Kriya sat there on the rocking chair, waddling side to side trying to put her one moth old baby girl to sleep. Once her sweet little baby fell asleep, she got up to place her in her baby bed. Her eyes fell on the picture just above the baby bed. It was actually a portrait of her along with her husband and her baby. In the world of photo's no one makes a portrait but her husband Reyansh Singhaniya does. He always had a liking for portraits and thus had insisted upon getting a portrait of them together. She caressed it amorously whilst her mind drifted in to the flashback of how she had finally won her love at last.

A year back Kriya had returned to Mumbai to attend the wedding of her cousin. Unfortunately or better say fortunately, she met the gang over there. Like expected everyone blamed her and questioned her regarding her sudden departure. By the time she ended her story; everyone was in tears and was proud to have a friend like her. Alas! Rey wasn't present there. The moment he saw her; his eyes flared streams of anger and betrayal. Without a saying a word he left that place. Kriya was well aware about Rey being in relationship with Taani and also about their break up. Kriya could very well understand taani's pain because even she has gone through the same.
Days passed by but the equation between Kriya and Rey didn't change. Every time they met, Rey would never leave a chance of accusing and condemning her. He was adamant for not listening to her truth. His ego clashed with his love and somehow conquered it. Rey was very rude to Kriya. Though his heart pained on seeing her shed tears 'cause of him but then his ego would create a wall such that he becomes stone hearted; enough to ignore her tears. Rey had only one aim in his mind and that was to seek revenge from her. He wanted to make her go through all the pain and suffering he had gone through because of her. He had broken up with Taani only because of her 'cause he very well knew that it was impossible for him to love someone else. Kriya tried all her best efforts to talk to him but all were in vain.
It was yet another sunny summer day and the gang was chilling at Sharon's farmhouse. Suddenly Rey, Sharon kriya and Swayam's parents reached there surprising them.
"Maa, what are you people doing here?" Kriya asked smriti.
"Well, we have a surprise for you." Smriti replied.
"Smriti, I and rey's dad decided that you and rey will get married." Rey's mom burst the news.
"What!!!!!" The gang exclaimed in unison.
"Ma, what are you saying?"
"Oh common Kriya, we all know that you and rey love each other so what's the problem."
Little did the parents know that nothing was alright between Kriya and Rey.
"Mom I'm ready." Rey announced.
"Rey are you sure?"
"Yeah"
Kriya's happiness had no bounds. A huge smile curled up on her lips and in an instant replied "yes" hugging him tight. But little did she know that it was her first step to hell. Rey had already made some plans to vanish her peace. He wanted to make Kriya's life miserable. He wanted to make her vulnerable, like he was in the past.
In two weeks they got married and the real game started then. On their wedding night, Kriya had expected a lot. An aderaline rush ran through her cheeks turning them crimson. Soon enough rey entered the room breaking all her thoughs. The first thing he did was enter the washroom and change. He then lied on his side of the bed and turned off the light to sleep. This left kriya stunned beyond core.
"Rey...everything's fine?" Kriya polietly asked.
"Yeah, don't bother. Tomorrow's first day of my office and I need a peaceful sleep." He replied rudely.
Controlling her tears, she lied down next to him saying a "good night" to which he didn't even bother to reply. Kriya drifted into sleep hoping that, tomorrow will bring something new between them.
The alarm rang, irking both kriya and rey.
"Argh! Stop that alarm" said an irritated rey.
"Sorry" kriya said switching it off.
"Good morning rey" She said with a smile and proceeded to hug him. Before she could actually hug him, he got off the bed and spoke harshly "What's so good about this morning?"
A hurt and dejected kriya left from there. After getting freshened up, Kriya prepared coffee for rey since he's used to it.
"Rey your coffee" She said handing him the mug.
After taking a sip, rey immediately spat it out.
"You call this a coffee?? You know what servants make much tastier coffee than yours".
This comment from him hurt kriya alot. She wondered what was wrong with him.
Later at that night Rey returned late.
"Rey where were you? It's been past 10:30. You know how worried I was?"
"Did I ask you to worry for me?"
"Huh?"
"It's my life and it's my wish. I don't owe an answer to you." Saying this Rey left.

