v - "Jeevika where are you?"j - "In my closet"
Viren walked inside her closet to see her packing her bags. Viren could finally see Jeevika happy. Though she seemed stressed with all the packing left he knew it was a good stress.
v - "Did you take your medicine love?"
j - "Oh I forgot" she said making that innocent don't kill me look.
Viren with his angry face went back outside to their room and got her medicine and her water bottle. He went back inside handing it to her not saying a word. She took it without making him more pissed. She handed the water bottle back to him with a guilty smile.
j - "You know I can't stand it when you give me the silent treatment. It breaks my heart" 😭
v - "And it breaks mine when you do foolish things" he said siting on the ground next to her.
j - "Are you done packing?" she said side hugging him
v - "Me and packing? Your my wife so you have to do mine"
Jeevika broke the hug and now gave him the death look.
j - "You have got to be kidding me? You haven't packed a thing yet?"
v - "Nope" 😆
j - "You will be the death of me" she said getting up about to go into his closet.
Viren in a very film way caught her wrist and pulled her down. Jeevika fell right into his lap with her lips barely centimeters away from his. Jeevika had little butterflies in her stomach. Three months into their marriage, but he still had the charm to make her blush. He still made her feel like the queen of his world. And he still kissed her as passionately as he did like on the day of their wedding. All that love, all these gestures made Jeevika take a sigh of relief like her world was going to be okay. Her future was safe as long as she had him. Viren kissed her till he felt she needed her space. Little did he know that Jeevika felt on top of the world when he kissed her. It was just one of those moments when a girl goes into her fairtytale. She with her prince charming, their eyes closed, bodies near, lips pressing against each other, and the foot popping but of course it couldn't right now since she was in his lap ❤️.
j - "I love you. Thanks for coming with me. I would have been so lonely without you"
v - "You don't have to say thank you for the hundredth time. You don't think I want to go with you? Trust me I need a break too"
j - "I know, but I feel bad for Veera. I'm taking you away from her"
v - "It's okay I've made some arrangements" he said with a smirk'
j - "What arrangements?" she asked a little surprised looking at his face
v - "You will see in a bit. Come on now stop making out with me and get ready. We have a flight to catch tonight and lots of things to get done before that"
j - "But I don't want to stop. I feel good right here" she said placing her head on his shoulder.
v - "We have the whole flight to cuddle and make out" he said naughtily
j - "You think I will kiss you in front of other people traveling? Have you lost it?"
v - "We will put a blanket over our heads and kiss.. Sounds quite romantic don't you think?" 😆
j - "Viren you're an idiot sometimes"
v - "We'll see tonight. You will do it yourself"
j - "We will see. I'm so tired right now. I don't feel like doing anything right now"
v - "Don't. I will do it"
j - "I have to reply to work mail, finish packing, and make a few phone calls also"
v - "I'll help you pack then you can finish the rest. We need to get to the hospital in two hours max"
j - "Whose dropping us to the airport?"
v - "Virat. Okay lets get up and finish all this work"
Jeevika got up and looked through her closet trying to see if she needed anything else. She heard her phone ringing so she went back out to her room. It was Veera's phone call. She instantly picked up hoping she was alright.
j - "Veera? Are you okay?"
vr - "Bhabhi have you talked to Armaan lately?"
j - "Nope. I just saw him like three days ago when I had come home from the hospital. He came home with us and haven't seen or talked to him since. Why?"
vr - "I don't know. I'm just" she said in panicky tone.
j - "Veera take a deep breath and tell me what happened. Did you guys fight or something?"
vr - "I don't know why he's acting so strange. Like he came to meet me once yesterday and was going to come today but he texted me saying he's busy. He hasn't been talking to me properly either. I'm so frustrated right now. I didn't do anything or I hope I didn't at least"
j - "Okay let me try to get a hold of him. You just calm down okay"
vr - "You think he left me? Maybe he doesn't love me anymore. Who would want to love someone with cancer anyways"
j - "Veera stop thinking like that. He's been with you since the first day. He won't leave you like this. That I can guarantee"
vr - "No I think he is leaving me" she said ending the call. She felt broken now. Armaan was not being the same and now Viren was going too. This was worst than having cancer even for her and Jeevika knew how she must have been feeling.
