Paakhi's money issue: Would you borrow money off others?

HEY guys, thanks for the overwhelming response on my previous question Would you be with someone/marry someone who already has a child? which I'll respond back to the latest messages by tomorrow.

So as we've seen Anshuman gave some money to Paakhi for safe keeping (not exactly sure how much he gave her but I assume it's a lot more than he gave her previously or prob the same amount?) And of course he did plan that once Pakhi uses that money, she'll be out of his life and his house -- which brings me onto today's episode; Pakhi went out to buy crockery and a few other things with money which has suddenly appeared out of nowhere seeing as she didn't have much of the budget money left unless she used Anshuman's money. BUT to be honest, I don't think she used his money, I think she must have used her own money because remember, she did have a job back in Chittogarh and I'm sure being a tourist guide must have meant she had a quite a strong amount of money -- so perhaps she saved this? Pakhi is modern and sensible, so maybe she kept the money in a bank and that's how she was able to afford all this?

Some food for thought: if someone gave you some money for safe keeping (no matter who they were) and you suddenly had some financial issues that needed to be solved right now, what would you do? Would you take the money that someone else has give you for safe keeping? Would you ask them first? Or take them but keep in mind to give everything back before they ask for it?

Answer away! =D

Usually i wont accept to keep someones money with me at the firstplace... Becoz i wont want money between relationships... If the situation insist so then i would never think of using that money on my emergency except it is some sort of life threatening... But generally my answer is a big no...i wont borrow money...

Can u repeat the qwestion! 😆 JK..

Taking some one else's money (no matter what the circumstances) without their permission, hoping they'll not find out and u will magically be able to return it later is - STEALING IMO.. So no I won't do it.. It's not MY money!!

If Anshuman has given that money to Paakhi to keep it in the safe- it's NOT for her ghar ka budget! I think she knows Pati can require that money (for his business) at any time of the day so she won't 'borrow' it from his savings! No one should do that in fact, even in real life! UNLESS, it's a medical emergency where a loss of life is feared and Paakhi has no money to save the soul - yes, then she can ask for Anshuman's permission to use that money!
BUT here, in this scenario, no one is dying (thank god).. Yes lavanya had announced that food be served in royal vintage crockery BUT does THAT go with the theme of the party? So Paakhi will end up purchasing some less expensive (not cheap looking though) plates & bowls to serve the Thai food- and they will be purchased within the available budget!

Using her personal savings for ghar ka budget??... Hmmm... Could be or could be not.. But in my opinion, yehh tohh cheating hogi naa? she can't use anything EXTRA than the fixed amount given to her 1 week ago (60000 rupees).. that was Lavanya's challenge- manage this house in this much money ONLY! Sabb ho jaayega.. Hehe 😉

I think I would never touch the money someone gave me to keep. But if the situation is really bad, I will definitely ask them first and promise to give the money back on time. 👍🏼

the whole point was to stay within the 60k so i don't think she will borrow money
or maybe she will use her own earning and say a husband n wife both run the house together

I do like ur idea about Pakhi using some of her savings but I don't think that happened she did hve some money left she must hve brought whatever she wanted in that budget...I don't think I would first of all be comfortable the money with me if I hve to I wouldn't want to use it at all, if times are really bad obviously temptation will arise to use that money I may ask the person with a full fledged promise to return it back..if a person is not asking though that's stealing..

If I was in dire need and there was money at hand, I'd ask for sure before using it.

I would not touch the money that someone else has given to me for safekeeping. If they have given me the money in the first place then that would mean that they are trusting me. To use their money would be like breaking their trust. Something that I would definitely refuse to do, it would be against my own principles.

If I was in a situation where I am short on money, I would try to use the money I have and do everything I need to do. If something would be left out. (like groceries or something/ Not a bill) I would try to negotiate a payment arrangement with the person I owe money to/ the seller.
