superb post Elyssia... You have said everything that i feel and the article too...

I don't have anything to say about cvs and all sadists who watches the show and are thrilled seeing V abusing Woman... i am not gonna dirty my self saying anything...

CV will never understand and I have given up of any positive in the show.

I appreciate BV who has maintained so beautifully each aspects of social negatives and how we can fight against them from 4 years consistently... I started watching this show thinking same message will be followed and we are getting great show ahead and loads of social messages to follow , i will be able site examples from this show like we do with BV even now. Jhanvi could have become Aandi a model, icon to all Woman but nahhh !!! all has crashed now. We get to see Evil, monster ruling while good suffering every time. Its frustrating to see the tags below that runs along with show about DV as no such motives is being showcased.

Even after glorifying V where are CVs getting great TRPs... they should learn from mahadev ... they have been able to garner 8.2 trp with consistent and balance in show though it has lot of flaws and no great actors working in this because they give equal justice to all characters.

CVs have failed big time now...🤢

It's frustrating, Svetalana. Just the thought of how the leap and everything will benefit V and not anyone else on the show is bothersome. But what makes my blood boil the more is how the channel promotes V as their outward face and not Sia.

At last a much needed article for the creatives of SB... Its high time our views are listened to than just heard!!!...add on to be considered too also.

"Saubhagyavathi Bhava?"... the question put in by the creatives and the channel which promoted it... has still left been unanswered.

I have to agree that the Creatives did a wonderful and applaud-able job when they voiced this issue with a gripping story and screenplay at the initial stages. But then down the lane somehow the sole voice of this whole issue got lost in the murmurs of glorifying the evil just because it garnered much more attention.

When I started watching this show I came with a view that here comes a story which many may connect to... the story which is so common yet not up in the open. It was more like a window to the gruesome world of DV that many of the Saubhagyavathis are put through each thriving day. And I was happy that it was being addressed in the first place. So yes I as a viewer had high hopes for this show. Thinking that it will give out a strong message to all those who go through this.

Their portrayal of Viraj as the mean husband who cannot see beyond himself and who inflicts all the possible pains to whosoever doubts his supremacy...was done with excellence... Yes it was needed to paint him with all the possible dark hues. Viraj's atrocities on Jahnvi were the ones that made a few of us sit back and ponder.. cause it showed the varied faces of DV... our heart reached out to Jahnvi then...wanting to rescue her so much so that I used to at certain time feel and wish that i could get get into my TV set and rescue her...So the initial scenes of atrocities were pretty much needed whatsoever. Creatives...You did a good job here.

The thing which propelled this show further was that Jahnvi after all the ways she tried to gather her bruised and scattered life, finally decided she could take it no more... And she dared to go put an end to it. escaping as few may say wasn't the most thoughtful thing to do.. But then ask any Jahnvi out there in the world and she would say "I would run away and hide till I gather enough strength to fight back"... this I say so confidently as I have come across a few such Jahnvis. So her going away and hiding was justified too. Creatives ... thanks for giving out a clear message that one has to break the shackles of tyranny and soon.

Then we had a track of hope being put in... And I loved it when they showed a helping hand emerge when Jahnvi had lost all hope and was rather still fighting the demons of her brutal past. I personally feel this track was needed because hope is what such victims are usually denied... hope of getting back to live the life as it was prior to the bad happenings..hope to see themselves strong again to face the world when it questions their choices in the name of customs and preachings.A hope that there may be a second chance at love and marital life too with the new found love later on...So Creatives...Good job here to for reaching out with a new message here.

But then these good writings and messages go down the drain when they make the whole story weighing on one character... which is not even the central character on whom the story should revolve. Yes Viraj is an important character and the one who propelled the wheels of the whole story to unfold... but then once Jahnvi got away from him... changed her identity to escape the threat she felt from her past... Siya and her journey from there on should have been the focus...which was clearly not shown up to the mark. Her emotional upheaval after running away... finding herself alone at every step in the new city... trying to find out ways to deal with everyday interactions with people which still left her fearful.All this could have been shown in far better manner... Creatives...when you could come up with the perfect portrayal of the atrocities then why not of the later emotional turmoil... isn't that a crucial part of a DV victim's life?

