Maanvi happily walked out of her room, leaving a confused and worried Viraat behind, lost in his own thoughts.

Viraat was sitting on the couch, looking worried and tensed, while Vayansh and Viren sat on the bed, looking at Viraat with confused expression.

Viren: (looking at Viraat) Ab bol bhi de, kya ho gaya?
Vayansh: Haan Viraat, batao kya hua? Maanvi abhi bhi tumse naraz hai kya?

Viraat looked up at Vayansh and Viren with narrowed eyes. He got off of the couch and started pacing back and forth.

Vayansh: Vir,,,(cuts off by Viren)
Viren: (whisperes to Vayansh) Kuch mat bol, warna humari class laga dega.

Viraat looked up at Viren as he heard what he said, eventhough, he was standing far away from them.

Viraat: (looking at Viren) Bilkul sahi kaha Bhai, class toh main zarur lagaun ga aapki. Aur saath saath punishment bhi miley gi aap dono ko.
Viren: Punishment?
Vayansh: Kaisi punishment?
Viraat: (smiles at them) Kal Mehndi ki function mein aap dono mere saath chaleinge.
Viren: (standing up/looking at Viraat, weirdly) Pagal hai kya? Ladies ki function hoti hai yeh.
Vayansh: (stands up as well) Haan, ladies function mein gaye toh pata nahi ladies humari kya halat kareingi.
Viren: (worriedly) Haan, Badi Maa toh bahut gussa kareingi, saath mein Jeevika bhi.
Viren & Vayansh: (sits back down) Nahi nahi, hum nahi jaiyein ge.
Viraat: Jaana padega. Maanvi mujhse gussa hai aap dono ki wajha se, Party chahiye thi na aap dono ko, (smiling widely) toh ab punishment bhi miley gi.
Viren: Maanvi ke gussa hone mein aur humare mehndi ke function mein jaane mein kya connection hai. Tu bhi na Viraat.
Viraat: (walking towards them) Connection hai na Bhai. Maanvi ne shart rakhi hai, agar main woh shart pura karunga toh woh mujhe maaf kar degi, (saddly) par agar nahi kiya toh punishment degi.
Vayansh: Kaisa shart?
Viraat: Yahi ki main usse sabse pehle mehndi aur haldi lagun.
Viren: Tu mehndi lagaye ga? Tujhe mehndi lagani aati hai?

Viren and Vayansh laughed out loud.

Viraat: (irritatedly) Zyada hasne ki zarurat nahi hai aap dono ko, woh main sambhal lunga. Mujhe kaunsi usse pure haathon mein mehndi lagani hai.
Viren: Haan sahi hai. Waise agar shart puri na ki toh punishment kya hoga?
Viraat: (looking at the floor) Woh..woh,,woh mujhse ek hafte tak baat nahi karegi.
Viren: Bas? Arey toh ek hafte ki hi toh baat hai, (lying sideways on the bed) yeh ladkiyon wale kaam hume shobha nahi deta Viraat. Chodh de shart ko.
Viraat: Nahi, main yeh shart pura karunga, main usse baat kare bina nahi reh sakta, aur shadi ki pehli raat, usse dur...
Vayansh & Viren: (Viren sat up, while Vayansh looked at Viren and then at Viraat ) KYA? KYA? KYA? KYA? KYA?

Viraat turned his back towards them, while cursing himself for blurting the second part of her condition.

Viraat: Kya? Kya. Kuch bhi toh nahi. Aap kal mere saath mehndi function mein chal rahein hai, bas. Good Night.

With that, he walked out of the room, without looking back. Viren and Vayansh looked at each other, confusedly.

Viren: (looking at Vayansh, confusedly) Kya kaha usne?
Vayansh: (confused) Pata nahi.

~Mehndi Night~

Viren: (irriatatedly) Dekh teri wajha se kya kya karna padta hai.

Viren, Viraat, and Vayansh, who were wearing saree's, were standing outside of the hall, where the ceremony was being held.

Vayansh: Viren Bhai, main toh kehta hun nikal lete hai yahan se, (worried/nervous agar pakde gaye toh bahut dant padegi.
Viren: Haan, chalo.

Viraat held Viren and Vayansh's hand, and pulled them back as they were about to leave.

