THE MIRAGE-The journey so far...

A Review of An ARSHI FF

Is that spring that graced the golden sands of the desert land?

As even the dry winds seemed laden with mist!

Was that a petal that landed on the sand?

Or was it a trace of my imagination just!

I saw in my mind's eye a tale untold;

For it was the Jethwa princess I saw who walked out Proud and Stiff...

And Following her was Arnav Singh Raizada making the canvas to unfold,

A wonderful Arshi legend of which i got a whiff...

The story thus flew out of the GOLDEN HAZE

As i wove it into a complicated maze...

As the mighty ASR and the Rani Saa walked with their entourage

I happened to pen A story called THE MIRAGE

( Written specially for this post and Dedicated to all my readers on IF)

THE MIRAGE( Season-1)

An intriguing ARSHI lovestory that is set up in the backdrop of Rajasthan... Khushi Khumariji Bhanu Prathap Singhji Jethwa- a princess is forced to marry Arnav Singh Raizada- The successful and ruthless business tycoon to save her ancestral home The Sheesh Mahal! The story is about the gamut of experiences the couple goes through within a span of eight days with mysterious stalkings and life threats to Khushi.The FF is about the aspirations of The Rani Saa of Ranpur...to preserve the honour of her ancestors in serving her people...supported by her childhood friend Thakur Deepthimaan Singh Rathore and Plagued by the shadows of Bhairv and Shikar Singh Chandi!

As informed This post is to relive the FF THE MIRAGE... I request you to express your experiences with my FF... our FF (sorry). You had been very suportive with your participation! But as the season 1 is soon coming to an end I thought of requesting you for an over all feedback about the feel... about your experiences and what caught your imagination...The setting, dialogues, plot or characterization The narration, writing style, sequences, scenes quotes, or even chapters ...anything... everything in perspective...

Best thing i find in ur story is the vivid description of our culture.

Everything seems so real, be it clothes, places or rituals.
Khushi in this ff is so different and unique. Plain royality. No one can deter or budge her from her stance. I just love her defiance.
And last but not the least, our incorrigible ASR. Egoistic foolish lover.
He reminds me of a line 'ISHQ PAR ZOR NAHI, HAI YE WO AATISH GHALIB; JO LAGAYE NA LAGE, JO BHUJAYE NA BHUJE'
His resistance to feeling of love made him fall even harder in love. Poor helpless but definitely shameless RAJA SA 😳
Just love it. Keep up the good work 😊

hii ...i started reading ur story wen u were in ch26 or 25 , n i read the story in one go loved it ...though at times it was difficult for me to understand all d rituals of rajasthan dat u mentioned but love the flow n d way u explained it ...love the whole concept , n how the characters come into light for eachother ...its beautifully written , n hoping same for season 2 ...

u started telling a story..

i started reading ur story..

u narrated abt some people..

some good some bad..

i felt connected to them...

content n happy with good..

sad n angry with bad...

dont know when..

dont know how...

in between the narratives...

u seem to have put a soul ...

to the characters..

to the good

the bad...

and i started living...

smiling with them when they were happy..

blushing when they flirted..

upset and anxious when the bad struck...

and now that u say its going to end...

i wonder...

what is going to end...

coz characters might end..

but i have seen life in these ..

so can these living ever end??

well... i guess they might...

but not for me :)

i'll still carry the experience..

the story..

the characters...

their life...

their feelings...

everything that i lived.. i felt .. alongwith them...

so no.. for me...

this is not a story..

not any more..

its more like a part of my life..

so no.. it doesnt end here..

i goes on..

and on...

and on..

Now what can I say that you don't already know or haven't already heard from me ...

Okay well ... I can always repeat myself 😆

On a serious note though, this has definately been an amazing journey so far reading this story.

I first came across it in its earlier days and I was blown away be the writing style you used, the idea of a Princess being really strong and held pride about her people, ancestry and land. Wow!