This continued daily. A month had passed by and Kriya got used to his rude and harsh behavior. She joine Sharon and Swayam in their dance institute so that her mind can have a peace of time.
That night Rey had returned home earlier surprising kriya.
"Kriya get ready we need to attend a clients party" rey said in his usual indifferent tone. He handed her a packet which consisted a black saree in it.
After thirty minutes Kriya met rey in the living room. Rey became angry because she had not worn the dress he gave her.
"What the hell?? How dare you wear this idiotic green saree. Do you want to make a fun of me??" He shouted at her.
This enraged kriya limitless. Today she had enough of him.
"I didn't wear that saree you bought because it was way too revealing and it'd make me uncomfortable in front of everyone. And what's wrong in this saree. Moreover how will it make a fun of you!" She yelled back at him.
"Exactly I wanted you to wear that one because it's a hot one. All the wives of my colleagues are far better and hotter than you. You're actually nothing in front of them. At least by wearing that dress you'd slightly look sexy."
"I don't believe this! You mean to say that you're ashamed of me only 'cause I'm not hot? Then let me remind you Mr.Singhaniya you were the one who agreed for marrying me at the first place and not me. I didn't ask you to do that."
Ignoring her words he spoke "Kriya go and change"
"I won't"
"I said change!" He raised his voice even higher frightening her.
After a few minutes kriya came down wearing that black saree with red embroidery.
It was a strapped blouse that hugged the credential parts of her curves with a thin strap joining the ends. Her waist was clearly visible enough.
The masculine hormones with him started to wreak a havoc in side him. His intense gazed peered from her head to toe. Oh! How he wished, he could just tear away those pieces of clothing and have her till he's contented beyond the limit.
"Let's go." Kriya said looking down unable to meet his gaze.
It was a formal business party and Kriya was sick and tired of plastering a smile. Rey left her all alone among the guests and went to the bar. A girl wearing a mid thigh golden shimmering halter neck dress approached him while he was having his drink.
Kriya's blood raged when she saw that girl literally flirting with her husband with her hands roaming on his torso. She threw draggers at him and that girl. Stomping her foot she went to the bar and ordered three vodka shots. By the time she finished her third shot the alcohol had taken over her mind. A random guy had approached her she gladly accepted his offer for dance. The tables turned and it was time for rey to burn with jealous. He completed his fourth round of beer and heeded towards them.
In an instant he jerked off that creeps hands and dragged her from there. Rey drove the car ferociously since he wasn't in his correct state of mind and neither was kriya. She kept giggling in between when ever he took a turn or kept playing with his hairs. As the reached their house, rey picked kriya in his arms and proceeded towards their room.
He placed her on the bed came upon her. Both of them intently stared in each others eyes.
"Why do you hate so much?" Kriya asked innocently.
"I don't hate you."
"Then why are you so rude to me?"
"I'm sorry love,..."
"You called me love?"
"Yea 'cause I love you"
"I love you too" Saying this Kriya arched up and captured his lips in hers.
After a long and passionate smooch they parted away. Rey pulled down the straps of her blouse and trailed down a line of kiss all over her shoulders. With in time all their clothing was on the floor with their bodies sticking against each other. They continued their intimate love making session the whole night. The whole room was with filled the slow moans made by them. Love had conquered over all the other emotions...it was a blissful night for both of them.
Little did they know what destiny had srored for them the next morning.

He kept staring at the innocent beauty in front of him until realization dawned upon him. His eyes widend with shock as he realized he freaking made love to her and confessed his feelings. He did what he wasn't supposed to. But then a crooked smirk crawled on his face.
Soon kriya woke up. Like rey even her head spinned. As she realized the events occured last night a crimson hue surfaced her cheeks. For a moment rey got lost in her but then composed himself. She was about to hug him but he stopped.
"Whatever happened yesterday night was just a mistake" rey said sternly without any emotions.
"Yo...you're joking right?" Kriya stammered as she heard him saying those words.
"No I'm not"
"If you didn't mean anything then why the freaking hell you confessed your love" kriya barked in anger.
"Don't you get it? I was drunk. Alcohol makes you say the things you never intend to mean."
"But people say truth when they're drunk."
"Not everytime. And now excuse me I'm getting late." Saying this rey left leaving behind a sobbing kriya.

