Here is Part- XII


Part-XII

The man who has been sitting on the terrace gets a crackling voice to take the target out now. The assassin once again takes the shot.

He adjusts his telescope on his Remington rifle and chambers the bullet yet again. He aims for the Ambassador Brown's heart.

Jai- Bani now reach the function. The security is tight. They devise a plan to get to the security but as they are about to leave they come face to face with their worst nemsis Ajay Singh Rathore and Gunjan Sabarwal.

The assassin takes the shot and the bullet traveling at the speed of light travels searching for its destination and finally reaches it but then all of a sudden Ambassador Brown moves away from the Podium to pick up his pen and the bullet passes inches away from him and hits the wall.

Since there is a silencer on the rifle know one comes to know that the first attempt has resulted in a failure.

The assassin is now worried as the man on his earphone is scowling on him. Now what can he do. He has to take another attempt on the Ambassador Brown.

If he misses or something goes wrong he knows he is as good as dead. He has to make three attempts. After that he knows it will not be possible to take another shot.

Something needs to happen before that. Hope all is well on their side. He is waiting for another signal.

He keeps looking at the watch and at the sensor his watch has, which will vibrate the moment all is under control. But how long?

Ajay Singh Rathore looks at Jai-Bani takes his gun out and points at them. Jai and Bani have also taken their guns out. Looks like a Mexican shootout.

Three-way shoot-out. All have risen their guns and are pointing at each other. Each has unlocked their weapon and the hands on the trigger. Slightest movement and bullets will fly all over place.

Ajay smiles and says, "Now what you think u can kill me Jai and Bani? Jai I can still understand but Bani you are my officer you work for me? How can you betray me?"

Bani smirks at Ajay and says, "Ajay you lied and duped me. My loyalty is to my country and not to you. So if u even move a inch consider that your last movement that you will make in your life and after which you will die even before you realize what happened? One slight reaction and you are gone."

Jai admires the guts Bani has shown. He tells Ajay, " Your game is up. And you are done. It is better you give up and surrender before I do something to you. Are you listening to me?"

Ajay smiles and says, "You think I am scared of Jai. And you Bani you think you can even touch me. You know everything I taught and now you have the audacity to point that gun on me? How dare you?"

Just when this showdown is happening another gunman makes way to kill Ambassador Brown and is ready to take him out. He knows what he is doing.

He has taken shelter at the high-rise building directly opposite the function site. He wears the earphone he is connected to his boss who is at the function with a disguise because in the eyes of the world the man is dead.

The gunman takes out his powerful telescopic rifle and is setting himself for the target. He is oblivious to the fact that he has just walked into a trap designed to catch him. He has to take the shot which will kill Ambassador Brown.

He chambers his bullet and is about to take a shot when his hands reach the trigger at the sametime the guns of Jai-Bani and Ajay Singh Rathore reach the gunman's head.

The gunman hears the warning if he moves a muscle his brains will be blown apart to smithereens. He will die and that too execution style. He has no choice but to comply with the orders. He is asked where is boss is? But he remains quiet.

He can feel the barrel of the gun on his head and knows that he will be killed by these people if he does not do as he is told by them. He is in a jam, either way the man knows he is a sitting duck.

He decides to comply with the orders and tells Jai-Bani and Ajay that his boss is in the audience but where he does not know?

The assassin who is sitting on the terrace breathes a sigh of relief when his watch vibrates and he is given a new target. His new mission to take the man who wants to kill Ambassador Brown.

The man is none other than Pushkar Shukla sharpshooter for the CBI and he still is unaware of who to shoot. But he is ready. He is waiting for his partner and he sees her coming to him.

She had just been given orders. She had just joined the CBI as a sharpshooter. Her name Shikha Chaudhry. She was first in her class.

Sikha comes next to Pushkar and asks him what the orders are? Pushkar tells her that they have to take the assassin out who is wearing the disguise but he has been told who we are looking for. He tells her who they will be looking for?