Viraat: (still holding their hand) Sochna bhi mat. Aap dono ki wajha se main problem mein pada tha, aaj aap pakde jaoge toh meri taraf se return gift samjh lena. Aur yahan se bhagne ki sochna bhi mat, jab tak main Maanvi ko mehndi nahi laga deta, aap dono mere saath hi rahein ge.
Viren: Yaar, tu Chachu ko nahi le kar aa sakhta tha?
Viraat: Maine dono Chachu ko saree tak pehna di thi, par woh chupke se bhag nikle. Toh sirf aap dono hi option list mein available the, ab yahan se jaane ki koshish bhi mat karna, warna main chilaungi.
Vayansh: (chuckles) Tum ladies ki dress pehen kar apne aapko sach mein ladki samjhne lage ho kya Viraat? Its not chilaungi, its chilaunga.
Viraat: (smiles sarcastically at him) Sirf main hi nahi, tum bhi chilaogi. Ab aap dono apna acha sa naam soch lo, hume andar jaana hai.
Viren: Naam? Mere paas already ek naam hai, (smiles) Viren.
Viraat: Ladki bane ho Bhai aap, thode ladki wale naam socho.
Vayansh: Ladki wale naam. Main yeh toh janta tha ki ek din mujhe ladki ke naam sochne honge, par yeh nahi janta tha ki khud ke liye hi sochne padegein.
Viren: Haan, maine bhi sirf apni Beti ke naam soche the, kabhi socha nahi tha ki khud ke liye ladki wale naam sochna padega.
Viraat: Arey toh thik hai na, aisa karte hai, woh hi naam rakhte hai, jo hum apne Beti ka rakhein gein.
Viren: (smiles widely) Main toh Virika hi rakhunga. Viren and Jeevika ki Virika.
Viraat: (smiles) Wah Bhai.
Vayansh: (frowns) Meri toh abhi shadi bhi nahi hui, mujhe apni Patni ka naam hi nahi pata, Beti ka kaise sochun?
Viren: Arey koi toh naam hoga.
Vayansh: (poutingly) Nahi hai.
Viraat: Ok, toh main tumhara naam karan kar deta hun. Tumhara naam hoga (thinking) ...Umm...(looking at Vayansh, with raise eyebrow) Palak thik hai?
Vayansh: I guess.
Viraat: Good. (smiles) Aur meri Beti ka naam hoga Mannat. Meri aur Maanvi ki Mannat.
Viren & Vayansh: Wah...
Viraat: Acha ab chalo.

Viraat, with Vayansh and Viren after covering their head with their saree, walked inside the hall, where the function were being held. Viraat looked up and saw his Maanvi, looking gorgeous in her lehenga saree, with her hair braided with flowers on it, and jewelries made with roses and flowers, making her look even more beautiful. He was lost in her beauty, she was looking just like an angel. Vayansh was also looking at Maanvi, he tried to look away, but he couldn't. On the other hand Viren was lost in Jeevika, she was also looking as pretty as Maanvi, in her green, magenta net lehenga saree, her hair left open on her side, with matching jewelries.

Viren, Viraat, and Vayansh exchanged a worried glance.

Viren: (whisperes) Maanvi ne sabko bata diya tha kya ki hum yahan aane wale hai?
Viraat: (whisperes back) Mujhe nahi pata Bhai.
Vayansh: (worriedly/whisperes) Ab kya hoga?
Vanshika Maa: Arey tum teeno aise khadi kyun ho? Aao aur humari Bahu ko mehndi lagao.
Viren: (worriedly/whisperes) Inhe toh sab pata hai. Tu yahan saree pehna kar hume, humari izzat utarne laaya hai kya?
Viraat: Arey mujhe nahi pata tha, ki inhe pata hai. Warna main thodi yahan saree pahen kar aata, aap ke saath meri bhi izaat utare gi na Bhai.
Vayansh: Mom mujh par bahut hasegi, woh hamesha se ladki chahti thi, mujhe ladkiyon ke kapdon mein dekh kar toh bahut taane maregi.

Maanvi smiled evilly as she recognized Viraat, along with Viren, but was still confused about the third person. Jeevika was just looking at the three figure infront of her, confusedly.

