The episode was good. People do mistakes when they are angry. Both Mohan and Megha did a mistake and we should learn from it. What good is a show if it doesn't have something to teach.

Fari,

I Agree, Agree, Agree with you! This was the weakest possible reason to part ways! Very poorly written, (though very well enacted by lead actors) ridiculous and half-baked idea! I don't understand how they simply parted ways when they needed each other's support the most!

Ah, now out beloved NBT has fit the bill of pukka 'TRP raising soaps' !🤢

Great thoughts by @Fari.

When I saw the word mutilation, I imagined a few headless trunks roaming around. Ultimately realized that they were my own trunks roaming with my head trying to figure out "was this the reason" for a 12 year separation.

Both Megha and Mohan were to blame. If Megha had any doubt about his parenting abilities, she should not have married him in the first place or atleast in the 2 years of marriage she should have figured out that Mohan is comfortable with Nanhi and she should have handled Addu.

As for Mohan he went with a promise of returning with Addu, but for 12 years one is away and has not bothered to communicate with one's wife and daughter. That is irresponsible.

In the end they both don't deserve each other. Ultimately the saving grace is that they have been true to characters from Season 1. Megha always taking Mohan for granted and Mohan acting on impluse especially in matters involving relations.

I guess the makers are trying to balance the story and TRPs a bit better compared to Season 1.

Ultimately those first 100 episodes of Season 1 remain the vintage ones which I personally will treasure.

Will watch season 2 in a detached manner and independent from season 1.

Completely agree with each and every word of u fari...I don't find d story line impressive...season 1 mein b they didn't showed megha's side of d story(how she has fallen for mohan) clearly...n now they are showing d bits and pieces of FB..where they didn't even utter d reason of separation loudly..where d hell d vyas family disappeared..when Mohan was going away...n now Mohan goes to another place and lives there with an adopted child...n he worries silently in d night...it is shown dat he is in pain..n now y Megha has become like a doll??n above all...I am not liking d fact..dat d importance is not given to MM anymore...out of 2 and half hours(In d last week)..only 1 hour or 45 minutes is given to MM...n d rest goes to nanhi..n her sting operations n tannu's match making...n now rimjhim..and I am able to enjoy her part only..don't know what will happen to me...when they start nanhi's lub story..🤔

I hear you Fari, I totally hear you. Mutilation beyond recognition is what the CV's have done. I was never in favor of the leap and today I know why. Is there any show in Indian Television that has had a leap which has gone down smoothly with the viewers? Has there been a leap where everything has made sense? The answer is NO.

Neelu, there might not be any show which has answered our criteria of sane telly but is it too much to hope for?? Should we become so immunized to this kind of stuff that we shouldn't even expect to get pleasantly surprised by the makers of our fav show? A decade or two back, this trend might have been set, and everyone has been following the same template ever since but the world have changed and the society has changed a lot since then. There has to come a breaking point for all this, some show which will keep on setting new trends to follow for the others...i just thought NBT makers might be the ones but anyways...

This show is no different. In my opinion both, Mohan & Megha need their heads knocked big time. Megha, for seriously doubting Mohan's parenting abilities. Ok I agree Mohan hasn't really proved himself as an ideal father, but come on she has seen his love and absolute devotion to Nanhi. Does that mean that all this while Mohan's love for Nanhi was a drama? And what is the guarantee that had she married Manav or even someone else, both her kids would have been happy? Maybe in that case Nanhi would have been the one suffering. Sorry but she is as responsible as Mohan. When she knows Addu does not get along with Mohan why leave him with Mohan? She should have known by now that Mohan is more responsible with Nanhi.

absolutely agreed! megha mohan's head should be bashed into the writer's head 😆 why didn't he think of all this? because soap writers live in the world which borders & exists on the "non-sensical"

As for Mohan, he promises to come back only when he finds Addu! What kind of a promise is that? By making such a promise and actually not returning for 12 years he proved that he is irresponsible. To live away from your family for 12 years just for a promise, sounds so good in books, TV and movies but real life is NOT that easy. He should have stayed on and supported Nanhi & Megha. Yes Megha would have been mad at him for a few weeks but after that she would have seen that he alone is not to blame in Addu's disappearance. Did it not occur to him that once he leaves there will be no one to look after Megha & Nanhi? Now, I understand Nanhi's bitterness. It makes sense to me. She might forgive him for being irresponsible towards her brother but will never forgive him for abandoning them.

exactly my sentiments!

The makers and Channel are hell bent upon trying a formula that is going to assure them trp's. But as a viewer I feel let down and disappointed. And NO the excuse that this is a serial and this is what you'll get is JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!

@bold

for me too...i am not buying it !

Two things I've learnt

1) Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 1 was an original which is OVER! This show is nothing but a shadow of it. I am gonna view this show separately from season 1.

2) The worst is perhaps over. Now that they've shown the reason for separation things might improve from here. Like Subha, said let's ignore the reason of separation and we might just enjoy the show a little more.

better than hoping, i am going to believe and watch this show with this mantra - "the worst is yet to come" 😆

a leap always makes story line weak and transformation in characters...i am not disappointed by the reason given for seperation as i didnot expect much from them😉...

Megha is shattered! right, she says that she remembers Addu's crying face on seeing Mohan, yes true...so Mohan leaving there would havebeen atleast better than Megha saying she did a mistake in marrying him, he is not layak to be a father for her children etc etc...😲

accept that Megha was shattered that time...but in these 12years, she is still with hatred on Mohan?, never try to reduce hatred of Nanhi?...if Mohan gets Addu back and proves himself, will that 12 years hatred will get reversed and everything go smooth...😕

NBT ss1 focus on Widow remarriage and now NBT ss2 focus on widow with children shouldnot remarry (there is going to be no trust on the new entry in the family)...

we should leave all those logics and giving work to our brains...just go on for the performances and the lil NBTish moments...😊

yep Asha, we better not sit in expectation of this season being the conveyor of any good message other than that "we all do mistakes and gradually rectify them"

so will just have to watch it for the rectification

I will not blame the characters, they are just pawns in the hands of the makers.
People at the creative helm seem authority in their field, why did they fall short.
Well the only question I ask - Is it so wrong to expect some logic from a television show ?

Lekz 🤗 🤗 🤗

yep it seems wrong somehow but is not wrong, definitely not wrong. Kabhi na kabhi tou ghalat trend khatam hoga, due to the high expectations of the viewers.

high expectations lagana ghalat nahi hai ... especially after the classic season 1