Shikha is shocked and justs nods.

They both take their telescopic rifle and now wait for their orders. They are scanning the crowd. This is going to be a difficult task. But then they knew what this job curtailed for them. Now they wait for the next orders?

The man in the crowd is surprised that the man has still not been shot. Ambassador Brown is still alive and where is the stupid man who was to take Brown out. If he does not do then he would have no choice but to kill Brown himself which meant to expose himself.

But then time is running out for him. He checks at the gun he smuggled through the security. It is fully loaded. All he has to do is point and shoot.

He decides to wait for another 5 minutes before making the final call. As Ambassador was coming to the end of speech he has to die before he takes his place at the table again still no sign of the assassin taking the man out.

The person keeps telling the man through a transmitter to take the shot but nothing seems to be happening.

The man has made a decision to take Brown out. And he takes the gun and checks to make sure that it is fully loaded and moves around in his chair. He has to be careful as the people around him are unaware what is coming their way?

He shifts in his chair nervously and ensures that the fake reporter ID card and his pad and paper are in his hands. He is disguised as a reporter.

He takes the gun in his hands and feels the cold steel in his hands. He decides to take the shot at Brown as he raises his gun to take the shot at the same moment Jai-Bani and Ajay run to see if all is well.

As their eyes are searching for the man and that is when Jai points the man and they zero in on him and then run fast as the man points the gun towards Brown he can feel three guns have gone behind him in a very discrete manner.

The man turns around towards Jai-Bani and Ajay as all three are shocked that they are staring in the eyes of a man who had died something back. How is that possible?

The man had died and that news had made the headline but then again he was alive.

Justice Arvind Archarya was staring in the eyes of Jai-Bani-Ajay. He could not believe that his plan had been foiled. The carefully calculated plan where he had faked his own death and had framed Jai-Bani who he hated with passion and he had his reasons for it.

Ajay Singh Rathod was smiling he had yet again trapped the hunter in his own game of deceit and lies. And now the hunter became the hunted.

He smiled and said to Justice Archarya, " It is good to think one is smart and intelligent but to think the person who is facing is no fool. And you made that fatal mistake when you framed Jai and Bani."


Ajay continued, "The game you played was dangerous but then I am no stranger to the games of lies and deceit and hence I had no choice but to make Jai-Bani scapegoat. I had to become bad but then Jai Walia caught on and so did Bani.

All this that you saw was a game just to trap you. Justice Archarya do you have any idea the amount of pain it has taken us to trap you?


And then you said your ace man Gunjan Sabarwal to convince me that he had become good. But then you forgot the famous phrase that keep you friends closer but your enemies even closer and that is what I did.

I kept Gunjan with me on very step of the way so I knew what he was planning but then I still had no clue who was the man behind this operation?

And then I got a lead in the most unexpected manner and I was looking at the grounds where your assassination was committed and then I noticed something strange and completely out of place something I had not anticipated and to be honest I was not looking for the first time but it had been troubling me the whole time.

The people who committed your assassination knew the exact time to strike and escaped even before people knew what had happened and that does not happen often.

There is some clue or mistake the people who have committed the crime always make and this crime scene was way too clean and another strange thing was how we call so conveniently saw the clues that lead to the suspicion on Jai and Bani.

The gun was still being pointed at the Justice Archarya and he was now completely surrounded.

The man who was at the podium pretending to be Justice Brown jumped and took out his gun and pointed at Justice Archarya the man took out his mask and Justice Archarya gasped as he saw Ranveer Walia pointing the gun at him.

The same Ranveer Walia who he had killed sometime back. Now all things became clear as to how they knew that he was involved from the beginning.

Jai Walia was stunned to look at Ranveer as he thought that he had lost his nephew forever. He would meet with him later. He still wanted to know why Justice Archarya has decided to trap Jai and Bani. Why the kidnap and the nationwide hunt?