Even her finding solace n support in Raghav was such a good track...that brought hope and a message that such people do need support... they cannot fight back on their own at least the first few fights.Raghav became her strength... but then this track was rushed in to accommodate the return of her fears in from of Viraj again...As if giving out the message...run wherever you may but you past shall follow you... that itself sounds so creepy... Creatives...Why show hope when u want to rob it off in a few days time?

And then I thought maybe they introduced this track of the return to show that Siya had become stronger... But alas I had pinned high hopes... she was belittled in her every effort there on... Viraj was always shown overshadowing her with first tricking her into believing the whole amnesia track and then when the mask teared off , Siya was still seen not retaliating in the same fervor as she should have. It was as if at every step she was taking the beating even if by words she meant not to. Yes we did see Siya lash out on him even slap him thunderously..and we were happy ..but only for that particular episode for then they were ready to burst our bubble with again dishing out the antics of Viraj.Creatives you let us down here.

Then came the track of Siya ad Raghav teaming up to send Viraj behind bars and setting Siya free of her marital life through the much needed divorce... but here again at each step the evil was glorified... Yes Viraj can have an upper hand ...but only at times...not always!!!... He had his ways in Manali courtesy to his so called "Dobriyal " legacy there but to show him being able to pull all kind of evil stunts in a new city too was a bit far fetched. Then finally when they showed Siya win over the case and get divorced...that should have been the high point right?... but no it had no fizz.. the most hoped for court scene was rushed up, rather squeezed in...n for what?... just to show the abuser enjoying his gourmet meal?... Well the creatives really had their priorities mixed up before, but this was unacceptable... What were the Creatives thinking?... that just because the evil is intriguing people would love to watch what comes their way???... the certain Saubhagayvatis who have faced the DV would never want to see it turn out like that...Even a majority of the viewers too would have wanted to see the justice met in a proper manner and played out in detail. More so because this was not just her any other day struggle...but rather her most important day at getting her life back with no strings attached to Viraj legally anymore... Now she would be free... But we could not savor this victory, we were served with another dosage of Viraj's rampage.Creatives you let us down here...high-time!!!!

Just as we saw her trying to get back at her life after the divorce, trying to realize her priorities and feelings... we had the Great Escape!!!... Viraj was back to strike again... What is with them bringing in despair every time the hope is just around the corner.So a wrong message being sent out here again...Do they not get this straight?..."No!!! Evil cannot always win by all means continuously!!!" Creatives what is actually cooking in that mind of yours?

I may watch this show as a mere show sometimes and forget that it tries to imply any social message sometimes... but then there is a sect of people out there whose very own story is being reflected.. and snatching away that single ray of hope that they saw flickering a while ago at the end of the tunnel... is surely not going down the books of any.

I have no issues with any of the actors as each one of them is giving their heart and soul to it... they breathe life into these characters...and many a times salvage the poorly written scenes by adding in subtle nuances... Had it not been for the marvelous cast...the 3 important main characters as well as the supportive actors...this show would have seen its end long back.

The creatives need to realize that they cannot fully bank on the cast to carry out the whole ordeal... there would always be a break point!!!... With such a cast you can do wonders ..I fail to understand why the creatives cannot see what we see.

Another thing which I think has registered in the minds of the creatives is... since the character Viraj has garnered eyeballs let us showcase him ...Well Hello!!!... It has been KVB who has done a fine job portraying that character and it is KVB winning the award n not Viraj ...and we all applaud him too... but this does not mean the creatives glorify evil to cash on winning more awards...while they are certainly earning a scorn from many out there viewing this distorted story.
Then there are is another character of equal importance -Raghav ,a character which is synonymous to hope for many. Now that character has been neglected far too many times. Creatives... get this straight...Glorifying evil will never work out in the long run..Its hope that works always!!!

