You will never keep me away from any discussion that involves books. I am a die hard book lover.

Puttrani, great post.👏

Guys as i was going through this post i swa some of the members saying that they have not read M&B's... so therefore i am giving you guys two links to reading M&B's online. Reading these the uninitiated can decide whether they want to read them or not.

here's the link....

https://www.millsandboon.co.uk/cgi-bin/millsandboon.storefron t/EN/Catalog

https://www.eharlequin.com/cms/onlinereads/readsLibrary.jhtml

BTW, it is important here to note that M&B's is the name of the publishing house and the series variouis authors write under them. You have to pick your author with care.

Depends totally on what you like;......... for example i avoid Betty Neels like plague and absolutely hate medical or historical stuff...I rather like everyday big city romance prefebly in ..... the business arean aor rather romance at work...... all books have a synopsis at the back which will help you decide.( don't mind me guys i can go on and on..)

Oh cool! Thanks so much rocky! But I think I am too much of a prude to read them.😳

Puttarani, great post, thanks for pointing out the similarities, I am familiar with most of the books but had not really thought it like you. You really think out of the box 😊 . Wow, really great work and please do more, I enjoyed reading the post.

I read my first M&B a few months ago, I was always embarrased of getting caught reading it in front of people or family members who would make fun of me so I totally avoided it. I found one lieing around the house and now I am trying to find time to read more. Thanks to rocky, klueless and others who have suggested the authors.

Thanks Amber. I love these books and I am always looking out for similarities between books and serials/movies because these books are so good they can inspire generations.😊 Thanks to those guys too, but as I said, I am a bit too shy to read them and maybe too young also. I am only in High School. Maybe when I reach Uni.

Well, Jai's character now tends more towards Maxim De Winter's , a man mortally afraid that his much loved wife will find out his secret .....

And Pia's more like Rebecca, fey, beautiful and capable of destroying the fabric of whose ever's life she touches

I am not too fond of the romance on the Ranch either, the city stuff works just fine for me. To that list of authors I would add Lynne Graham....

KS started with lifting JW straight out of a Mills and Boons..... No wonder we fell in love right away😳.... it was wonderful to see a living hero of M&B

Btw, Putturani great topic..... I have read the books u mentioned and the resemblance is there to see...

OMG U Kiddig me .. u like the same authors ..?😛 Yeah .. Sound.. we should start a mills and Boon Forum .. discuss the modern romance hero's we liked .... havent given much thought to lynne graham .. , have read her books ..Ok Girl lets talk about books via PM .. 😉

😆 Hey you don't have to be a Karamchand like Bani to read one yaar! I know about romantic novels, it makes me think about it for ages and discuss with friends as if it was a movie and rethink all THOSE scenes over and over again😳😳😳.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for taking so long to reply back.. but i was waylaid by the ff competetion.....

Klueless, Sound & Cheeze..... Wow!... It is wonderful to know that we share the same interest....

Personally i love Carole Mortimer.....

I love the authors that you mention of cpourse.. but my favourite scenario was both as bussiness rivals or marriage of convinience....
Guys, we must form a M& B group.... any one else intersted in MB's is most welcome....

And Puttarani.... reading romance has nothing to do with age or being a prude.. .. try reading one online and see if you like it.... I read my first when i was guess what 13.. i know too young.. but... they were easily accessible...