Jeevika walked out the room to Viren's office.
j - "Viren"
v - "Yeah" he said not paying attention to her as he was looking at their fight schedule
j - "Have you talked to Armaan?"
v - "Why?"
j - "Because Veera is worried right now"
Viren looked at Jeevika getting concerned now.
v - "What happened?"
j - "She said that he hasn't been really talking to her properly. And he's behaving really strange. She's going crazy crying right now"
v - "Oh gosh. This is not the way it was supposed to happen"
j - "Happen? What? What's going on can you please tell me"
v - "You'll find out in a bit. Come on just quickly get ready and finish your stuff. We'll leave for the hospital"
j - "But Viren what about Veera"
v - "Don't worry. Everything will be fine"
j - "Viren seriously I need to know whats going on right now" she said getting anxious. She was getting more stressed by the second and was starting to feel dizzy. Viren quickly got up from his seat and caught her before she could fall. He placed her on the table making sure she was okay.
v - "Jeevika are you okay?"
j - "Yeah" she said breathing heavily.
v - "Don't worry. Please just stop stressing. Trust me everything is under control. You believe me right?"
j - "Yeah I do, but I'm getting scared. I don't know why I'm starting to get panic attacks now" she said covering her face up with her hands.
v - "Okay you need to take it easy. Just think about yourself right now. Why don't you go take a shower. I'll take our bags downstairs and put them in the trunk"
j - "Okay" she said getting up from the table
Jeevika went to shower while Viren took their bags downstairs. He made sure he finished everything on his list of to-do's. He went back upstairs to check on Jeevika. She was all changed in her jeans and sweatshirt. She was packing her handbag with her medicines and placing her wallet and her and Viren's passports in her purse.
v - "Ready to go love?"
j - "I think so. I just got to send a few emails. My head is spinning though.. I'll do it later at the airport"
v - "Okay, I'll just go change really quickly. You go downstairs and eat something. I placed some food on the table"
j - "Viren you sure Armaan is okay? I mean we shouldn't go to India. Veera is really going through a tough time"
v - "My goodness Jeevika. Do you not trust me?"
j - "I'm just worried. No one is saying anything"
v - "Just wait a bit and you will see"
j - "Viren"
v - "You really have no patience do you?"
j - "Fine. I'm going down. Come fast"
Viren smiled that she finally agreed. She went downstairs and ate a little bit of food. She was least interested though. She just sat in the kitchen waiting for Viren to come down.
v - "Okay let's go. You need anything else now?"
j - "Nope, ready to go"
v - "Say bye to our house for the next one month" 😆
j - "You're not funny. Let's go now"
v - "Jeez lets get you a chill pill"
j - "I'm taking enough pills thank you very much"
v - "Maybe a few more so you stop getting these panic attacks now"
j - "I can't control it. Now stop talking about me and get driving"
v - "Yes mam" 😛
Viren started the car and drove to the hospital. It was starting to rain as soon as they got onto the freeway. The freeway was getting jammed now and the car barely moving. Viren just drove away, but couldn't stop from looking at Jeevika.
v - "Why are you panicking now?"
j - "I'm not panicking"
v - "It's raining outside and you have sweat on your face. Whats wrong?"
j - "Nothing"
v - "This traffic irritating you"
j - A little"
v - "We'll get to the hospital soon"
j - "Okay" she said closing her eyes for a bit.
It took Viren another 25 minutes to reach the hospital and Jeevika was already asleep. He was glad she took a nap otherwise she would have been more annoyed and freaked out.
v - "Jeevs we're here"
j - "Hmm. Let's go" she said getting out the car.
