He's right. I completely agree with him. Religion is the biggest scourge on earth since time immemorial, it has caused death, war, famine and all forms of sadness. Even in 2012, we have religion-based controversies happening. Why? Because people are so blinded by religion. What he said is the absolute truth.

Yes, come bash me too.😆😆

I wouldn't bash anyone. But it's a poor statement on television. Respect each one's individual preference but this statement is hurting for people who take religion seriously.

Chances are it won't even be aired. But its not like he said Hinduism has made people slaves or Islam has made people slaves. He just said religion is the biggest form of slavery implying all forms of organized religions. There's nothing wrong with what he said either, every other day we hear some religious related death in the news. Its a total shame that no one speaks about it even though its so rampant.

I agree with him as well. We have seen people killing each other, spreading hatred, violence, blindly following religious leaders, religious orientated scams especially in India, superstitions, taboos, discrimination, and many more cons associated with any religion. It indeed sometimes seem like slavery especially to those who can't see eye to eye with many aspects of a religion.

It has it's positive side as well, but I can't keep a blind eye to the negatives which are a product of blindly following something without looking left or right. Religion or should I say spirituality, since that is more what I follow, is supposed to be something very personal, a guide to become a better person. But at times, people use religion for the wrong reasons.

Anyways, big debate. But being on a public platform and expressing his views is commendable. At least he has the guts to mention out loud his inner thoughts on the topic 👏

I think before commenting on religion and all that he should be washing his face, brushing his teeth and releiving his constipated look.
If this goon is a model and what girls drool over then I must say they need to check their eyesight. Such a person is fit to stand outside some bank in chaddi and shirt and say "good morning shaab ji".
What a pathetic loser this guy his.

And commenting on Niketan's facial features makes you less of a goon I assume?

Why is religion such a taboo subject? Why can't he comment on it? Do you have to be some sort of a scholar to comment on it?

I think not.

I agree too.. & that its a controversial statement!
Tho Im hindu n honor it... even follow it to certain level...
I see life beyond religion n respect all religions & good in all..
Religion is limits person from bigger meaning of life & god...
Worse is religious fanatics misuse this to mislead wrong meanings..
N some ppl hide behind religion to make statement esp political parties!
