi kar sakti ya kisi aur reason se?"
Mayank asked in softest tone he could.
Nupur closed her eyes on hearing it and she had no answer to it so she started looking here and there just to avoid the question and the gaze.
While looking out her eyes fell on something.
Mayank panicked on hearing her shout that way.
"Kya hua main yahi hoon."
Mayank please chalo na.."
she said while opening her seat belt.
"Haan chalo but kahan ye to batao."
he said in confusion.
By the time he had completed his words Nupur had barged out of the car.
He at once came out of the car after closing the doors and the windows.
As he came out he could see where she had headed.
"Mayank ao na."
she shouted.
Mayank went to her as soon as he could and stood next her.
"Nupur tumne mujhe to dara diya tha pani puri ke liye itna panic kiya tumne. "
He said while glaring.
"Its ok Mayank chalo na khate."
"Dekho Nupur tumhe bhook lagi hai to hum kisi restaurant me chalte hai.."
"Nahi mujhe pani puri hi khani hai."
"Nupur dekho aise bhi khali pet me koi pani puri nahi khate."
Oh ho Mayank tum bhi na bilkul buddho ki tarah baat kar rahe ho."
"Dekho Mayank agr main kuch kahungi to yehi kahungi warna chalo."
He smiled at her childish behaviour and his smile was a green signal Nupur knew so she smiled back.
"Par mainn nahi kahuanga."
When he said that she had already taken her plate and was about to have the first one. She first thought to throw it but she was too tempted to commit such a crime.After gulping it she glared at him and said
"By god Mayank bohot nakhre hai tumhare."
she said while gettng irritated.
mayank just galred at her and was looking away when
she came towards him and put one puri in his mouth forcefully.
Mayank was stunned at the behaviour while Nupur made a cute face to defend herself.
"abhi maine bas tumhe thoda hi jana to itna kuch disclose hua hai tumhare bare main age age pata nahi kya hoga."
"Jo hoga so dekha jaye abhi tum ek aur kaho."
Saying this she put another one in his mouth and started laughing.
After having a nice treat of apni puri both Mayank and Nupur headed towards the car, the sun had started setting and the atmosphere had a certain amount of coziness wich both of them enjoyed. A soft music was being played in the car. The slow song and the slow speed of the car give a soothing feeling to them.
Nupur looked at Mayank sitting next to her. She felt really comfortable and protected with him. She smiled seeing him mayank too looked at her as he felt her gaze. Seeing her smile he automatically started smiling.
THe sun had set and thats when they reached Nupur's house.
"Mayank ander chalo ma tumhe dekh ke khush hogi."
"Nahi Nupur phir kabhi mujhe Office me todha kaam hai."
she got out of the car saying "Bye mayank."
He felt a little down as he dint want her to go but he knew this would happen so he took a deep breath.
He stood there till the time she went inside the house just to be satisfied that she ahd reached safely.

I KNOW ITS A SMALL UPDATE. I HAD NO PLANS TO UPDATE TODAY BUT SINCE I WAS DOING SOMETHING ON THE LAPPY AND HAD SOMETHING SUFFICIENT WRITTEN. I UPDATED A PART.