The two of them walked hand in hand together to Veera's room. Vanshika was sitting on the bed with Veera in her lap. Veera was in bad shape. Armaan was nowhere to be found and her brother was leaving her today too. Jeevika started panicking again seeing her that way.
v - "Veera?"
Veera opened her eyes to see Viren and Jeevika standing near her bed. She got up from her mom's lap and Viren took a step closer. She hugged her brother not wanting to let him go or share him with anyone as of now.
v - "Why is my sister crying?"
Veera just cried on him more and then Viren glanced at Jeevika who was starting to cry quietly too now. He laughed to himself at how these two girls ruined and made his life at the same time. He dragged Jevika close to him too and then both his girl were crying on Viren.
v - "I didn't know I was so important for both of you guys" he said trying to lighten up the mood. 🤣
He just hugged the two tighter trying to get them to calm them down. His sweatshirt was all wet now. He felt a little bad they both were crying, but little did they know what was about to come up and happen now. He couldn't stop laughing now.
v - "Seriously how much are you two going to be crying. And what are you guys crying over?"
Both of them still hugged him and didn't let go. He was feeling quite ecstatic. Instead of the normal routine and making fun of him, they both were clinging onto him. Only if everyday was like this.
v - "Okay seriously you two girls stop crying now. There's nothing to cry about. Veera come on lets get you on a wheelchair"
vr - "Bhai please I don't want to anywhere right now. Anyways you're leaving me. Just please stay here with me till you have to leave for the airport"
v - "Trust me you want to come with me"
vr - "But"
v - "Can you shut up and listen to me please?"
vr - "Fine but keep the attitude to yourself. You're leaving me and on top of that this behavior" she said still crying softly
Viren helped Veera up while Jeevika wiped her tears.
vnsk - "Here Veera go change into these jeans and sweater"
vr - "Maa I'm tired. And where are we going?"
v - "Just do as you're told please"
Veera listened and only because Viren said please 😆
She went inside the bathroom to change while Viren held onto Jeevika. Veera came out after a few minutes. Viren felt a little bad seeing her. She was already so thin and now all her clothes were loose on her. She had become worst than a stick. He helped her sit down on the wheelchair. The nurse came into Veera's room and was smiling at her too. She removed her drip so she wouldn't have to move around with a needle in her body.
vr - "Can someone tell me what is going on? I'm getting scared"
v - "Keep calm and carry on"
vr - "What do you think of yourself? You're not like 20 to be talking like that. Act your age"
v - "I miss the Veera who was hugging me and crying for me"
vr - "you're annoying"
v - "Before I get annoyed lets take you out"
Viren started moving the wheelchair outside while Jeevika and Vanshika just followed him. He went through the back of the hospital. Behind the hospital there was a little garden with a covered patio. There wasn't really anyone there today since it was raining. The view was looking so amazing because of the rain. The flowers all pretty and the sky all cloudy. Near the patio there was someone who they could spot. That someone started walking closer to the four of them. Oh wait now it was 6. Virat and Manvi had just come from the side. Veera had no idea what was going on right now.
vr - "Bhai, I'm scared"
As that "someone" came closer the six of them saw Armaan. He was trembling of nervousness right now. Veera was just getting irritated seeing him. She was bracing herself for him breaking up with her. She knew it was the end of their relationship. No one could be this strong to handle a girl with cancer. A girl who didn't have much chance of living. He had to move on one day and he was going to do it now.
vr - "I can't deal with you right now. I know you're leaving me so just go. I don't want to hear or see anything now. Bhai please take me away from here"
v - "I didn't bring you here to take you away stupid. Why don't you two go talk it out for a bit"
vr - "Why so I can get more hurt? You think I need more pain right now? Please just let me go back to my jail"
viren and virat - "VEERA GO"
Armaan helped her up and by then the whole family left from there.