Maanvi: (to herself/looking at Jeevika) Dekhlo Di, apne Devar aur Pati Dev ji ko saree mein, baar baar aisa mauka nahi aaye ga.
Swamini Bua: Arey ab aao bhi, waise bhi bahut der ho gaye hai tum logo ko aane mein, hum kab se intezaar kar rahein hai.
Vayansh: (worried/scared) Viraat, Viren Bhai, chalo bhaag nikalte hai, warna sach mein izzat jaiye gi, (looking around the hall, through his saree) woh bhi itni saari ladkiyon ke samne.
Viraat: Main Maanvi ko mehndi lagaye bina kaise chala jaun?
Viren: Viraat, tujhe rukna hai toh tu rok, hum chale, hume humari izzat bahut pyaari hai.
Badi Beeji: Kya re, itna sharma kyun rahi ho tum teeno? Yahan koi ladka nahi hai, sab ladkiyan hain, sharmane ki zarurat nahi hai.
Kadambari Chachi: Haye ni, aao jaldi, sabko mehndi lagwani hai.
Viraat: (smiles) Bhai, mujhe lagta hai ki yeh hume mehndi lagane wali samjh rahin hai.
Viren: Haan, shayad. Ab chalo aage, warna unhe shak ho jaye ga.

Viren, Viraat, and Vayansh walked where Maanvi and Jeevika were sitting with Pinky Chachi and Kadambari Chachi.

Pinky Chachi: Dulhan ke pure haath mehndi se bhar dena samjhi? (looking at all three of them) Waise kaun lagaye ga meri Bacchi ko mehndi?
Viraat: (in a girly tone) Ji main.
Viren: (in a girly tone) Haan ji, yeh lagaye gi.
Kadambari Chachi: Thik hai, (pointing at Viren) toh tum yahan humari ghar ki badi Bahu ko mehndi lagao.
Viren/Virika: JI.
Pinky Chachi: (looking at Vayansh) Aur tum aa kar meri haathon mein lagao.
Kadambari Chachi: Aur fir mere haathon mein.
Vayansh/Palak:Ji.
Jeevika: Waise yeh aapne apna sir kyun dhaka(covered) hua hai?
Viren/Virika: Ji, humare yahan riwaz hai.
Jeevika: Oh acha.

Viren sat beside Jeevika, who was looking at him weirdly. Vayansh walked towards Pinky Chachi and Kadambari Chachi, who were sitting together, looking very exticed. Viraat walked towards Maanvi and sat beside her, as she gave him a evil smile.

Viraat/Mannat: (hand extended infront of her) Apna haath laiye na.
Maanvi: (arms across her chest) Nahi.
Viraat/Mannat: Ji? Kya?
Maanvi: Mujhe mehndi nahi lagani.
Jeevika: Kyun? Kya hua Mannu?
Maanvi: (looking at Viraat with a smirk) Di, mera bas lagane ka mann nahi hai.
Viraat/Mannat: (sweetly) Dekhiye mehndi lagana padega, yeh rasam hoti hai.
Maanvi: Mujhe lagani nahi hai.
Jeevika: Mannu, sirf mehndi hi toh hai, lagale na.
Viraat/Mannat: Haan, aap dulhan hai, aapko lagana hi padega.
Maanvi: (smiles) Thik hai, main mehndi lagwane ke liye taiyaar hun. Aap log mujhe mehndi laga sakhte hai, par mujhe pakadne ke baad.

Maanvi got up and started running away from Jeevika, Viraat, and everyone else.

Kadambari Chachi: Arey pakdo.

Kadambari Chachi, with Pinky Chachi, Jeevika, Viren, Viraat, Vayansh, and some other girls started chasing Maanvi. While all the old ladies laughed looking at the scene before them Finally, after so much running, Pinky Chachi and Kadambari Chachi catched Maanvi, with henna cone in their hand, standing on each side of her. They were just about to apply the mehndi on her hands, Viraat came in between and held her hand in his. As he was about to apply the mehndi on her hand, she smiled and ran away yet again.

