TOI: Akanksha as Naitiks mystery girl

Star Plus's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, till date has successfully managed to grab larger eye balls with its interesting tracks. This family orientated show has conquered millions of heart over years now and will continue ruling the roast.

The makers (Directors Kut productions) are all set to introduce an interesting track, where Naitik's ( Karan Mehra) sweet and sour past will get revealed. For which they have roped inAkanksha Kapil to essay the character of Antara.

Now Let us put light on Naitik's past. Before marriage, while Naitik was out for his higher studies, he had a passing affair with this girl, Antara. Naitik and a passing affair? surprise!

Yes! you heard it correct, Antara is Naitik's ex girl friend and after a long time once again they both will come face to face.

That was not all enough as Antara will also stay at Singhania house along with her boy friend, Siddharth. On the other hand, Singhania's being an orthodox family finds it uncomfortable to be with Antara.

"Antara is a bubbly, chirpy and loud character, who will stay at Naitik's place for a while. It is a wonderful experience to be with Yeh Rishta cast which is full of warm and positivity," states Akanksha Kapil.

Akanksha has started shooting for this particular sequence from today.