Kriya was teaching the students contemporary dance and suddenly in between she felt nausea feeling. She rushed to the washroom in a jiffy. Sharon and Swayam who were passing through the corridor observed kriya and ran behind her. They waited for her to come out of the washroom. As soon as kriya exited the washroom both of the pounced on her with questions.
"Kriya are you fine??" Swayam asked.
"Yeah I am."
"No you're not. I've been observing you from the past three days, you seem to be a little dull and ill." Sharon said.
"No Shar, I'm absolutely fine."
"Kriya you know you can't lie in front of us. So don't even try."
Sighing in defeat, Kriya narrated all the events that occured with her. Starting from Rey's drunken confession to his rejection. She also told them that from past three days she kept puking almost every hour.
"Kriya you should get yourself checked. There might be a possibilty of you being pregnant." Sharon told.
Later that evening, kriya was returning home from hospital. She had mixed emotions playing on her face. She was happy as well as sad. Happy because she was pregnant and sad because she was unsure whether rey would accept the baby or not.
Kriya was surprised on seeing the door unlocked from outside. She rang the bell and as expected rey opened the door. Without saying a word she entered in.
"Where were you till now?"
"At the hospital"
"Everything fine?" Rey asked not trying to sound worried.
Taking a deep breath, kriya spoke " Rey I'm pregnant."
At first rey was shocked. He was actually happy but then he maintained a straight face and replied "So what am I supposed to do?"
"Rey it's your child."
"Nope. It's only your baby."
"You are a heartless jerk" Saying kriya stormed into her room sobbing.

Kriya was 7 months pregnant. In these 7 months neither did once Rey take care of her nor did he even bother to ask her about her well being. Sharon and others used to visit her daily and help her with her chores and health.
It was just another day and Sharon and Swayam were leaving Rey's house. They were highly pissed by rey's behavior. That day their anger grew beyond bounds. Swayam pulled rey into his study room followed by Sharon who bolted the door.
"What the hell guys?? Why did you pull me in here?"
"What the hell is wrong with you rey??" Swayam said.
"What do you mean?"
"Why are you so ignorant towards kriya? She's your wife and why do you behave rudely with her??" Asked an irky sharon.
"She deserves all this."
"No she doesn't. Did you hear it she doesn't deserve this at all." Swayam shouted.
Sharon then narrated Kriya's story. By the time she ended, rey fell on the ground crying bitterly.
"She's right. I'm a heartless jerk. She loved me truly but what did I do? I hurt her even more. I'm such a b*****d."
"You can still mend the things." Saying this Sharon and Swayam left.
After they left, rey walked into their room. He sat beside kriya and loving patted her hair. Unknowingly a smile crept on her face as she felt his touch. She clustered his hand between hers and slept peacefully. After some time even rey fell asleep with his head resting on the bed.
The next morning, kriya was the first one to wake up. She was astonished on seeing rey sleeping in front of her. Her hands involuntarily ruffled his hairs. On sensing her touch, he woke up.
"Are you fine?" He immediately asked her.
Kriya was at first baffled with his question. She didn't expect Rey to be concerned for her.
"Yeah" was all she replied.
Kriya proceeded to get off the bed but rey stopped her.
"Where do you think you're going?" Asked Rey.
"To finish my daily chores."
"You will get off the bed only to have your bath and then return back here like a good girl."
Kriya was astound. She wondered what was wrong with him?
"Kriya I'm sorry. I really am sorry for behaving like a jerk, a dumba** in all these months."
On understanding what he was refering to, she sighed!
"So you finally got to the truth...that I was trying to tell you since a year"
Rey looked down in regret.
"Rey I'm glad you got to know the truth." Kriya said trying to hide her emotions.
"Baatcutter I know you're upset because I didn't trust you and hurt you a lot even though you were not fault...I'm sorry."
"It's fine"
"No it's not. You can punish me in whatever way you want to."
"Your punishment is that you have to love me all through your life and always trust me."
"Aye aye madame. Reyansh Singhaniya is available at your service for the rest of our life."
Kriya giggled at this statement. The rest of the time till Kriya's delivery, Rey took care of her like a child. He always pampered her and agreed to all her demands. Finally the delivery date and everything took place calmy without any panicking. A baby girl was born to them and they named her Pari.

Rey looked down in regret.
"Rey I'm glad you got to know the truth." Kriya said trying to hide her emotions.
"Baatcutter I know you're upset because I didn't trust you and hurt you a lot even though you were not fault...I'm sorry."
"It's fine"
"No it's not. You can punish me in whatever way you want to."
"Your punishment is that you have to love me all through your life and always trust me."
"Aye aye madame. Reyansh Singhaniya is available at your service for the rest of our life."
Kriya giggled at this statement. The rest of the time till Kriya's delivery, Rey took care of her like a child. He always pampered her and agreed to all her demands. Finally the delivery date and everything took place calmy without any panicking. A baby girl was born to them and they named her Pari.