Maanvi: (shaking her head negatively, slowly) Na Na Na Na...(smiles, while nodding) Ho Na Ji Na Na...(showing her palms to everyone) Mehndi Mehndi na mujhko lagana, mujhe saajan ke ghar nahi jaana...(ran towards Jeevika/shaking her head negatively) Ho Na Na Na Na, Ho Na Ji Na Na...(held Jeevika's hands and spinned her around) Mehndi Mehndi na mujhko lagana, (walking towards Viren/Vayansh) mujhe saajan ke ghar nahi jana...(blushingly, hand on her chest) Chahe kuch bhi kahe dil deewana, (hands on a shocked/worried Viren) dil ki baaton mein mujhe nahi aana, (walking next to Vayansh) Ho chahe kuch bhi kahe dil deewana, (hits her shoulder with his) dil ki baaton mein mujhe nahi aana. (running in the middle of the hall) Na Na Na Na, Ho Na Ji Na Na...(swaying her hips/showing her palms while nodding negatively) Ho Mehndi Mehndi na mujhko lagana, mujhe sajan ke ghar nahi jaana.

Maanvi started dancing alone, moving her hips, with her arms in the air, while Viraat was lost in her completely. Maanvi stopped dancing as she saw Jeevika, Kadambari Chachi, Viren/Vrirka, Vayansh/Palak, and Pinky Chachi were standing around her, blocking her way, by holding hands in a circle. She looked at Viraat and waved at him, while he looked confused. Everyone turned their head towards Viraat/Mannat, while Maanvi sneaked out from there, towards him and hid herself behind him.

Maanvi: (grabbed his saree's pallu, which was covering his face) Main toh...(covering her head with his saree, as he was pulling away from her) Ghunghat mein chal gayi, chunri, (moving his saree from her face) mujhse lipat gayi...

Viraat looked at her, while she covered her face yet again, but with her own dupatta.

Maanvi: Main toh...Ghunghat mein chal gayi chunri, (uncovering her face) mujhse lipat gayi. (ran towards Jeevika) Neend na aaye mujhe, (ran towards Kadambari Chachi/hands spread out) jaag main jaun kahin, (hiding herself behind Pinky Chachi) luk chup jaun, (running towards Viren) kahin bhaag main jaun. (turns towards Viraat) Kahan se aaya, (walking towards him) jaane kahan le jaye yeh...(smiles) rasta aanjaana. (finally reached where Viraat was, her back touching his/blushing) Chahe kuch bhi kahe dil deewana, (hits her back with his) dil ki baaton mein mujhe nahi aana. (rans infront of him/shaking her head negatively with a smile) Na Na Na Na, Na Ji Na Na...(showing palms to him) Ho Mehndi Mehndi na mujhko lagana mujhe (walking backwards, while nodding negatively) sajan ke ghar nahi jaana.

Maanvi started doing bhangra(punjabi dance steps) as the dhol started playing. She bumped into Viraat, as she was spinning around. Viraat protectively held onto Maanvi's waist.

La La La La La...La La La La..La La La, Hm Hm Hm Hmmm...

Maanvi and Viraat moved back, as Jeevika came there, and held onto her hand.

Maanvi: (gets away from her grip/moving backwards) Main toh oo, oo ,oo...(hands spread out, spinning) Jaadu ki pudhiya, (stops spinning/cutely smiles) main toh, shishe ki gudhiya.

She ran towards Badi Beeji, and hugged her from back.

Maanvi: (moves infront of her) Main toh, (pretending to do magic with her hands) jaadu ki pudhiya, main toh (cutely, fluttering her eyelashes) shishe ki gudhiya. (pretending to be mad) Ruth na jaun kahin, (pouts) tut na jaun, (rans towards Jeevika) chalun saath saheli, (hugs her tightly) main na jaun akeli. (walking towards Viraat) Chup na rahungi, (holds his hand) sajan se kahun gi tu...(tilt her head sideways, with a smile, while Viraat looked down, pulling his pallu down) paas na aana. (walking around the room, after leaving his hand) Chache kuch bhi kahe dil deewana, dil ki baaton mein (nodding her head, negatively) mujhe nahi aana. (poutingly, nodding) Na Na Na Na..Na Ji Na Na...Ho Mehndi Mehndi na mujhko lagana, mujhe sajan ke ghar nahi jaana.

Maanvi started running around, after sticking her tongue out at them, as they ran behind her again.

After all that running session, Maanvi sat down and looked at everyone, who were panting badly.

