Strength of KS...

Every TV soap has some strong USP which keeps the show running and public is always glued to the TV sets.... Kyuniki started in 2000 and is still running -- their USP - Amar Uphadhya & Smriti Irani (The great Tulsi Virani).. and now it's Hiten Tejawani & Guari Pradhan (Karan/Nandani)... Kashish/Sujal of Kahin to Hoga -- etc...

Some stories are just so strong that it makes the show come together - which was the case with Astitva, Ek Prem Kahani... All the actors playing the characters became so popular... Their character was so well written that the actor can really sink into the role... Dr. Simran will always be one of those character that will stay with us for a long time...

I wonder about Kasamh Se -- The story started off fine - about 3 sisters and their journey together. Along came Jai Walia and his kingdom... and the story picked up. So many twist and turns have made it's way since then and today we love Bani & Jai Walia so much.... SO much so that anyway trying to seperate them will the best worest person - in the eyes of the audience... Now that's serious devotion or should I say drama...😉

And so I wonder... is Kasamh Se strong enough to hold us with it's drama (with all those twist & turns) or is Jai & Bani angle keeping us glued and bring us to this forum everyday? If it's Jai & Bani than we will have a problem continuing this forum - since the makers & writers are so hell blent on seperating them... My personal hope is the writers should really take some time in developing a character -- making it as realistic as possible i.e., Bani!!

i know its jai and bani for me...they are the reason i am glued to the forum...and of course because of the people in the forum anfd bcoz the forum rockz!!!

Cant agree more that the characters should be as realistic as possible. I cant imagine any woman going to the extent that Bani does. This is borderline insanity and is on the verge of stupidity. Does she think that by hiding what Jigs n Ranveer r doing is going to do any good for Jai ? How long can she do that ? Its better if he comes to know of this as soon as possible so that he can take care of the situation. Afterall he is supposed to be a business tycoon, I am sure he can handle the situation better than Bani can. Would save us all the trouble of seeing them apart and losing a baby, not worth it at all. 😡

I agree, u know what, if they seperate jai and bani, I doubt if this will continue, becous in todays society , we have very less ethic left in life, atleast i wish to see ppl like bani and jai, fighting for truth having powerfull character. Not the kinds of one night stand and emotional fulls, doing all rubbish things just because they where emotionally broken.

I think ppl want to see good character ppl, whom they can look upto in life and feel good about them. I just hate to see cross relationships and 1 night stands in serials, becouse i dont want that to happen with me or my love once.

U love a person, u fight with him, u do all wrong things with him but just cannot have a relationship out of marriage/commitment. na not at all acceptable.

So If KS hold both the characters strong enought to fight against all the odd in life, It will surly click. They need to remember that anything if stretch beyond its capacity it will break, so that does with audience also, if they stretch this jai-bani upset series longer , they would certainly lose there audience .

SO KS Team get them together soon. We want to be happy to see KS not upset to see KS, as such real life has many thing to upset u, at least make our entertainment entertain us.

It seems to me - for the sake of story & Bani Walia -- they are making her look like a superwoman... She can do just about anything that a normal person can only dream of....

The only real character that I have seen thus far in the show is Jigz & Rano... Pia has her days... But Jigz character shows why she's a vamp and why she cares so much for her brother... For me, she would have won the best loving sister had it not been for Jai's wealth... 😆

I simply watch KS because I'm fida over the Jai and Bani jodi...that is when they are actually in the SAME frame together.

I think there are so many angles they can explore (the creatives) while keeping the essence of the couple together. You're right, I think when KS started, it was supposed to be the story of three sisters and their trials and tribulations, but I suspect somewhere along the way, the magic of Jai and Bani became so strong that the tracks had to change. Credit for that has to go to the actors who brought these two characters to such life that we are hooked. The reason we watch now is that we live in the hope they will get back together. What the creatives don't realize though is that eventually the audience will move on if they don't get what they want. This track has gone on for almost three months - and all we have seen is bitterness, tears, anger, hatred and now jealousy that is to start. Yet I thought the whole essence of any of these serials is supposed to be love. I don't see any love and haven't seen any for a long time. The self-sacrificing Bani is NOT love - she's just plain dumb. And she doesn't exist in real life. This is the true problem of KS. Jai Walia is real - men like him exist in day to day life. Women like Bani do not. Certainly not in today's world. This had started as a modern take on life and the interaction between real-life characters. I'm sorry, but no woman will be so self-sacrificing in life no matter how much you claim to love someone.

Rajkona -- I completely agree with you -- Having said that -- my next question is -- are the makers/writers/ trying to convnice the audience to be more like our dear Bani? It's true -- as you stated -- Bani does not exsist... Even Prachi Desai playing the role of Bani would agree to this statement.. Is that the problem in our society - lack of Bani yet the world is full of Jai Walia...

Totally agreed with everyone's analysis of KS....
The magic of KS and the addiction for KS started for mw when JB got married.....Their characters were so built up that like the MB characters (used to lead a lot of MB books) that I got hooked!!! The characters were real as well - JW - a man with a strong value system, family oriented yet lonely because he never found his soulmate and BW a gentle middle class lady who had to act as mother, sister and father all rolled into one for her three sisters because of her mothers death and fathers drunkedness....It was the makings of a very sweet love story...How BW takes on Jai's wrath yet shows backbone to stand up to him in her quiet gentle way little by little winning his heart and utter trust....but then the creative team started to mess it all up.....The stupid PR RAAAZ was nothandled properly....they destroyed Bani's character by making her weak and a martyr after her realization that she loved JW.....JW in his Jaidas mode.....

I am still hoping that EKTA can be enlightened of how the audience feels about KS and can bring back the magic it held...The story has so much potential to move forward with the magic intact....

- Get JB together - clear up all the loopholes and misunderstandings
- Show that JB marriage as strong - they are soulmates with the same value system afterall...show them encountering and resolving problems together as a happily married couple should
- Show JB also to be on opposite side of different opinions yet totally in love and true to one another. This can be done by bringing in the Singhania's who used to be busines rivals with the Walia's and Bani working for her Grandfather or something yet happily married to Jai...something along those lines...They can be professional rivals with different opinions yet be a happily married couple...
- concentrate on bringing other couples to the limelight - such as Sahil and Rano, the taming of Ranvir by Raashi, Jigs and Aditya getting back together and JB playing matchmaker...

Ekta doesn't need to show nonsense, separation-together again and multitude of twists and misunderstandings to have a mindblowing serial on TV...Audiences want to see happiness as well not infidelities, miscarriages, rona dhona...TV is supposed to be a stress reliever....Make us smile again and laugh again as with the old JB scenes in KS - like the one where Masi tells Jai to ask Bani permission to leave the house to go to the office, the GOA scene, The scene where she calls him Kadhoos....

Ok sorry for the long post but - Ihope I haven't rambled on too much but needed to get my thoughts out...

All in all there are many possibilities to keep the magic alive and the TRPs up....EKTA and the Cratives just have to tap into their brains or the wonderful IF fanfics.....
