I’m glad to see that even without Shaurya’s vote, Anokhi would’ve gotten the position. I also liked seeing women on the SIAC board! Aastha did see something on Shaurya’s face, so it makes me hopeful that she will talk to him. This must be deja vu of Shastha! On a side note, Anokhi adresses Shaurya as just Shaurya. Did anyone else notice?

I love that the writers take care of even these small but important points that Anokhi did not need Shaurya’s vote to get what’s due to her. Anokhi’s happiness was a treat to see, but at the same time Shaurya’s insecurities were also highlighted. I am glad Aastha noticed it. I hope she talks to him. He needs some no nonsense straight talk, especially after BM’s honey dripping poison.

Yes we all noticed that Shaurya part, but I wish she would call him that in his presence.

My Shakhi date!! I wanted a longer dance to match their Vday dance, but still cute. I hope they hold true to their promise that they won’t go to bed angry. This is really hard to do in real life. But it was nice to see Anokhi being so cute about spending quality time with her pati. Those heart balloons made a come back!!

The whole romantic sequence was sweet but very short. But it also made sense, Shaurya was not completely into it. I am so happy to see Anokhi taking efforts for their relationship and wanting to spend time with her hubby. But, I also want her to be a little more aware of his stress, like he is always intuitive about her feelings.

Devi is soooo irritating. Why do you want your son to be miserable? Ego and zid are two words synonymous with Shaurya and Anokhi! It will be their downfall! And Shaurya being embarrassed was legit but to not hear her reason before exploding, isn’t acceptable. Anokhi needs to stand up to Devi about all these mundane chores.

Devi is irritating. And she is so selfish. To get one up on Anokhi, she doesn’t care if Shaurya is getting hurt, unhappy or stressed. It was so disgusting to watch her plot away so casually to break her so called son’s marriage disregarding his happiness.

Yes, perhaps Shaurya should have listened to her. But he is being bombarded by all sides and was put in an embarrassing position. He was defending her till last minute, so I guess it’s normal that he exploded. Even Shaan didn’t pause to say that she might have been genuinely delayed, even he blamed her. So I guess it got to him. But he should have let her explain after at least. And Anokhi needs to take a stand against Devi or stand up for herself for sure.

Name change conflict!!! I love it!! As someone who didn’t change her name post marriage, I’m so on Anokhi’s side on this. But this conflict isn’t organic to their relationship though. Shaurya has been calling her Mrs Sabherwal since sindoor shaadi and she’s never been offended. Not sure if it’s the legal changing of her name that she has an issue with. We’ll get more insight tomorrow.

I love marital conflict handled this way on ITV. Shakhi never really dealt with these issues because they never had a normal courtship. And some conflicts only come up post marriage during the adjustment period. Shaurya just has to remember that he fell for the stubborn and righteous girl. Those were attractive qualities then and it should not be tamped down for his comfort.

I agree. I guess being called blind in love husband again n again, is kinda getting to him. Especially after the exam time table fiasco. He needs some sane and sensible talks with his ma. Anyway both of them are new to this. Both of them need to learn, that they can’t keep everyone happy! And don’t have to as well. Ghar ke bade don’t always mean the best for you and they can definitely be wrong as well.

Also loved hearing about the Bhalla institute! Her dream goes to the core of who she is. She knows that financial independence comes with education, and to want to pass that opportunity onto others is noble.

I love her dream. I am sad that we won’t get to see its fruition.

Reg name issue , all the imp documents require either the fathers name or husband's name. D/o or w/o . This , along with with lot of valid issues must be addressed. Like..the girl must have the freedom to keep any name and surname. Or no surname. They can keep the entertainment quotient high along wth having these issues addressed..vaise I love the way anokhi has been dealing with the sabarwals uptil now 👍🏼

I didnt agree to the rice rasm on bidai..its said that daughters r Laxmi Swaroop and when she leaves she throws the rice without turning..it means that after she leaves her maayka, it flourishes , phale phoole hamesha ..a lot of Rasms have deeper meaning which need to be understood..yes , younger gen must question it so that they know what's the significance of it all..over the years it has been twisted and forgotten ..

This is exactly why I am confused. Because I always thought she wouldn’t change her name and then they showed she is very happy being called as Mrs anokhi Shaurya sabherwal. Shaurya always and forever imagined this name from the time of sindoor shaadi was very vocal about it.

I am so glad you brought this up! I forgot to address this in my post. This whole ghar sambhalna bit is getting old. The onus of that does not fall upon the woman alone. I am so disappointed in him for pushing her to do it, that too without help. N he should also contribute. He really needs a dose of Aastha very soon. 🙄

Love everything about this 👆like you said.. there are so many little things and issues that come up after marriage that are glossed over. I’ve never seen a movie that addressed all these issues. Very real and nicely done team! 🙌👏👏
At the same time we have many people cribbing about the drama and not getting enough romance 🙄🤪 Agreed that things might feel a little rushed, but this is what a real marriage is like! These TT girls need to be awakened from a Shakhi obsessed love slumber. We enjoyed all the love tracks they showed us earlier, now it’s time for some real conflicts. I’m quite impressed honestly! 🙌🙌❤️

People are gonna crib either way. I think people forget that SAAKK is a LOVE STORY based on SOCH KI TAKKAR. So as much as the love story is important so are addressing these conflicts equally important. The love track was very important, coz that’s what made the foundation of their relationship so strong. But now it’s important to address the problems as well. I for one am so happy the writers are not brushing the conflicts under the carpet and showing only romance. We need both. Both are equally important.

