The next day morning...Sharon's sleep was disturbed by myriad of birds twittering in the sky..the sound reminded her of alarm clock...she felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around her tightly and also felt something soft on her cheek...his hair!!! His soft silky hair was rubbing against her cheek...a smile crept on her face...but the sun-light was irritating her...she thought maybe they are sleeping on the top deck of the cruise...she stretched her legs a little to move but she couldn't and so she got up and then...
"AAAhhh...SWAAAYAAAMMM...ah aha ahaaa" she literally squeaked and screamed like a banshee.
Swayam got up startled and looking here and there said "Huh...Kya hua kya hua..."
And he too joined the screaming and squeaking club.
"AAAhhh WHERE THE HELL ARE WE...AND WHERE IS THE CRUISE...????"
Seeing the sight Sharon had literally gone mad and was behaving like a lunatic...but Swayam on the other hand was composed and maintained his cool.
"SWAYAM...SAY SOMETHING...OH NO...ARE YOU STILL DRUNK...OH GOD...WHAT DO I DO NOW...?"
She came near him and holding his shoulders she literally shook him up "Swayam...arghhh!!!!"
The reason for Swayam's silence was not that he was not scared...he was hell scared but...if he showed it on his face na...then who would take care of Sharon...he literally felt like jumping in the sea and swim across the blue ocean to find the cruise...
He found a paddle and starting paddling vigorously...
"BE COOL...BE COOL...Swayam...and think straight." he mumbled
"Okay see Sharon you remember we had studied in geography that the sea usually repels things away from itself and pushes them towards the shore? So we are not in the middle of the sea for sure...dekho yaha bade waves bhi nahi dikh rahe hai...i am sure there will be an island nearby"
" Oh my nerdy chocopie I don't wanna study geography now...that too at this moment...just get us out of here first then we study the entire syllabus I promise" she said in her usual sarcastic tone
He then continued paddling and could locate an island and the very first thought that came across his mind was is it a mirage...he didn't want to be a victim of this ...but having no choice left..he decided to proceed in that direction
He remembered the times when he used to pray to God to give them some time alone with absolutely no distractions but it seems He took him seriously . Yes...both of them were craving for some private moments, but not like this, which might cost their life. He looked up in the sky and said "Why did you misinterpret me...what do I do now???"
On the other Sharon was restless... "Swayam be quick...sharks aaye toh...do you want us to be their breakfast and...gimme the other paddle you are damn slow..."she ordered him and then snatched the paddle from him
"Arrey Sharon we need to paddle in sync...its not possible that I will do paddling with one and you with other...yaha hi gumenge pura din!!! And waise bhi don't worry sharks wont even approach us...tumara gussa dekhe they will run away banging their heads with each other"
" Hawww how could you...fine tum karo but FASHHTTT " she said hitting him playfully on his head...only Swayam could talk to her like that...without offending her cause she loves it when Swayam teases her like that...its like her asset !!!
Well actually she was not at all scared that they were lost... as long as Swayam was with her every situation was manageable. Swayam kept on paddling till they reached that particular island, he thanked his stars that it was not a mirage. He was about to jump out of the boat..but thought of getting Sharon out of it first...it was a small tropical island. Warm and transparent water in bluish and light greenish shades, soft golden sand, palms and other tropical plants were bowing over it.
"Wow Swayam this place is so serene and beautiful na...wish we could settle down...there is no human soul that can disturb us here" she said innocently
She was in no mood to get out of that boat soon...so Swayam just carried her in his arms and jumped out of that boat while she continued talking
He then put her down immediately and cupping her face he said "Baby we need not get isolated from the world and stay here...i know off-late hame time spend karne nahi mil raha but i promise I will spend our entire vacation with you... come what may"
"Sacchi" she said excitedly
"Muchhi" he answered her winking
He then turned around to anchor the boat...
