what he does for Jyoti is definitely not enough...but that does not make his care any less genuine...he just tries to remain out of it...becoz he idolizes his baba...and if NA wants Shlok to let it happen...he just lets it happen...believing that NA is there to take care.. this is my POV for Shloks stand about Jyotis situation..remember he once asked Aastha to stay away from his family matters...coz he himself maintains a distance

What are siblings for if you can not stand for each other . Shalok is not depended on his father and not does everything what his farther says . He will wait for his father,s action when his sister will suicide . what nonsense , knowing your sister trouble then you are behaving like Gandhi,s three monkeys where your sister is concerned .
This is the main problem in our society where in Jyoti kind of abusing situations , girls are left alone to cope , not having any support from parents . Her brothers can help . Shalok is no quite person .

His upbringing , growing up years must have seen , her mother as submissive where father was the authority . He is this way its not something abnormal . you will find most of the guys with male attitude . Nothing made him like this . he is more influenced by his father . He is possessive and his over possessiveness may have suffocated Swati . you have to give place to any relationship to nurture .
I am also fascinated with Shalok,s and Anjali,s character . Their past . We are what we see around , from our environment , family atmosphere . But when you are out in outside world , then your perspectiive may change but basics remains same .

Nice reply Neeraja😊. hmm so the problem is system, so we are suppose to accept this behaviour in males? if not then how can we fight, they are physically stronger, have society support and more important most people in position to help are also males

No Neelum , Girls has to be financially independent where they are not depended on their parents . yes moral support should be there . If i have daughter , i will tell her to take to one extent , if it goes beyond , better too leave , not go on lingering hoping things will be ok . It rarely happens in real life . Its male dominating society , no doubt about that but that male is also your brother , father who can bring you out from hell the Jyoti is living in .

Neerja here I think Shlok was unable to go against his fathers wishes he's who wanted that his daughter should go back with Abhay
Shlok tried that Joyti not go and you saw he was upset with his father but for now kept quiet

Sure he should have called Joyti to see how she is but for now all on his mind is Astha

Then how can he be different from Niranjan . He made such a big tamasha and when her sister was crying did not want to go , just standing there with folded hands . Hope PH show some positive approach to this kind of situations.