Maanvi: (smilingly, looking at everyone) Thak gaye aap sab? (pouts cutely) Ab mujhe mehndi kaun lagaye ga?

Viraat walked towards Maanvi, held her hand in his, and applied the mehndi on her hand; writting his name on her palm. Maanvi smiled looking at her future husband, who's face was still covered with the saree.

~*~Suniye?

Everyone turned their face towards the enterence, where stood four girls holding a little bag.
Swamini Bua: Kahiye?

1st Girl: Ji woh, hum mehndi lagane aaye hain. Sorry hume thodi der ho gayi.
Swamini Bua: Par yahan toh (looking at Viren/Viraat/Vayansh, confusedly) already hai teen mehndi designer hai.
2nd Girl: JI, lekin bulaya toh hume gaya tha yahan mehndi lagane ke liye.
Badi Beeji: (shocked/confused) Kya? (looking at V'V'V) Toh yeh teeno kaun hai?

Viraat, Vayansh, and Viren exchanged looks, where as Maanvi was controlling her laughter.

1st Girl: Hume nahi pata, hum toh yahan abhi abhi aaye hain.
Kadambari Chachi: Haaye Rabba, kaun ho tum teeno?
Sneha: (shernly) Chalo, apne apne ghunghat uthao.
Pinky Chachi: Chalo chalo, uthao.

Viraat, Viren, and Vayansh slowly lifted up the dupatta off of their face, looking down in embarrassment.

Vanshika Maa: (shocked) Viraat?
Swamini Bua: (surprised) Viren?
Sneha: (confused) Vayansh?

Everyone else started laughing, including Maanvi and Jeevika, but the four ladies, who were looking shocked and angery.

Swamini Bua: (angerily) Yeh sab kya hai Viren? Viraat?
Viraat: Bua woh...
Vanshika Maa: Woh kya Viraat?
Viren: Maa woh, hume mehndi ki ceremony dekhni thi, (looking down) toh hum ladki ban kar aa gaye.

All burst out laughing, and this time even Vanshika Maa, Beeji, Sneha, and even Swamini Bua started laughing.

Sneha: (in between her laughs) Wah, aaj mujhe apne Bete mein Beti dikhai de rahi hai.
Vanshika Maa: (laughingly) Mujhe bhi nahi pata tha, ki mere paas sirf do Betiyan nahi chaar Betiyaan hai.
Swamini Bua: (smiles) Acha ab mehndi lagana shuru karte hai. Waise bhi bahut time nikal gaya hai.

The mehndi designers walked, where Maanvi, Jeevika, Pinky Chachi, and Kadambari Chachi were sitting, and started applying mehndi on their palm. Viraat, Viren, and Vayansh took off their saree, as they were wearing their normal clothes under it.

Maanvi: (smiles at Jeevika) Di maza aaya na?
Jeevika: Haan Mannu, (laughing) Viren JI saree mein.
Maanvi: (laughingly) Exactly, maine toh sirf Viraat ko punish kiya tha, par Jiju bhi.
Jeevika: Matlab yeh tera idea tha?
Maanvi: Haan Di, yeh mera hi idea tha. Actually badla tha, kisi aur ladki ke saath dance karne ke liye.
Jeevika: (smiles) Very good Mannu, acha kiya, issi bahane Viren Ji ko bhi punishment mil gayi.
Kadambari Chachi: Haye ni Maanvi, mujhe bhi batana tha na, main bhi inhe yahi punishment deti.
Pinky Chachi: Main bhi.
Maanvi: Sorry meri pyaari Chahiyon.
Kadambari Chachi: Koi gal nahi, (blushingly) waise bhi unhone pehle se hi kafi kar diya hai.

Viren: (looking at Viraat, angerily) Khush toh bahut hoga tu. Humari izzat akhir uthar gayi na in ladkiyon ke samne.
Viraat: Of course Bhai. Yeh aap dono ki punishment thi, mujhe (showing his two fingers) do baar phasane ki.
Vayansh: (looking around, embarassed) Yeh punishment bahut sharamnak tha.
Viren: Haan, tha toh.
Viraat: Ki farak painda hai?

Finally, Maanvi's hands were fulled with mehndi, applied beautifully. Jeevika, Kadambari Chachi, and Pinky Chachi's were still half way done. Maanvi looked back and found the dori of her blouse open, she got up to leave towards a room.