And I am proud of the team, the writers, directors and actors addressing issues which have never been raised on ITV. Even while leaving they are giving a big Duck you to the channel and it’s regressive soch. And I am all for it. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Anokhi is all ❤️❤️ More power to her and people like her! Education is such a power equalizer of society! I wish we could all learn from her and do our bit in promoting education for the under privileged ❤️ If us, as a FD can come together and do this .. it will truly be a fitting tribute to the show!

Awww Dee take my heart! ❤️❤️ I am so happy to see this show has evoked so many Anokhi’s, inspired so many women. I am just sad we won’t be able to see her dream coming to fruition. But, I am so glad that they are not compromising on the story.

My take on this is that it's very different being called Mrs. Shaurya sabarwal lovingly or casually than changing her name on all legal documents,she being ok or happy being Mrs shaurya sabarwal normally actually proves that she doesn't fight on small things but a legal name change is a very big thing . People seeing her legal documents or people related to her career in future doesn't need to know who is her husband.

Shaurya saying how embarrassed he was multiple times was a little disheartening. He shouldn’t have to feel responsible for his wife’s shortcomings every time or does he need to explain how brilliant she is. But he feels strongly for Anokhi so this will stay. Devi’s words are doing a number on him and he needs a strong dose of Aastha soon! Yes yes! A lot has been talked on the name change topic. Personally to each their own. Like you, I too retained my maiden name post marriage in all legal docs but use my husband’s last name in all informal / no legal docs. But I get why for some its easier to accept this change and harder for others. It should be something mutual and not forced upon . People have pointed that when Anokhi didn’t have a problem adding SS’s name earlier, she shouldn’t have it now especially after their social marriage. And Like Pj10 ( is her name Pooja?) mentioned in the other post, it is because Tejvi feel like forcing her to change her surname will put her in place/ show her their power, that I absolutely am on Anokhi’s side. More Drama baby! 😎🙌❤️

Heart balloons need a parallel.......I can only remember 2 times - valentine's day and the time Shaurya purchased and burst them. I know there are more, I just am blanking.

Shaurya feeling embarrassed is natural, since you do have a tendency to take pride and blame for your significant other. Since you become one unit, it becomes hard to separate the compliments and the complaints. Even if I disagree, I do understand that explosive Shaurya is still present! I'm confused as to why Anokhi doesn't call Shaurya out of this hypocrisy of ghar ka kaam. He does nothing in his house and yet expects her to be superwoman. And is disappointed that she's just a woman. I need Aastha to drop some truth bombs!

I also agree that Tejvi's pressure is what's making Anokhi defensive. Eventhough she's giving into everything Badi Ma wants, she knows the what Devi's doing. She knows she's being set up to fail. Anokhi can't be that naïve. Now will we see her call them out on this bullshit.....we shall see!

I want cute. I need some bits of romance but I'm really impressed by the handling of drama. We got so much cute romance post-sindoor shaadi. That was really their honeymoon phase. But this drama is sooo good. Imagine what they could've done if they had the time to really explore this.

BM's honey dripping poison.......well said! It's really what it is. Feigning concern about her son's heart but out of destroy the only person that resides in that heart. Her plotting so freely with Alok shows how irredeemable she really is.

It's interesting you bring up Shaurya's stress. It is true that he feels pressure from all ends. He must feel like he's giving it his all and not receiving much back. Even though we know he's wrong and all this drama is being contrived, I do feel for him. And from the outside, it does look like Anokhi is the one in the wrong by messing up her exam schedule and then also coming late to a meeting. Shaan is judging her as a board member just like Shaurya should. We're also expecting understanding since Shaurya's her husband and understands her intentions. But intentions don't matter when you can't meet your commitments.

As for name change......I'm waiting to hear Anokhi's reasoning too. So far the writers do a story just even when the pacing becomes fast. So in CVs, I will trust!

I think Aastha will really be the one to fix this. She just shows up in Chandigarh to see Shaan. She notices that look on Shaurya's face. She must have experienced all this with Shaan. She knows how it's like to love and lose a man to ego and the Sabherwals.

I'm also soooooo happy that even with the time crunch, their priority is to tell the story. I appreciate that level of commitment and content. Starplus might have great intent with 'nayi soch' but they always fall into the trp/revenue trap and compromise on that.

I think there's a difference to her between Shaurya just calling her that and legally taking on a name. It's like being called hubby or wifey by your significant other. But if someone else only saw you as that title, you'd be annoyed. It's cute with Shaurya. But Tejvi is out to demean her. The Sabherwal name is to remind her who she is and what she is. And like she said in her speech....She's Anokhi, just Anokhi! I hope she gets her point across to Shaurya when she talks to him and he's willing to listen as well.
