The End... I'm not looking too closely, but if I have one regret it's this- they had a couple of minutes to play with, why could we not have heard that lovely title song one last time? But it's not much of a quibble, not today when it was all so nice, so positive, so happily ever after... sundari transforms shaitan into her ideal rajkumar. What can be more quintessentially SKD?

I'll tell you what... Sari's absolutely beautiful post that is oh so poignant, J's Take 5 that completes the snarky, ROFL ride, the Spice Girls' mazeydaar thoughts one last time. It's been an amezing experience and Sari of course said it much, much better than I ever could... the show that drew many of us non-traditional soap non-watching gals together. The lead couple sizzled and captivated but for me the biggest part of this was getting together with a bunch of awesome gals online and shooting the breeze - about the show and all else ---- and sharthing! Thanks much for indulging me in my habit! ❤️❤️❤️

It began on Sush's thread ---- thanks a million, Sush for bringing us together---- and was cemented on Sari's hangout that became a virtual home. Thanks so much Sari - your eloquent posts outstripped the epis by far on many, many days and your warmth had us coming back each day.

To all the spice girls ----- thank you, thank you, thank you - fun times that I will cherish ⭐️

To the entire IPK team, thanks for the wonderful experience. 👍🏼👍🏼 👏👏👏

That said ---- never again, not another daily soap, not another IF experience, never so much involvement that now I feel hollow that it's all come to an end. IPK-IF was one of a kind. I need to get my life back! 😛

Rabbe Ve! Here's to much sanki-ness and Khushi to all (and Arnavji's for those without!) 😉

Just finished updating, IF was a nightmare today. Spent all evening to update this post, haven't read any responses.

Special thanks to Shalu and Beena Di for helping me with the pictures and mere nakre utaane keliye 😆

A warm rabba vey to you all my fellow sgs..

Reading your posts did something that the last episode of my favorite show could not.. I was sobbing as I was reading your posts.. Sari... Jamba, joey, meens, savvy, and the rest of the gang..thanks for making me relive each and every moment of the journey.. and towards the end I was feeling blessed for being part of a gang of gals all connected by the same fondness to an ordinary show which reached extraordinary heights.

IPK with all its highs and lows will remain one of my favorite shows of all times.. Each and every actor - the leads, the co-leads, the mamas mamis, nani, dadi, the villain, right down to the bakri played a stellar role in bringing alive some beautifully sketched characters and the 20 mins of the day spent with them, became the highlight of the day for me.. and an escape to this beautiful world of love. So a shout out to the entire team of IPK for this extraordinary journey. You managed to carve a niche for yourself in the world of hindi soaps.. by daring to be different and being successful at that. Thank you.

And this journey was made more enjoyable the day I became a reader of the SG hangout. The different takes, the fun in discussing and dissecting and just hanging out became a vital part of my day, and I thank each and every sg for that. You enriched my world and thank you so much for that.

On this last day, I take away with me an amazing story of love, and beautiful memories of the IPK team and the SG hangout.

I hate to say good byes.. and I believe that I made some very good friends here and I hate to part so here's a fav. quote of mine from Peter Pan.

"Never say good-bye because good-bye means going away, and going away means forgetting."

I cannot forget anyone so adieu, my fellow sgs.. till we meet again.. God Bless..

You opened the thread with the longest ever post??? Beautiful post sari...i had a huge lump in my throat ...thanks for giving us fitting end credits and an absolutely deserving farewell to ashow that touched us all...

I don't think the makers had any inclination about the extent of the effect of this show ...

It is indeed extremely difficult to let this go...and I realized no amount of reruns and YouTube is ever going to be enough...still trying to get on over my denial phase and hopefully I will smoothly sail into the acceptance phase...

Thanks everyone for wonderful takes on the episodes ...and to all the sarkidevis out here...take a bow, you have kept up the spirits when there was nothing to look forward to in the tracks...👏
