I feel that Dev wants to take some kind of revenge of the past with kajal or her family.
Reason may be: maybe Dev's relation with "some girl" did not happen because of dev's mom ( that is what has been show to us so far, through dev's hatred towards her mother) so, what i mean is, there must be some connecting line between DEV, his relationship and how it didnt work out or she died or something because of Kajal or her family.(unknowingly )
Or
it may be out of pure love and the denial that he is in love with her?

but what about the locket(kajals that he has) that Dev thru out of anger, if you saw the 7th NOV episode, does that mean hatred, revenge or?
