Glad you liked it. I'm working on part 2 but here's a small snippet.
As the stars fought to be seen through the unnatural light emitted by the city, she fought to keep past memories from resurfacing again. Her past had however left scars deeper and seemingly more destructive than the burning of the distant stars themselves.