Maanvi: Di, main abhi aayi.
Jeevika: Kahan jaa rahi hai Mannu?
Maanvi: Woh, apne kamre mein, mujhe kuch kaam yaad aa gaya.
Jeevika: (smiles) Thik hai Jaa.

Viraat, sneakingly, followed Maanvi, as he saw her leaving.

Maanvi entered the room, and walked towards the mirror, turning her back towards the mirror. She raised her hands to tied it up, as she saw her opened dori in the mirror. She looked at her hands, which hand mehndi applied on it and mentally slapped her head.

Maanvi: Of ho Mannu, (frowningly, looking at her palm) tere haathon mein mehndi lagi hai, tujhe apne saath kisi ko lana chahiye tha na. (looking at her back, through the mirror) Ab main yeh dori kaise band karun?

Just then Viraat walked in the room, closing the door behind him. She turned towards him, looking at him questionally.

Maanvi: Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?
Viraat: (smiles) Main, apni hone wali Biwi se milne aaya hun. Kyun koi problem hai?
Maanvi: Woh yahan nahi hai, (turns her back towards him) chalo jao yahan se.
Viraat: Nahi hai? (smirks) Chalo koi nahi, main toh uske saath thoda romance karne aaya tha, (walking towards her) par tum bhi chalo gi.
Maanvi: (turning to face him) Kya?
Viraat: Its ok Baby, usse kabhi pata nahi chalega.
Maanvi: (glaring at him) Acha?
Viraat: Yes.
Maanvi: (smiles sarcastically) Aur agar main usse bata dun toh?
Viraat: She loves me a lot, (poked her nose) woh tumhari baaton par yakeen nahi karegi.
Maanvi: Oh.

Viraat leaned towards her lips and was just about to kiss her, Maanvi lightly stomped on his foot.

Viraat: (jumped up) Ouch Maanvi...
Maanvi: (hands on her hips/angerily) Chep, baki ladkiyon ke saath bhi yahin dialogues marte ho?
Viraat: (smiles) Nahi, tum kisi aur ko mere kareeb aane hi nahi deti. (winks)

Maanvi shot a angery glance at Viraat.

Viraat: (both hands raised in the air) Mazak tha Maanvi.
Maanvi: (turns her back towards him) I Hate You.

Viraat slowly moved his fingers on her bare back, and started making patterns on her back. Making her lose all her senses in his mere touch, all her anger melted at his touch.

Viraat: (huskily) But I Love You.

Viraat started placing soft kisses on her neck, moving down to her shoulder and back. Maanvi gulped hard and closed her eyes tightly, as his lips moved against her soft skin.

Maanvi: (eyes closed/heartbeat increasing) Vir..aat..

He wrapped on of his hand around her waist, and turn her around with his other hand.

Viraat: (looking into her eyes) I Love You.
Maanvi: Meri ek aur shart abhi baki hai.
Viraat: (smiles) Don't worry, main tumhari dusri shart bhi zarur puri karunga.
Maanvi: Acha?
Viraat: Haan. Par kal toh humari sangeet hai, main chahta hun ki tum mujhe kal ke liye, (cutely) sirf kal ke liye maaf kar do.
Maanvi: Thik hai, aaj tumne ek shart complete kiya, uske liye main tumhe kal tak ke liye maaf karti hun.
Viraat: (happily) Thank You.
Maanvi: Ab chale?
Viraat: Haan, chalo.

Viraat stopped Maanvi as she turned around to leave.

Viraat: Ek mintue.
Maanvi: (confused) Kya hua?

Viraat placed his hands on her shoulder and turned her around, her back facing him. He raised his hands towards the dori of her blouse and tied it.

Viraat: (close to her ear) Tumhe aise dekhne ka haq, kisi aur ka nahi hai. Sirf aur Sirf tumhare Hone Wale Pati ka hai. Mr. Viraat Singh Vadhera ka. Samjhi?
Maanvi: (smiles at him) Would be Mrs. Maanvi Viraat Singh Vadhera samjh gayi.

Viraat smiled at her cuteness, he wrapped his hand around her shoulder, and walked out of the room, after opening the locked door.
