Agreed. But sometimes there are even other societal barriers that restrict one from doing so and being able to receive help freely. Especially in countries that have higher living standards and comparatively lower income that depends on one's skin colour, religion, caste, age, gender. Also, if you do not know your own rights, duties and the right resources to do so, what battles can you even fight? There is also a distinct lack of awareness in most places which lead to people not being able to heal.
Just my genuine thoughts on this. Thought this is a better space to discuss this 👍🏼
