I missed Alka's comments on Divakar's expressions. I think that he sang
with a lot of feeling and that was acutally his strong point. I think that he
like all of the contestants can improve more in sur and voice range and
control. If expressions is defined by smiling and dancing during songs then
I find that requirement ridiculous. Lata never had to crack a smile to be the
nightingale of india so I don't really understand why this comes up. I found
his songs touching and not because he is blind -- I just liked his voice and
his rendering of the songs.

ok, i know u guys have all the time in the world to argue on the internet over a 12 year old boy, that's great but i dont argue about stupid things like these. oh and one more thing please go and look up the word "o-p-i-n-i-o-n", in the dictionary. i no u guys like divakar but i dont, its as simple as that, ok now i have to go, buh bye 😊

they did work with the kids for each of their episodes. i donot think they are working much with the kids (my assumption). Abhijeet had told diwakar that he did not sing as he had taught him for his round ....that was perfectly fine.....diwakar needs to be told where he goes wrong.

We have seen Alka yagnik's tone with Armaan, Gurpreet...okay theywere from the younger lot but even sanchita....her tone is little more stern with diwakar...and diwakar's replies to her comments leaves her speechless......she just doesn't know how to handle it. She is not able to treat him the way she treats all other children.

I completely agree about Divakar having amazing depth and emotion in his voice.

On another note, smiling while singing a happy song is what Hariharan told Aishwarya about in EMET, when he made a romantic song sound depressing.

Its called "mukhmilas" (i think) and it really adds expression to the song. So, when Alka told Sanchita to smile more, she was making sense! 😆

its sooooo sad!!! i wish they gave him a sufi song and maybe the judges wud hv liked it n kept him back! but u know he does hv a chance of coming back in amrit-varsha, probably like wild-card entry, like shaan said so i hope he comes! 😳