vr - "Armaan please"
a - "Veera just hear me out once"
vr - "Its' fine I understand you can't deal with me. I'm gonna die anyways soon so whats the point of being with me. Yeah I know its better you move on in your life anyways. But please spare me right now. I need my space please Armaan"
a - "Your space is my space"
vr - "Then why are you leaving me?" she said beginning to get emotional again'
a - "Who in the world told you I'm leaving you?"
vr - "You've been ignoring me, not talking to me properly, don't come and meet me"
a - "Yeah because I was nervous"
vr - "Nervous of me dying"
a - "I swear if you bring that up even once more I will leave you for sure"
vr - "So what you were second-guessing yourself on leaving me? Well go ahead. It makes sense you and bhai planned this out. You are tired of being in a relationship with a vegetable like me and bhai well we all know how he hates the fact that I have a boyfriend. Both of you made a mutual agreement and are putting me through hell so congratulations"
a - "Have I ever told you that you talk a lot?"
vr - "Yeah well after today you won't hear me or see me again" she said trying to walk away from him.
a - "Veera I love you" he moved in front of Veera know. Both of them were standing at is while colored patio and the rain was now pouring again. It was just like a typical scene from a movie.
vr - "If you love me then why"
a - "Will you marry me Veera?" he said getting down on one knee'
Veera looked at him and the ring in his hand. Ten minutes ago she was getting ready for the break-up and now here he was asking to get married.
a - "I promise I'll love you forever. I will never leave you no matter what. Just promise to be mine"
Veera's face was red and her eyes sore now. She wanted to cry her heart out now. She nodded yes wiping her tears while he put the ring on her finger. She hugged him tightly and he pressed onto her as hardly.
vr - "I didn't know you love me this much"
a - "You think I'd let go of you after everything that happened" he said breaking the hug.
Veera brought her face close to his and he made the first move. He kissed her while she spread her arms around his back. They hadn't felt this close in so long. Neither had they kissed like this for so long. And before they knew it they were interrupted by coughs by the whole Vadhera clan who were standing with umbrellas now smiling at the two. Veera broke away from Armaan and smiled at her whole family. She was proud of her brother for growing up 🤣 They all ran to the new couple giving them hugs and kisses.
j - "Congratulations you two. I can't believe Viren you allowed your sister to get engaged at 18. Quite proud of you"
vr - "This was the least expected. I mean how did you agree?"
v - "Well the past three months we went through a lot ourselves and well Armaan never left your side. So before I went to India I decided to get this burden of you of my chest. Now you are his responsibility not mine" he said with an evil laugh
vr - "But engaged. I mean I can't believe I'm engaged"
v - "You're engaged, not married so you still need to be in your limits understand" he said with the big brother tone again
vr - "Here we go again. Can you let me enjoy my moment please?"
v - "Sorry and Congrats" he said hugging his sister again.
m - "Veera I'm so happy for you. Armaan is a smart guy he made you his now only. Look at your other dufus brother Virat. Still waiting for that day"
virat - "Too much pressure on me to take your responsibility" he said jokingly'. "Hatts off to Armaan. I should learn something from him"
The whole clan had a happy moment with each other. Finally there were smiles across their faces and joy filled in their heart.
j - "Achewww" Jeevika sneezed
The whole family looked at Jeevika know.
v - "Great you're getting sick now and that too right before our flight. Come on lets all go inside now before anyone else gets sick"
vr - "Bhai can you go. We'll come in five minutes"
v - "Okay, come fast"
Viren tightly took Jeevika's hand and opened the umbrella again walking her back inside the hospital.
v - "Let's go get you some tea fast and some medication for your new uninvited sickness"
j - "It's not my fault. You're stupid"
v - "These drugs are really making you hallucinate. You sometimes have no idea what you're saying or what you're doing"
j - "Suck it up. I'm your wife. You can't do anything about that"
v - "I know I can't. Too late now"
j - "VIRENNN. Don't annoy me"
v - "Why my wifey is getting irritated?"
j - "Very much" she said angrily
v - "I love you"
j - "I love you the most"
