Hi Reema - yes totally agree - what next? where will they take this one in a million theme!

I must admit as everyone else i am not satisfied with what i saw for cancer and follow but i love all the jodis and their acting - so i manovafying my heart that atleast they played their part to the hilt.

i suppose we will see M jumping around from tomorrow as - nobody really needs to stay in the hospital after bone marrow transplant forget in isolation till your blood count comes up!

Hi, Reemz.
I, once again, totally agree with you. I've expressed my utter disgust (no exaggerating 'coz that's exactly what I felt) on the way the CVs handled something as grave and serious as cancer but whatever that may be, I had started equating this show to Maanvi's cancer and how it impacts those around her. It did have it's moments which were high on emotions and straightaway hit my heart. I, somehow, always thought that end of cancer will mean the climax of the show. Even my mother's reaction was 'Maanvi toh theek ho gayi ab yeh kal se kya dikhayenge?' It sounds pathetic but I am going to miss it's presence in the show from tomorrow😳
But maybe it's a good thing. Despite the loopholes and lack of sensitivity in most areas of it's portrayal, cancer remains a very very depressing disease to suffer for not only the patient but also for people around them and watching it on-screen isn't really the general audiences' idea of 'entertainment', I think. The show is in for a lot of drama, etc with the whole confrontation on the abortion and I think the viewers like it when characters scream at each other, I genuinely feel so. I know I sound cynical but then, that is what I am when it comes to the TRP audiences' taste and preferences🤔 I make out from your posts that you like to analyse emotions and what all the human mind and heart can bear. But not everyone watches a TV show with that much intellect and hence, I guess EHM had to do away with something which made it's audience so...sad?

The acting was super! definitely one of the strongest factors of the show. But I'm always going to think of the 'what ifs' now 😔

LOL I wouldn't be surprised if her hair grows back in 1-2 episodes either 🤣

How ironic is it? We're going to miss the presence of 'cancer' but it's true. The disease has been so synonymous with the show. After JM, the cancer was the next protagonist introduced in a way. I just hope they don't completely mess it up with typical twists & turns to keep the show running for no reason.

You've got it BANG ON about the trps! Definitely I think the reason why the TRPs did decrease despite such amazing portrayal of emotions is because people were getting too depressed with the story. I mean look at Manvi! She's one of the protagonists and people love to watch their betis & bahus looking beautiful with their fashion statements but she looks so ill. On the other hand, the ever controversial issue of 'abortion' was shown for the first time in such a light and I don't think the Indian audience is prepared for it at all. Regardless of what some put it down to (lack of romance etc), the TRP viewers like escapism and this show had got too serious for a while.

I loved the intensity, the emotions, the love but it got too much for the people sitting at home.

I can't believe we haven't talked about this but even I've thought that! What if it does? Jeevika's sacrifice would go to waste though 😛 But maybe this way we could get both JM to die at the end of the show 🤣

Hi Reemz:

Communicating with you after a long time - the last time was during KS days on that forum and wow that is really a long time ago.

I think they will kind of keep the connection to Manvi's disease being the root of things that might happen which will be that now it will be shown that Jeevika will not be able to conceive - Manvi will be blamed and feel guilty. And then Virat-Manvi will give their first child to Viren-Jeevika.

But before that they will show Manvi getting to know the truth and upset. She will know that Virat also was in the loop and feel betrayed and may have second thought about getting married. They some happy times with the marraige track before problems strike again.

Of course I have just mentioned what I think might happen in synopsis form and the writers will expand scenarios.

OMG Hi!! How are you? Definitely been a long long time. KS days 🤣 They were interesting!! LOL! That was the place to be back then.

That's why I'm hoping that Swamini Bua's taunts don't remain just taunts but they make a difference to the storyline otherwise there is no point. I think because the storyline has got so serious, they will turn to make it more light again before the hardcore emotions come again. The best way would be to have the wedding and let there be some underlying drama as there was in JV's wedding.

Baby/Surrogacy track is a high possibility.

Anything to make sure JM die in the end, eyy? 😆 If this show runs out of storylines after some time and then decides to turn into a kekta show who knows? We might be right WEEE
