The replies are akin to kids throwing tantrum. Some people wanted new banner, then contest was held. Nobody cared when one banner which had 5 variations were getting majority votes until I posted in the bc thread. People didn't care in that runners up banner it was just one couple and no importance given to so called important character like ruhi arohi manju. Voting were done again. When people were so eager for new banner how come they couldn't spare 30 secs of their time to actually vote for them? And then the alleged rigging allegations by banner maker - for this only the particular banner should be out of contest. People can't even point finger at other fandom when people who don't even watch the serial have voted for the beautiful banner. And it is a beautiful banner - people may not like it cause it don't have their fav's face at front. People who don't know about photoshop, graphics and the time effort goes to make into it should just keep their mouth shut. When people didn't get attention by calling it ugly they went to twitter to cry 🤣 if they wanted to win so bad why they couldn't learn graohicing and send their entries? Yeah right, needs everything on platter.

It's like if I win its fine, if i lose boo you 🤣🤣🤣 over a serial where since last 3 weeks the apparent second chance couple had no conversation where they had any romantic scenes, sat together for any discussion or scene where they stood next to each other smiling. The bc was told to held cause people are overconfident in changing it, when it didn't go their way people started to flock together to cry as usual- kinda like akshara sharma in serial 🤣🤣🤣🤣

And regarding mocking sensitive issue - people drag abortion miscarriage domestic violence custody to drag the male lead of show shouldn't cry about sensitive issue. It's fine when you use them to sever your purpose, just not acceptable when other party is replying.

Hi Mod, we are discussing our issues about the banner with the authorities running this thread like it's supposed to be. It's an issue based thread. In doing so,some of the people supposedly 'violated' the code, their posts getting removed subsequently. Very quick and efficient, I must say.

But then why is this user's post still here. I get the fear of sharing equal status with the other half of the forum is indeed scary, to see their unwillingness to not accept what's blatantly wrong..a hard pill to swallow. That this entire 'post' is simply a projection of that frustration and insecurity. That is indeed understandable.. What's not understandable is how it still remains here pristine and untouched while breaking several rules all the once.

I've been informed that this post was reported today several times and yet it still exists. Maybe the mods missed it. Or maybe it's supposed to be remain here like some historical artifact...a reminder to us all that little knowledge is indeed dangerous and it's always better to know what a thread is for lest one is caught being completely off the handle throwing childish kindergarten level shade on people for simply exercising their rights on what is an open forum. Maybe that's the reason it still exists even after 7 hours. What else must be the reason.

Kindly do the needful.

A lot has already been said about this but I would just like to point out that the rules of the banner contest were openly visible to all. If there were concerns about the rules, they should have been brought up during the time when banner contest was inviting entries so that appropriate action could have been taken then, not after winner is declared. As the mods rightly said, this undermines the efforts put by all banner makers who just followed the rules.

The banner entries and contest followed the rules laid out at start and so are still valid. Infact IO votes from non yrkkh forum contributors ensured banners are selected based on the aesthetics and not based on liking of certain characters, which is only fair.

The main point of contention for the banner dispute is who are considered as the main leads of the show and this is no hidden fact that everyone has a different opinion on it. This should have been thought of and brought up at the start of banner contest not at the end. Hence any inputs or deliberation now on the rules of banner contest should feed into next contest as appropriate.

These are the basic rules of democracy guys. Crying foul after winner is declared because it didn’t meet your expectation is in bad taste IMHO.

The banner contest was held for all and was conducted fairly as per rules, it wasn’t held to meet expectations of a section of audience!

We had raised our concerns and were assured that these things would be taken care of. Some of us had PMed the mods, anyways maybe it would be a better thing to just openly raise these complaints instead of PMing. Also, nobody wants to take away the thunder from the winner, but at the same time it is natural for people to put out how they feel about the situation considering its an open forum, and a lot of us were assured that certain things would be looked after but still were not. And I personally don’t care about a change in banner anymore at this point, but I do want someone to responsible handle such situations. Its clear that a big number of the forum was dissatisfied with the banner, not all of us got the opportunity to vote, so I just hope it be handled more responsibly, maybe giving some kind of assurance works. In case I had PMed my concerns this time again instead of voicing it out in an open forum, what if nobody would have cared again? In that case I would again be accused on why I did not raise our concerns just because they went to PM instead of out in open? Anyways, from what it looks like everybody was quite civil until yesterday and were pointing out their disappointment in a very normal way. But then there was a post earlier mocking these concerns, calling people frustrated kids throwing tantrums and that has ignited things further. Sure people can point out things about how it can be unfair to the winner, etc, that is totally fine, but openly calling someone frustrated kids? If I were in their place doing this, my post would have been thrashed within an hour or so and I might have even received a warning. But the mods inability to take proper action against such open mockery and name calling done by certain others is not setting a good example, thats the point of the conversation later.

Hey,

Can we get technical team to fit in whole banner in the mobile version? It is not only about YRKKH, but banner makers work very hard and we can only see a small part of it on our mobiles.

Well it was done this way cause when we resize the whole banner that small.. you wont be able to see much of the characters.

And neither we want that we have a system where the banner maker have to create multiple version of the banner.

The same thing is followed by Youtube Channel banners also. Where you upload one banner and based on the device screen size it crops. So one have to plan the banner in a way where we keep the most important part in the centre so that it does not gets cropped in smaller devices.

I am certain that the Moderators will find an amicable solution to the issue.

Understandable. We had a question though. What's the process of getting our grievances resolved when its the authorities concerned that have made the mistake or werent clear in their instructions? Who do we take up the issue with then? Clearly no solution is being provided for our current predicament hence the question. Thank you.

Yeah, I don’t think all of it was about the banner alone, so its not just the technical team to support in there. Its also about people getting free pass to mock others.

About the banner, I do understand its not a possibility to shrink the same such that its hardly visible. So the other part of the concern where the rules should be more clear and winners be decided based on those rules, not sure whom to address those concerns to, such that these concerns are taken into account for a better and more fair competition next time.