And if its the fear that there is nothing left if the evil character is shadowed for a while... because they feel a story should always have a conflict between the good and bad...then i would like to add in whatever little knowledge i have ,that a story needs a conflict to propel it further but the conflict need not be between an evil man and the good one always...rather it can also be the conflict of the thoughts... conflicts of the mind. They can propel the story forward by minimizing Viraj's antics and rather concentrating on Siya trying to lead a normal life ..which in itself is a big conflict...for leading a normal life may be a far to easy line for me to say than for a Siya to live... She has an emotionally gripping journey from here onwards as she tries embracing the new found love and maybe the dreams of the marital life ahead. Creatives...start balancing out the characters...there are other characters out there that need and deserve importance too.

Hope they see what we see...and address the story in a balanced and crisp manner...Yes I still hope ... just because I want to see Siya's life as it takes a turn for the good!!!...sending out the much needed message to the ones it was once meant to depicts.

NOTE: Here when I say creatives... I mean the writers, producers, the channel...whosoever is concerned with the way the story shapes up..

Ana dear 🤗 ...thanks for coming up with post... I pretty much tried to stick to the point of the post...but I guess once in a while there I may have strayed a wee bit... and the recent episodes has me deep in waters as far as venting is concerned.

Everybody has said everything and I agreed that show has lost track. Cvs does not actually pay attention to story line except glorifying evil.

If the screenplay is weak, if the characterization is inconsistent, if the dialogues are terrible, there's a limit as to how much the actors can do in order to sell the scenes. The performances are always convincing, always top notch -- but the scenes are so poorly executed in writing as well as directing that the performances are downplayed rather than supported.
Believe it or not, but it's a close-knit co-operation/exchange between script and actors. The writers have to actually provide the actors with something substantial in order for the actors to interpret and deliver something layered.
I'm not half as bothered with that as I am with the glorification of V. By CVs and channel.

@Nadz : Thanks Dear 🤗

@Vandy Di: Thanks 🤗

@Ana :Thanks dear 🤗
And I so so agree with you... yes even though the actors put in every bit of their soul into the very characters they play to make it more real and to connect to the audience...they way their scenes are met with by the pre production team, the production team, the post production team , betrays the work of the wonderful artists at times...N that's not done!!!... They need to balance out every character and do justice to each character with regards to the presentation of the same as well.

Hello Everyone,

So there are a couple of issues that we've seen around the forum that we want to address. Please read through this carefully and if you have any questions, please PM us.

1) Lately, with all the confusion about the leap/no leap, KVB's exit, and everything in the story, there have been quite a few comments in which statements have been made about KVB holding some sort of a stake in the channel, the show, etc. We want to remind you all that such things are not allowed on the forum for a few reasons. 1) They deal with the personal life of an actor, not something we know about in any way. 2) We have no proof. 3) Ultimately, the comments associated with such assumptions and statements generally are attacks on the actor.

And this applies across the board - attacks on any of the actors in the show are not allowed. Constructive criticism is. Bashing is not. And clearly, this wouldn't fall under constructive criticism.

So please refrain from making such comments in the future.

2) Comparisons between actors - Let's not go there. Direct, indirect, implied, whatever. Not allowed between actors in any way. These things will result in consequences because everyone should know better than to make the snide remarks about actors and whatnot.

3) This isn't something new, but it seems to be something that we need to repeat over and over again, and we really hope everyone understands it this time around.

There is absolutely NO commenting on the members. At ALL. It doesn't matter if you meant something as a joke or whatever, if it's commenting on the members, it will result in action being taken. Thus statements such as "Viraj worshippers, sadists, lusty fangirls, etc" are not allowed. That's directly commenting on the members. Indirectly making the snide remarks is ALSO not allowed.

This is becoming a more and more serious issue and seriously, people, keep this in mind when posting because we think we've reminded everyone about this rule enough times by now.

4) And finally, something that's really obvious- sticking to the topic at hand. If a thread is about one actor, character, whatever, don't bring in other factors if they don't actually pertain to the topic the TM posted. This is generally what's leading to fights as we've noticed in the forum. The TM says one thing, someone else brings in something else and soon enough we have a full on fight. Let's just stick to the topic at hand.

Warnings will be sent out for a first offense of any rule here or any rule in the Forum Rules (Obviously), and if you have already gotten a warning PM, then a WL raise will be the next step.

Everyone in the forum knows the rules. No more excuses.

We hope everyone understands and cooperates. Again, any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to PM either Vrish or me.

Best,
