Romance is back on television!!!

A show that went on to rekindle and redefine the idea of pyaar and mohabbat on Indian television, will soon hit screens with season 2.

We are talking about Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon'a show that was produced by 4 Lions Films and aired on Star Plus which went on to gain a cult status.

Lead actors Barun Sobti (aka Arnav) and Sanaya Irani (aka Khushi) became eternal as a jodi which was loved and revered by millions across the globe.

Sadly, much to everyone's dismay and despair, Iss Pyaar Ko went off air in a jiffy after Barun decided to move out in an attempt to chase his 70mm dreams.

Later, Sanaya went on to take up the lead role in Sony TV's Chhanchhan.

Life went on'but fans from all over the globe kept beseeching the channel and the production house to bring back the show with season 2. They yearned to see their favourite jodi romancing all over again.

And now some good news'promos are out and Iss Pyaar Ko is back'this time with the name Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon'Ek Baar Phir'

Rejoicing? But hold on' there is a twist'

The show will have oodles of romance, heart pangs, and sugar laden dramatic moments'but all these sequences will not be enacted by Sanaya and Barun.

Yes, the jodi which made the show immensely popular is not a part of the second season.

And the production house has also seen a change of hands. This time around'it's being helmed by Sphere Origins and not 4 Lions.
So who are the leads? Well, Avinash Sachdev and Shrenu Parikh.

Anyways, when we had a look at the promo, we were impressed with Avinash's performance. He looks in absolute authority of the character, and his hunger to perform better as an actor is seen on the screen. Shrenu is timid and vulnerable, akin to her character sketch.

The title font, promo and the show still'all have an uncanny resemblance with the first season. The channel is trying to cash in on the popularity of season 1, which is pretty evident.

But as they say, magic unfolds only once'.or will history repeat itself. The million dollar question is'will Iss Pyaar Ko season 2 click and create the same euphoria and hysteria without Barun and Sanaya?

This show doesn't have the confidence to stand its own and SP also don't have confidence on this show. That's why they are lending our IPK's name and fame. Even if they call the leads Arnav and Khushi it will not be Ipkknd and we will never accept this.

IPKKND Means Arnav and Khushi
Arnav and Khushi means Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani.

With out them no IPKKND is possible.
