Nupur looked around the room and said.

Everything was so well placed in perfect order. The paint and everything was so elegant and so pleasent.She was looking at the

"Ha mera hi hai. Bohot boring hai i know shaadi ke baad.." Mayank stopped in between when he realised what he was talking about.

Nupur gave a slight smile to herself when she heard him he talk about marriage,their marriage. Nupur thought to tease him as she knew how shy he was. Even though Nupur was shy but she believed she was slightly better than him.

"Shaadi ke bad kya?"

Nupur said while looking in his eyes and suppressing her smile.

"Kuch nahi."

Mayank said while being shocked at her behaviour

He never expected her to be that bold.

"Nahi kuch to keh rahe the tum"

Nupur said whilelooking at him eagerly which had put Mayank in a kind of a shock. He stood there as still as a log. Nupur had well noticed it and therefore shook him with her hands.

"Haan wo..main keh raha tha ki shaadi ke bad tum changes la sakti ho."

saying this he had immediately put his head down. Nupur was in awe of him. He was too gentle and sweet according to her. She kept staring at him until he had lifted his head feeling too heavy because of the intense gaze.

Nupur immediately became alert and started looking down. Just to lighten up the atmosphere

"Nupur Preparations kaisi chal rahi hai?"

saying this he signalled her to have a seat. Nupur sat on the couch and said

"chal to achi hi rahi hai but i am nervous?"

"Nervous?Seriously? You are joking, arent you?"

Mayank asked her while being surprised.

"Mayank ofcourse i am not joking. Pata nahi papers kaise jayenge."

"Kya kaise ache hi jayenge."

He said confidently.

"Tumhe kaise pata."

"Bas pata hai"

Saying this he closed his eyes to affirm her.

Nupur just smiled and blushed. Mayank saw it and decided to talk more.

But before he could start he started coughing badly. Nupur started panicking and started looking for water in the room. Mayank showed her the place where it was kept. Nupur rushed towards it and filled a glass from the jar and gave it to him. After drinking the water mayank found relief but was breathing heavily because of it. Nupur found the situation very difficult. She couldnt see his pain although it wasnt a serious thing she knew but she had become very worried and lines of tension filled her face. Mayank saw it and felt really bad

"Nupur ye tension ki koi baat nahi hai. Tum itna tensed kyu hogayi ho?"

"Mayank kisi bhi apne ko takleef me dekh kar tension na ho aisa ho sakta hai kya?"

Mayank looked at her very intensely when she spoke these words

Nupur also started looking in his eyes.

They shared a passionate eye lock. Those innocent eyes were lost in each other with a sweet smile on ther faces.

Mayank again started coughing slightly which broke the eye lock and Nupur again became worried. Nupur kept her hand on his back and massaged him a bit in order to relax him.

Which was seen by both Samrat and Gunjan who were standing near the gate about which both Nupur and Mayank were unaware.

Mayank looked at her and smiled and took a few steps towards her who was standing next to him and whispered in her ears with just an inch difference between them

"Thank you Nupur."

Nupur immediately turned away and wanted to walk away because of the rapidness of her heartbeat. His hot breath could be felt on her ear and neck which gave her tickles. Her nerves weren't giving her the courage to stand there.

Nupur had taken a few steps when Mayank caught hold of her hand and stopped her. Nupur imnediately closed her eyes and got all more nervous. Mayank realised what he had done. He knew he had put himself in a weird situation. He immediately left her hand.

Nupur simply ran with a smile playing on her lips and carrying nervousness. Mayank stood there with confusion. He felt he had made her sad. He too decided to leave the room. Nupur reached the living area where everyone was sitting. Seeing her everyone smiled and asked for others. Nupur dint know what to say but somehow she managed an excuse.

"Wo main kuch dekh rahi thi aur peeche chut gai aur sab.."

"aur sab tumhe chor kar chale gaye uff ye Samrat aur Mayank bhi na"

Shilpa said while being annoyed.

By the time Shilpa had completed her words Mayank had entered. Shilpa glared at him and Mayank just caught his ears asking for forgiveness which made Shilpa melt.

Nupur saw this scene and found it really cute. She kept looking at Mayank until he sat on the opposite sofa.

Mayank and Nupur were looking at each other. Mayank's eyes were seeking an answer he wanted to know if Nupur was upset with his behaviour. And if so,then he wanted to tell her it wasnt intentional. But Nupur's eyes showed some mixed feelings which Mayank could read.

Samrat and Gunjan who just had taken a seat next to them were enjoying the scene. They dint want to disturb them and were just sharing looks with each other to show their happiness.

Mayank finally shook his head a bit in order to ask her whats wrong. Nupur found it weird because for her nothing was wrong. She just shook her head negatively and smiled. Mayank was still in doubt but was a bit relaxed.