Jai Walia walked upto Justice Archarya and catches the man by his collar and asks him, "Why did he do all this? And why did he frame him and Bani?"

Before Justice Archarya can mumble something he cries from the jab that comes from Bani who has him covered. She wants to know the reason for their torture and hell that both her and Jai had to go through.

Justice Archarya still has some hope and is looking for someone. Jai smiles and tells him that Gunjan Sabarwal is not likely to come back in this lifetime as he has been taken care of. Jai Walia calls his bluff.

The fact of the matter is that Gunjan Sabarwal is in high-security cell being interrogated and being given third-degree and his likely to come and save the man here seems completely unlikely.

Justice Archarya tries to move and a bullet comes almost kisses and passes through him. And then another comes and passes by him again. Pushkar and Shikha are not about to mess this time. They have the Justice Archarya completely covered.

Last time Pushkar almost lost his job when on his shift the assassination on the man standing in front of him had taken place. But how did he pull off had still been a big mystery to him?

Ranveer said he can guess how this man pulled the great escape in front of the cameras, media and the world. Ranveer said, "The problem was that this man always wanted money and even as a judge he had taken money and sentenced or manipulated the sentences in favor of the person who became the highest bidder and he loved the scent of money. It had become an obsession with the man. And then the links that connect him to the terrorist group made him a powerful man."


Ranveer continued, "His luck smiled upon him when the terrorist Multan Khan came to his court and he was to be sentenced to death but then Justice Archarya tasted the money from the terrorist group and next thing you know that Multan Khan escaped after someone came to meet him at the high-security prison.

I was assigned to the case and that is when I stumbled upon the Judge and had evidence which clearly linked him to the terrorist groups. But he came to know about me and came to buy me. And I refused and then the man shot me.

The only good thing was that I was wearing a bullet-proof vest and he did not know about it. He shot me thrice and left me to die that is what he thought.

And then the terrorist group wanted something else from him and that was the assassination of Ambassador Brown and were willing to pay any price for it and hence he came with the idea to fake his own death and trap Mamaji and Bani in it.

Ranveer smiled and said, "Mamaji he wanted you and Bani out of the way because of what you did to him long time back. You remember, how you took one of his close friends son out when you were with Delhi Crime Branch in a robbery case and this man tried all his sources to get you kicked from the force and harm you but could not touch you because you were right and Bani he wanted to take out because Bani had rubbed him the wrong way sometime back you remember Bani when at a party he tried to act smart with you and you basically insulted him and hence he wanted you out."

And then he hired Gunjan Sabarwal to do his dirty work at a striking price of Rs. 75 crores to kill both of you but then he was not counting on being caught.

And now the escape from the entire world and how he vanished. He planned everything to the last final detail. As you will remember when he was finishing his speech he sneezed out of the blue and that was the signal to get the plan in motion.

He was wearing bullet-proof jacket and then two people almost dressed and looked like Mamaji and Bani jumped and fired at him and indiscreetly to create the commotion that was so much needed and then he escaped and put his body double which he had taken care of.

The man was gone and the body double was shot and killed and hence the news spread that Justice Archarya had died.

And all this was done for money and fame and also because the terrorist group was blackmailing him as they had evidence which would finish him and hence the scheme to not only deceit us but the terrorist group.


Ranveer smiled and said, "Game over, Game, Set and Match."


And as the gun relaxed the Justice Archarya made his final attempt to run and this time there was no escaping as bullets came to him from all directions and before anyone knew all were staring his bullet- riddled body and the man was no more.

The man once known as Justice Archarya would always been known as a good man gone astray in life and ending up as a dog meat for the terrorist who once again showed how easy it was them to use our own people against us.


The atmosphere was somber as Jai, Bani, Ajay, Ranveer just stood and kept staring at the motionless body of Justice Archarya.

The case was now over.

But then was the story of Jai-Bani over or just beginning…………????
