Just saw this ..

The thing is the guy who played Shiv actually has a physique closely resembling Shree Ram in VR.The extremely tall stature along with a wide frame that tapers towards the waist. His name is also Ram.Looks rough and tough but the softness ,expressive nature and extroverted nature is missing.U can only see a warrior out there to slay.The makeup of this guy is amazing too otherwise he has a very unsymmetrical ordinary broad face .Swastik's,makeup deptt ,hair styling and lighting dept is too good.

This is what happens when we try to cast actors for an epic.If a guy looks tough ,then there is no softness or gentleness but at the same ,if we cast people like Sujay Reu who has the gentle aura of a moon and has a soft demeanor who looks compassionate,gentle,a caring partner,emotional ,vulnerable then the hard core masculinity is missing so essential in Shree Ram's personality.

Good to know..I have never seen him acting.I just know he is playing the role of Shiva.Sjtimsd Ramayan is the first Indian serial.,I have watched after a long time.Cant stand Indian serials anymore.😊

Anyways,what I wanted to say thatthis guy could also be good for Shree Ram's portrayal to depict the wrath of Ram 's personality.Very good for war scenes yet he would fall flat when the relationships part were to be shot..

Yes exactly said... I think iss mamle mein Mohit raina when he did Mahadev,,,that time his physique was like matching to what required for aghori,,at the same time his smile and softer expressions were par excellence to Bholenaath....he was perfect match for Mahadev character,,,

But yes this prblm always remains in casting of such roles ...very nice example u gave by taking Shri Ram's casting...

Yes,the casting of Devon ke dev Mahadev costumes and acting were very good..I never watched completely but in bits and pieces.They screwed the story bigtime .Thanks to Mr.Debdutt Pattnaik who has again sabotaged the stories by bringing his own ideology to it.