Khushi's character here was something totally new to me. I've never till date come across her nature to be as it was here and I mean that in a positive sense, a compliment. 😃😃

As for Arnav, I really did dislike his nature and especially his behaviour, accusations and the hurt he caused Khushi. She didn't deserve any of it and its only after seeing him truely repent and see the error of his ways that I can safely say that I don't dislike him and his behaviour towards his wife. He has learnt that whatever she did and will continue to do, will not be for selfish reasons. Not in the slightest. A unique woman. His wife. His better half. He doesn't own her ... no man owns their girlfriend or wife and those that think so, well people you need to open your eyes and mind ... She is his equal.

A very descriptive story. Each character held importance and were significant in the progression of this tale. Hats off to you.

at present i have two posts to edit and a lot to write about mirage...

hopefully i wont mix all up so i'll be back in some time...i'll quickly go n edit those two posts ASAP...so i can come n write here in peace...

so didu m here...

there are loads of thing that i loved about THE MIRAGE...cant point out just one...and u know that...

at first when the story started with arnav's MU i was like ahh its gonna be a typical hate-love and all story...(sorry i'll be frank) i read it...and as the story progressed i was like GAL U PROVED ME WRONG...i cant help but think about this story...Meg was busy with certain things so i was not able to tell her about it...but then when u gave the green signal to share it with my friend i ASAP scrapped her the link...and after that our "critics and discussion" on the story started...we were practically mad for the story and stalked the thread to death...

i know u might be thinking that why aint i saying that i loved the plot, characters, storyline and all...but aint that obvious...stalking ur story...asking u stupid things and in process getting a didu...i loved everything...so yupp there is nothing specific...

but the breath-taking feature was KHUSHI's character...such a strong, determined, and amazing one and at the same time it was broken beyond repair...her way of acting and her respect for arnav inspite of his attitude...didu ur khushi made arnav accept that his life is nothing without ms. sorry mrs pride chin jethwa raizada...and the master deal maker is now all set to make profits outta this deal of his life in "THE PURSUIT"

by the end of the story i was like...for arnavji...but then i realized he is rajasaa and has a nut to crack😉😆

The pursuit...to forever... together...

didu i just had this wish for Pursuit that i want to see "khushi" and not ranisaa or khushi kumari jethwa raizada...just khushi...for herself and for him...hope u got what i mean??

for anything that i ever uttered or did that would have hurt u :)

Hmm,, From where shall i start !!

This FF has been an awesome and thrilling journey and i have loved every bit.

I discovered this FF when it was already 15 chapters down but still i feel i have been a part of it from the beginning!! Weird Na ??😆

Initially when ArnavJi was all ASR , i used to feel what a jerk, arrogant , brainless , egoistic and what not about him and as time progressed you slowly but surely made the true ArnavJi stand out where i was like thats it he is perfection personified !!😳

Similarly with Khushi ,,, in the beginning i felt sorry for her, thinking she is so helpless, and being stubborn and in her own shell but then again her character has turned out to be the strongest one i have seen in the various FF's i have read here!! From a docile young women she transformed into a Brave Princess with her sole agenda of keeping her loved ones before her!!

I have to give a special mention to Maan as well, who has been consistent throughout and a gem of a person!

Then of course the rawness you bought into this story with the other characters , their language,elaborate settings , beautiful clothes basically all the grandeur including the pics you kept putting up so that we can get to see exactly what your imagining was like the cherry on the cake.

I always felt like i am watching a thriller rather than just reading!!!

Now the end of the "Mirage" is here and i am feeling happy about it because according to me this is the right stage to end it and move on to phase 2.

The adrenalin rush in some of the chapters in thread 2 with all those cliffhangers gave me a lot of anxiety and trust me i mean it as a compliment as to how good you are as a writer but now i look foward to THE PURSUIT big time!!

I njoyed readin mirage very much...
I cleary rememberd wen i came across u r ff...
Actualy i m a big fan of mirage by molten lava...
So i naturally was curious to knw wat story u had yo offer...
Nd i must say u hve done a very good job...
Vety unique story...actual depiction nd narration of scenes...
Nd ofcourse our arshi...
Thnk u so much for gvin dis ff...
