for me, i would naturally ask them if i can borrow the money, i dont think my mind would be able to be in peace if i just take it without asking...and since they most likely wont need it right then as they have given it to me to hold it, they might agree to give it to me...so i will use the money and after that i can pay them back..

i wILL nevr accept to keep someones money with me!!

That's a reasonable idea esp if they gave it to you and won't be needing it in the mean while! Though there is that fear of them needing it urgently when you've yet to bring the money back.