He had never dealt with a girl before and he dint know if it was would upset her. He dint want to catch her hand but it was all spontaneous because he dint want her to go. Nupur on the other hand felt really strange when he touched her a feeling which gave her shivers.

But she dint feel bad at all. There was silence

which was suddemly broken by Shilpa

"To dinner ke liyen chale?"

"Han zarur"

Geeta said.

After which all of them got up and left.

All of them took a seat in the dining table. The food was being brought when Nupur's phone rang. Nupur found it really embarressing and was about to cut the call when Shilpa stopped her

"Beta utha lo kya pata koi zaruri kaam ho?"

"Nahi main ghar ja kar.."

"Its ok tum ja kar bat kar lo..koi bura nahi manega"

Shilpa affirmed her.

Nupur excusing her self attended the call.

It was Dia on the other side.

"Hello."

"Ha Dia bolo."

"I hope maine disturb nahi kia hai but kaam thoda zaruri tha." "Haan kaho."

"Tumhe exam centre ke bare me pata chala?"

"Nahi main kal jane wali hoon college."

"Tumhara exam centre to mere centre se alag pada hai aur wo bhi kaafi dur."

"Kya?"

"Haan tumhara centre Victoria college hai."

"Wo to kaafi dur hai."

Nupur said in disappointment.

"Haan."

"Acha thanks for the news."

"Its ok dear.Bye"

"Bye"

Nupur kept the phone in complete disappointment and moved towards the dining area where everyone was waiting for her.

"I am sorry."

apologizing Nupur sat on the chair.

"Its ok beta."

Shilpa said noticing the tension on her face.

Nupur just weakly smiled and after serving herself started eating. There was complete silence during the dinner.

After the dinner was over all of them moved towards the living area.Mayank could see the change of expressions from the time she left for the call and after she came back. He wanted to talk to her but could not.

Shilpa could still notice tension on her face so she finally decided to ask

"Nupur beta sab theek hai na?"

"Haan Aunty."

Nupur said while trying to hide things.

"Nupur kiska calk tha beta?"

Geeta asked.

"Maa wo Dia ka call tha."

"Kya kaha usne jo tu itne tension me dikh rahi hai?"

"Maa wo actually mera exam centre Victoria college me pada hai jo kaafi dur hai aur aj hi mere driver ne to chutti le li hai."

"To papa chor ayenge beta itna tension kyu?"

"Chor to main aunga but layega kaun?Geeta tumhe yaad nahi humara naya project start ho raha hai jis ke wajah se mujhe ane me dair hogi."

Nupur's father spoke in between.

"Dad main khud hi ajaungi. "

"Nahi main driver ki chutti cancel karta hoon use bula leta hoon."

"Are ap log itni tension kyu le rahe hai Mayank hai na wo le ayega."

Shilpa spoke in between.

"Main?"

Mayank said in surprise.

"Haan tum."

Shilpa said looking at him sternly

"Nahi Mayank already itna busy rehta hai aur uska office bhi itna samne hai itni dur kyu jagayega main kuch karta hoon."

Nupur's dad said while trying not to trouble them.

"Nahi Mayank ko koi dikkat nahi hogi bas ab baat taay hai Mayank hi le ayega Nupur ko.. Theek hai na Nupur?"

Ashok asked her sweetly.

Nupur nodded her head and smiled. Mayank felt as if he is a prisoner and his punishment is being decided. Soon after a bit chatting the Bhushan family left. The Sharmas were entering the house when something struck Mayank's mind.

He saw his mother's phone kept on the table and seeing that she isn't there he took it and was about to so something when shilpa came back from the kitchen for something

"Kya hua Mayu?Mera phone me kya kar raha hai tu"

she said with confusion seeing him with her phone that too in a theif like manner.

"maa wo actually main...main.."

He said while fumbling.

"Main main kya kar raha hai bol jaldi"

"Maa wo Nupur..actually.."

"saf saf bol."

"maa wo Nupur ka..."

Seeing him fumbling she began to understand the things.

"Kya chahiye?"

"Maa wo.."

"Ye Ma wo Ma wo karta raha na to kuch nahi milega pagal. "

"Ma please."

"number chahiye na?"

Mayank's face became like a theif .

"Nahi toh."

He said immediately.

"Teri Ma hoon main bacchu mujhse jhut nahi bol sakta.Nupur ka number le raha tha na?"

Mayank coudlnt help but smile because he was caught.

"haaye le le..teri ye hasi ke liye kuch bhi."

Saying this she left.

"Ye Maa ko sab pata kaise chal jata hai."

Saying this he smiled to himself in the most sheepish way he could.
